Current state of the art putters all use the same basic methodology such as holding the traditional putter with 2 hands and addressing the ball sideways. the advantage of the Frontal Push Putter will be to enhance the accuracy of putting by using my methodology as well as design,

Description

SPECIFICATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS:

[0001] Take the Push Putter with one hand only and with body and putter turn and face the hole directly. Take up a stance behind the ball and toone side. Do not straddle the ball as it is against USGA rules. Stand about 1-3 feet back from the ball which will allow the shaft of the putter to angle back away from vertical and let the front hitting surface come into striking position. Angling the shaft back also allows better line of sight to the hole and comfort in handling. With the putter still resting on the putting green draw the putter back slowly always keeping your selected line of sight to the hole and always keeping the putter on the putting surface.With putter still on the ground push forward striking the ball. The speed at which the gliding motion strikes the ball will obviously determine the distance the ball will travel.A good analogy would be a poolstick striking the cue ball. The rounded bottom of the Frontal Push Putter serves a number of purposes. It allows a greater stability, during the stroke, it allows you So angle the putter back and the push pull motion to be effectuated with more stability.The elimination of one hand on the putter reduces the 2 wrist action during hitting which is why golfers pull or push the putting stroke.

DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0002] Drawings #1 thru #7 all show different designs of Push Putter with one common hitting surface which is marked A. The critical areas of my patent is point A and D on each drawing. Point D allows all the Frontal Push Putter designs the ability to have a gliding motion when used properly. Point A must be at the front of each putter. Point A on the push putter can be flat,round,or oval as shown on each drawing Phase 2 of the Frontal Push Putter will be exactly as shown on Drawings #1 thru #7 except the shaft to the putter head will have a configuration that looks like drawing #8.

Claims

1. I am claiming a new methodology for putting a golf ball. I am claiming by altering any putter design to my specifications and incorporating my methodology,which is critical, will greatly enhance the accuracy of putting.I claim that existing and traditional stroke is not as accurate as the Frontal Push Putter. I claim that said accuracy within 10 feet range to the cup. Accuracy beyond 10 feet will diminish but still be more accurate than existing methods of putting. I claim that Frontal Push putter will eliminate the use of one hand on the grip. I claim that eliminating one hand on the putter will allow greater stability during the hitting process and therefore give greater accuracy
