Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a hu-la ring having two looped wires and a plurality of rotary members are rotatably connected between the two wires and each rotary member has protrusions extending therefrom so as to provide massage feature.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] A conventional hu-la ring is shown in FIG. 1 generally includes a looped wire 10 and the wire 10 extends through a plurality of balls 11. These balls 11 cannot roll on the user's body and can only move along the wire 10. The direction of the movement of the balls 11 is perpendicular to the user's body so that they cannot massage the user's body. FIG. 2 shows another conventional hu-la ring and includes a plurality sections of wire 121 and balls 12. Each ball 12 has two grooves with two large holes 131, 132 connected in communication with two ends of each of the two grooves 120. Each section of the wire 121 has a head 122 which is sized to be inserted in the hole 132 and cannot disengage from the hole 131. By this way, the balls 12 are connected one by one by the sections of wires 121. Again, when the balls 12 contact the user's body, they cannot roll over the user's body because the sections of wires 121 are located in horizontal direction and the axis of the user's body is vertical to the horizontal direction. In other words, the balls 11, 12 contact the user's body when playing the hu-la ring and they cannot provide any type of massage function along with the swing of the user's body.

[0003] The present invention intends to provide a hu-la ring that has balls each are rotatable about a respective vertical axle thereof and each ball has protrusion so as to massage the user's body during playing the hu-la ring.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a hu-la ring and includes two looped wires and a plurality of rotary members are connected between the two wires. Each rotary member has an axle extending therethrough and two engaging ports are connected on two ends of the axle. Each of the engaging ports has a recess defined therein so as to respectively engage with the two wires.

[0005] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a hu-la ring that has rotary members that roll over the user's body during playing the hu-la ring.

[0006] The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, four preferred embodiments in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0007] FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show a first conventional hu-la ring;

[0008] FIG. 2 is a perspective view to show a second conventional hu-la ring;

[0009] FIG. 3 is an illustrative view to show a user is playing a hu-la ring of the present invention;

[0010] FIG. 4 is a perspective view to show a first embodiment of the hu-la ring of the present invention;

[0011] FIG. 5 is a perspective view to show a second embodiment of the hu-la ring of the present invention;

[0012] FIG. 6 is a perspective view to show a third embodiment of the hu-la ring of the present invention, and

[0013] FIG. 7 is a perspective view to show a fourth embodiment of the hu-la ring of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0014] Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the hu-la ring of the present invention comprises two looped wires 20, 21 and a distance is defined between the two wires 20, 21. A plurality of rotary members 40 are connected between the two looped wires 20, 21 and each of the rotary members 40 has an axle 30 extending therethrough so that the rotary member 40 is rotatable about the axle 30. Two engaging ports 31, 32 are respectively connected on two ends of the axle 30 and each of the engaging ports 31, 32 has a recess 33 defined therein so as to respectively engage with the two wires 20, 21. Each of the rotary members 40 has a plurality of cone-shaped protrusions 41 extending radially therefrom so as to massage the user's body when the user plays the hu-la ring. Each of the rotary members 40 has three sections which are respectively mounted to the axle 30 and can be rotated about the axle 30 individually so that when the rotary member 30 has three rotatable sections.

[0015] FIG. 5 shows a second embodiment of the rotary member 40 which is a ball and the protrusions 41 are semi-spherical protrusions. FIG. 6 shows a third embodiment of the rotary member 40 which is a sphere and no protrusions extend from the sphere.

[0016] FIG. 7 shows a fourth embodiment which includes three looped wires 20, 21, 22 and a distance defined between the three wires 20, 21, 22. A plurality of rotary members 40 are connected between the wires 20 and 21, and between the wires 21 and 22. The embodiment has a large area that has rotary members 40 and each rotary member 40 has protrusions 41 so that when the user plays the hu-la ring, his/her body is massaged by these rotary members 40.

[0017] The rotary members 40 are rotated about the respective axles 30 that extend in the same direction as the axis of the user's body so that the rotary members 40 roll over and massage the user's body.

[0018] While we have shown and described the embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
