Palletized tent platform with interconnecting pallets, to fit most tent sizes

The Palletized Tent Platform lifts the tent off the ground away from elements, such as water. A pallet is one solid piece. Pallets slide together to form the platform. U Shaped Clips hold the pallets together, which allows for easy assembly of platform. The platform can be used with most existing tent designs. The pallets can be constructed in any size to fit almost any tent. Example, a 3′×3′ pallet, can be used to make a 9′×12′ platform. The platform would be constructed using 12 pallets. The top of the pallets form the base on which the bottom of the tent lays. The hoops on the pallet will be tied to the hoops on the tent to hold in on the platform. The same tent hoops which where formally used to stake a tent to the ground.

Description
BACKGROUND

[0001] The Palletized Tent Platform lifts the tent off the ground away from elements, such as water. A pallet is one solid piece. Pallets slide together to form a platform.

SUMMARY

[0002] The top of the pallets form the base on which the bottom of the tent lays. The pallets have two slotted sides and two extruded sides. The extrusions are designed to slide into the slotted sides of the adjoining pallet. U Shape Clips are then applied to hold the two pallets together. The hoops on the bottom side of the pallet are used to tie the tent hoops to the platform. The same tent hoops which where formally used to stake a tent to the ground. The legs raise the base off the ground, to keep the elements under the tent.

Claims

1) The Palletized Tent Platform holds the tent base off of the ground, keeping it away from elements such as water.

2) Ease of assembly of Palletized Tent Platform, which consists of pallets and U Shaped Clips.

3) The Palletized Tent Platform can be used with most existing tent designs.

4) Less space is taken up when two pallets are placed together do to the offset leg design. This allows for easier carrying and storing of pallets.
