A chair capable of stacking like a ladder is disclosed. The legs of the chair are alternatively arranged. The inner lateral sides of the chair have longitudinal supporting protrusion so that one chair may stack upon another chair by the supporting protrusion. Buckling devices are used to transversally connect chairs so as to be formed with a ladder shape chair frame.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a ladder shape stackable chair, and especially to a chair structure, which may be longitudinally stacked or/and connected to one another transversally so as to be formed as a ladder or displaying frame.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] In general, a chair has four legs with an identical length. As they are not used, the chairs are stacked to one another for storage and saving space. As the chair is stacked, the bottom of the chair is flatly adhered to the top of another chair. Other than being storage conveniently, no any function is provided.

[0005] In general, many houses make cabinets which are extended from the ceiling with a certain length and for receiving books, disks or others. However, the height of the cabinet is too high to be reached by people. Therefore, ladders are prepared for reaching the cabinet, while as the ladder is not used, it will be stored but still occupies a small space so as to be formed as a waste in economics and space.

[0006] Furthermore, many display frames for locating books or other commodities are expanded like ladders which are different in height so as to present a beautiful feeling to the viewer. Moreover, such a design is beneficial for expanding the exhibiting area.

[0007] Therefore, from above description, it is appreciated that small type ladders have many applications in daily life. However, in many conditions, these ladders occupies a larger space as they are not used. While in general, chairs are necessary devices. Therefore, if there are chairs which can changed into ladders or displaying frame as desired, then above defects may be improved, while the advantages of chairs and ladders are retained.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a chair capable of stacking like a ladder which may be longitudinally stacked or/and connected to one another transversally so as to be formed as a ladder.

[0009] Another object of the present invention is to provide a chair capable of stacking like a ladder, in that a chair is multi-functional. The chairs can be assembled as ladders or display frames so that the cost is saved.

[0010] Further object of the present invention is to provide a chair capable of stacking like a ladder, wherein one chair may stack upon another chair by the supporting portions. Buckling devices are used to transversally connect chairs so as to be formed with a ladder shape chair frame. The space is saved and the height of the ladder is controllable.

[0011] A still further object of the present invention is to provide a chair capable of stacking like a ladder, which can be assembled easily and conveniently and used safely.

[0012] To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a chair capable of stacking like a ladder. The inner lateral sides of the chair have supporting portions which are arranged alternatively so that one chair may stack upon another chair by the supporting portions. At least a lower portion of two legs is arranged with buckling devices. Buckling devices are used to transversally connect the lower portion of each two chairs so as to be formed with a ladder shape chair frame. Therefore, ladders, displaying frame or displaying frames with level differences are formed, which are steadily. After the chairs are used, the chairs can be rotated through one angle so that they can be overlapped longitudinally.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0023] In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

[0024] Referring to FIG. 1, the chair of the present invention includes a chair surface 11, a plurality of legs 12 and longitudinal supporting protrusions 13 at the inner lateral side of the legs 12, which is alternatively spaced arrangement. The bottoms of at least two legs 12 are further installed with buckling devices 120 which are arranged in parallel spaced teeth (or nose portions, or blocks). The teeth of two adjacent buckling devices 120 are arranged alternatively, as shown in FIG. 7. Each protrusion 13 has a hollow portion at the upper portion for being formed with a leg structure. The periphery of the chair surface 11 is installed with a plurality of concave portions 110 at a position with respect to each protrusion 13 so that the protrusion 13 may pass through the corresponding concave portion 110 to be engaged therein.

[0025] By above structure, the chair of the present invention has many various shapes. For example, the chairs are overlapped for storage (referring to FIG. 4). Namely, the legs of the protrusion 13 of the first chair 10 are aligned to the concave portion 110A of the chair surface 11A of the second chair surface 11A so that the first chair covers the second chair surface 11A. The bottom of the first chair surface 11 is almost adhered to the top of the second chair surface 11A, and the bottom of the second chair surface 11A is almost adhered to the top of the third chair surface 11B, etc. Therefore, a plurality of chairs are overlapped for storage. Or, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the legs 12 of the first chair 10 is interleaved with the concave portion 110A of the second chair surface 11A. Then the first chair 10 is placed upon the second chair 10A. The protrusion 13 of the first chair resists against the chair surface 11A of the second chair 10A so that two chair surfaces are spaced with a distance (i.e., the length of the protrusion 13) so as to be a long assembly having a larger gap. Referring to FIG. 2, by a plurality of chairs A, B and C to connect transversally so as to be formed as a ladder with an equal spacing between different lattices, and thus a ladder or a display frame is assembled. The assembly structure is firmly and steady.

[0026] For assembling the chairs of the present invention to be formed as a ladder, or a display frame. The way is that the buckle devices 120 of the outer sides of the bottoms of the legs 12 are connected to each other so that teeth of the buckling device 120 of the legs 12 of the first chair is engaged downwards to the buckled device 120A of the legs 12A of the second chair. Thus, the assembly work without transversal force is formed. As it is desired to be detached, a (or a series of) chair is moved upwards. Therefore, in the present invention, as ladder is assembled for using, the top of the chair does not worry about the displacement of the gravitation force so that the ladder is separated or collapsed. Furthermore, the ladder assembled by the present invention has a larger bottom area and the height can be formed according to a practical requirement. The application is convenient. While as the present invention is used as a receiving frame or a display frame. The chair surface of each chair may be used to place objects, especially used as a flower frame. Each chair surface is placed with a pot of flowers for as to be formed as a three dimensional ladder shape flower wall (referring to FIG. 8). It is very beautiful.

[0027] Referring to FIG. 9, another preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown. A chair 100 includes a chair surface 11, a plurality of legs 12, longitudinal supporting protrusions 13 at the inner lateral side of the legs 12, which is alternatively spaced arrangement, buckling devices 120 installed at the bottoms of at least two legs 12 and a reinforced ring 121 added between each two legs in connection with each two legs 12 at the portion as near as the bottom of the protrusion 13, as shown in FIG. 9. This provision will prevent the leg 12 from being collapsed when a large number of chairs are required to be longitudinally stacked.

[0028] In summary, the chair of the present invention has improved the conventional chair having a unique application. Furthermore, it may develop with various applications such as a ladder, a object receiving frame and a display frame.

[0029] The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A chair capable of stacking like a ladder comprising a chair surface, a plurality of legs, a longitudinal supporting protrusion provided at an inner lateral sides of at least two legs of the chair, a plurality of concave portions the number of which is with respect to that of said longitudinal supporting protrusions, installed with at an outer periphery of the chair surface of said chair; said longitudinal supporting protrusions being resisted against another chair surface so that a plurality of chairs are arranged in longitudinal series so as to be formed with a ladder forming by a plurality of chairs.

2. The chair as claimed in claim 1, wherein outer sides of bottoms of at least two legs of said chair are installed with respective buckling devices for being connected transversally to another chair to be formed as a ladder shape connection.

3. The chair as claimed in claim 2, wherein said buckling device has a teeth structure, two adjacent buckling devices have teeth which are alternatively arranged.

4. The chair as claimed in claim 1, wherein the longitudinal supporting protrusion of a first chair passes through the concave portion of a second chair so that as said chairs are not used, which are stacked.

5. The chair as claimed in claim 1, wherein a reinforce ring is provided between two legs in connection with two chair legs at the positions near the bottom of the longitudinal supporting protrusions.
