Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a magnetic snapping member which has a magnet enclosed by a plastic or rubber layer.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Clothes employ many buttons used to connect the front plackets. The buttons are on one placket and inserted through button holes in the other placket so as to combine the two plackets together. These button holes are made by several processes and the buttons have to be engaged with the button holes one by one. Snap closures are easily to be operated but they use two different parts and each part are sewed to the plackets. If the parts are made of metal which could get rust when the parts are exposed in water or moisture for a period of time.

[0003] The present invention intends to provide a magnetic snapping member which has a magnet enclosed by plastic or rubber layer and the plastic or rubber layer is convenient to be connected with each other by known ways.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a magnetic snapping member which comprises a magnet which is received in a hole defined in a layer. A top layer and a bottom layer respective seal the hole in the layer and the magnet is enclosed between the top layer and the bottom layer.

[0005] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic snapping member which includes a magnet sealed between two plastic or rubber layers.

[0006] The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0007] FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show the magnetic snapping member of the present invention;

[0008] FIG. 2 is a cross sectional view to show the magnetic snapping member of the present invention;

[0009] FIGS. 3 and 4 show that the magnetic snapping member of the present invention is used on the plackets of clothes;

[0010] FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view to show two magnetic snapping members are attached with each other;

[0011] FIG. 6 shows that the magnetic snapping member of the present invention is used on a glove, and

[0012] FIG. 7 shows that the magnetic snapping member of the present invention is used on a boot.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the magnetic snapping member of the present invention comprises a magnet 10 which is received in a hole defined in a plate 20. A top layer 21 and a bottom layer 22 respective seal the hole in the plate and the magnet 10 is enclosed between the top layer 21 and the bottom layer 22. The plate 20 is composed of the top layer 21 and the bottom layer 22 by way of heat compression or other known methods. The plate 20 can be made of rubber or plastic so that the plate 20 is flexible and easily to be shaped or machined. The top layer 21 and the bottom layer 22 will not affect the magnetic function of the magnet 10 so that the magnetic snapping member can be used in clothes as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. The two magnetic snapping members are easily attached with each other as shown in FIG. 5. Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, the magnetic snapping members may also used on gloves and boots.

[0014] The magnetic 10 is enclosed by the top layer 21 and the bottom layer 22 so that it is isolated from water and will not get rust.

[0015] While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
