Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a cellular telephone bag for cellular telephone and, more particularly to such a cellular telephone bag which has a metal layer made from aluminum foil and adapted to shield the radiation of magnetic wave of the cellular telephone, preventing the user from the damage of the radiation of magnetic wave of the cellular telephone when using it.

[0002] Various researches regarding the affect of the radiation of magnetic wave of a cellular telephone to human brain and human body have been reported. According to a recent research made on 36 healthy adults by British Bristol University and issued in “International Radiation Biology Periodical”, continuously using a cellular telephone over half an hour does not causes the user to lose the memory, however the speed to answer questions is accelerated by 4% when using a cellular telephone. The researchers presumed that the cellular telephone causes “radiation heating” to the user's brain, which increases the temperature of the blood vessels of the brain, causing the brain to produce a biochemical reaction, resulting in the production of “thermal shock protein”. This thermal shock protein appears only when the human body suffers from a disease. This evidence shows the radiation of the cellular telephone threatened the brain.

[0003] Related researches show the use causes temporary memory loss, headache, tiredness, deterioration of immunity, brain tumor, blood cancer, and etc. It is suggested not to closely attach the cellular telephone to the ear, or to attach a radiation shield to the cellular telephone when using it.

[0004] According to the report of affects of cellular telephone radiation held by two Australian organizations on 200 mice., in which 100 mice received magnetic radiation, the other 100 mice didn't receive magnetic radiation. radiated mice were all died after one hear and a half. According to the report, brain tumor appeared nine moths after radiation, the brain tumor became serious gradually. This evidence shows the accumulated effect of the radiation of magnetic wave of cellular telephone.

[0005] According to the aforesaid reports, the radiation of magnetic wave of a cellular telephone has accumulated effect to the human brain or other part of the human body. It may causes magnetic wave allergic. Magnetic wave allergic is a nerve allergic resulted from long exposure to magnetic wave environment, which causes the syndromes of headache, eye pyrexia, vomiting, asthenia, joint pain, tinnitus, paralysis, arrhythmin of cordis, . . . etc. Therefore, it is desirable to provide a cellular telephone bag for cellular telephone that eliminates the aforesaid problem.

[0006] FIG. 1 shows a sheet material designed for use to make radiation-protective cellular telephone bags. This structure of sheet material is comprised of a meshed metal layer 10, and two leather covering layers 20 covered on top and bottom sides of the meshed metal layer 10. A cellular telephone bag made from this structure of sheet material has drawbacks. Because the meshed metal layer 10 has open spaces in it, it cannot effectively shield the radiation of magnetic wave. Further, the use of the meshed metal layer 10 greatly increases the manufacturing cost of the cellular telephone bag, and complicates its fabrication.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a cellular telephone bag, which attenuates and shields the radiation of magnetic wave of the cellular telephone held therein, preventing the user from the injury of the radiation of magnetic wave of the cellular telephone when using the cellular telephone. It is another object of the present invention to provide a radiation-protective cellular telephone bag, which is easy and inexpensive to manufacture. According to the present invention, the cellular telephone bag is made from a sheet of covering material comprised of an aluminum sheet material and a base leather. The base leather can be genuine leather, or any of a variety of synthetic leathers. The aluminum sheet material is made from aluminum foil for the advantage of low cost, high extendibility.

[0013] FIG. 6 illustrates the cellular telephone packed in the cellular telephone bag according to the present invention.

[0014] FIG. 7A illustrates the radiation of magnetic wave obtained from the cellular telephone without the cellular telephone bag according to the present invention.

[0015] FIG. 7B illustrates the radiation of magnetic wave obtained from the cellular telephone with the cellular telephone bag according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0016] Referring to FIG. 2, an aluminum sheet material 30 is shown comprising an intermediate layer of aluminum foil 32, and two covering layers of plastic film 31 respectively covered on top and bottom surfaces of the intermediate layer of aluminum foil 32. The intermediate layer of aluminum foil 32 is preferably processed by laser to show a particular design. The thickness of the aluminum sheet material 30 is preferably within 0.02 mm.

[0017] Referring to FIG. 3, the aforesaid aluminum sheet material 30 is bonded to a base sheet 40, forming a sheet of covering material for making cellular telephone bags. The base sheet 40 can be obtained from genuine leather, fabrics, or any of a variety of plastic sheet materials such as PE (polyethylene), PP (polypropylene) or EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) sheet materials.

[0018] Referring to FIGS. from 4 through 6, the cellular telephone bag, referenced by 50, is fabricated by using the sheet of covering material shown in FIG. 3, and adapted to hold a cellular telephone 70 and to shield the radiation of magnetic wave of the cellular telephone 70 during its operation. The cellular telephone bag 50 comprises a front panel 51 and a back panel 52 fitting over the front and back sides of the cellular telephone 70. The front panel 51 has a transparent window 60 corresponding to the face panel of the cellular telephone 70. The front panel 51 has a front extension that can be turned back and fastened to the back panel 52 by fastening means, for example, hook and loop materials (not shown) to keeps the cellular telephone 70 in position.

[0019] FIGS. 7A and 7B are radiation charts obtained from the cellular telephone without the cellular telephone bag and with the cellular telephone bag respectively. As illustrated, the radiation of magnetic wave of the cellular telephone is attenuated and shield by 60% after the use of the cellular telephone bag of the present invention.

[0020] A prototype of cellular telephone bag has been constructed with the features of FIGS. 2˜6. The cellular telephone bag functions smoothly to provide all of the features discussed earlier.

[0021] Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
