Abstract

To remove a Chewing Gum Wad from Carpet, Upholstery while standing upright. With Gum Probe Hand tool, probe Gum Wad. Pour or spray Gum remover directly on Gum Wad. Let stand 2-3 minutes, allowing Gum Remover to start loosing Gum from fibers. With Gum Eliminator Hand Tool, at edge of Gum Wad, gently push toward center of Gum Wad. Place Gum Wad in a piece of paper. With Gum Scraper Hand Tool, place clean cloth on Scraper. Securing cloth with Gum Hand Clamp. Move Gum Scraper Hand Tool in a back and forth motion to wick up excess solution. To remove Carpet Stains, generously spray Carpet Stain. With Gum Scraper Hand Tool, agitate Carpet Stain. Place clean cloth on Scraper Hand Tool using Gum Clamp. Move in a back and forth motion wicking stain into clean cloth.

[0001] After (33) years in the Cleaning Maintenance Industry, I William Thomas developed a liquid solution called E-Z OUT GUM, CANDLE WAX, ROAD TAR REMOVER. This product when a small amount is poured on a Gum Wad in a Carpet will allow the Gum Wad to be removed in one piece with the help of my invention.

[0005] The Chewing Gum Probe, Eliminator and the Gum Scraper Hand Tool is secured to a ¾ Aluminum Tube that is 44″ inches in length. The Chewing Gum Probe, Eliminator and the Gum Scraper Hand Tool is made of Delrin Plastic. This Plastic offers a unique combination of properties including elasticity, high strength, rigidity and dimensional stability. It also has excellent resistance to moisture, gasoline, solvents and many other neutral chemicals. Delrin shapes include low coefficient of friction, good bearing properties and a high resistance to repeated impacts. The Chewing Gum Probe is designed to probe the Gum Wad While standing in the upright position. This allows the liquid Gum Remover, E-Z OUT GUM REMOVER to be poured directly on the Gum Wad.

[0006] Once this step has been completed, the Chewing Gum Eliminator while standing in the upright position. Start at the edge of the Gum Wad, push toward the middle of the Gum Wad slowly in a back and forth motion until the Gum Wad has released itself from the carpet fibers. This complete removal process is done while standing up. To remove Candle Wax from Carpets and Upholstery: 1. First, scrape off excess Candle Wax with the Scraper Hand Tool. 2. Pour E-Z OUT GUM REMOVER on affected areas. With the Chewing Gum Scraper Hand Tool, Start at the outside edge of the Candle Wax. Move the Gum Scraper Hand Tool in a back and forth motion. The Gum Scraper Hand Tool and the E-Z OUT REMOVER will liquify the Candle Wax. With a clean cloth secured to the end of the Gum Scraper Hand Tool by the Gum Hand Clamp, move in a back and forth motion which will allow the clean cloth to wick up excess solution and Candle Wax while standing in the upright position. To remove Road Tar and Grease Spots from Carpets, Upholstery. Remove as much excess Road Tar as possible by scraping in a back and forth motion with the Gum Scraper Hand Tool. Pour or Spray E-Z OUT GUM REMOVER on the affected areas. With the Gum Scraper Hand Tool, start at the edge of the stain area in a back and forth motion, the stain will loosen tip. Take a clean white cloth, secure it to the end of the Gum Scraper Hand Tool with the Gum Hand Clamp. Gently move in a back and forth motion until stain is wicked into the clean cloth. [0022] It is quite clear that the sources and properties of soil found in carpets is a combination of various components from a number of sources. There are (4) four general types of classifications of soil found in carpets. The four general types are:

[0023] 1. Water Base (water soluble soils) Things that are under normal conditions can be dissolved in water. Most drinks, plant and animal soils fit this category. Cleaning this type of soil is generally accomplished using water or water base cleaning solutions such as detergents, acid or alkalines.

[0024] 2. Oil Bacs (dry solvent soluble) Things that normally dissolve in dry solvents. Some examples of this type of soil are paint, oil, grease, tar, gum, lipstick, ink or salad oil. Cleaning systems usually require dry solvents or powerful suspension.

[0025] 3. Non-Soluble (soil) That which will riot dissolve in water or dry solvent. This type of soil is usually mineral based such as sand or graphite, cleaning usually involves emulisifiers and suspension solutions.

[0026] 4. Chemical Change, this type includes dye changes caused by solutions such as bleach, strong chemical or dye containing food and beverages. Example of this type of soil are fruit punch, cough syrup, mustard, old urine stains, furniture stains or rust. Removal of chemical change type of soiling usually requires a specialized chemical reaction or highly specialized skills and techniques such as spot dyeing or bleaching. Even with extraordinary effort, many stains in this category will not respond and are considered permanent.

[0029] How Gum Scraper Hand Tool Work While Washing Windows

[0030] Hundreds of thousands of windows are washed daily. Presently, the only wat to remove excess water runs, drips and spots after squeeging water off windows is to put a cloth or chamios on the end of a window stick which is a pointed object.
