Solitaire game

A solitaire game for use while traveling in vehicles and the like that includes a game board having a number of flip-over discs that are flipped-over in a systematic fashion to play a game of solitaire.

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to solitaire games and more particularly to a solitaire game that includes a game board having one central section and four spaced outer sections surrounding the central section wherein each of the outer sections includes six flip-over disc members and the center sections include nine flip-over disc members; each of the flip-over disc members having a first indication color on one side and a second indicating color on the other side. The solitaire game being played by flipping over three of the flip-over discs in a row such that all of the flip-over discs in the outer areas have the same indicating color facing upward and the flip-over discs in the center section have the remaining indicating color facing upward.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

[0002] Many individuals enjoy playing solitaire games. Although many individuals enjoy playing solitaire games it can be difficult to play these games while traveling in a moving vehicle. It would be a benefit, therefore, to have a solitaire game which included a game board having a number of flip-over discs which could be flipped-over in a systematic fashion to allow the user to play a game by him/herself.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

[0003] It is thus an object of the invention to provide a solitaire game that includes a game board having one central section and four spaced outer sections surrounding the central section wherein each of the outer sections includes six flip-over disc members and the center sections include nine flip-over disc members; each of the flip-over disc members having a first indication color on one side and a second indicating color on the other side. The solitaire game being played by flipping over three of the flip-over discs in a row such that all of the flip-over discs in the outer areas have the same indicating color facing upward and the flip-over discs in the center section have the remaining indicating color facing upward.

[0004] Accordingly, a solitaire game is provided. The solitaire game includes a game board having one central section and four spaced outer sections surrounding the central section wherein each of the outer sections includes six flip-over disc members and the center sections include nine flip-over disc members; each of the flip-over disc members having a first indication color on one side and a second indicating color on the other side. The solitaire game being played by flipping over three of the flip-over discs in a row such that all of the flip-over discs in the outer areas have the same indicating color facing upward and the flip-over discs in the center section have the remaining indicating color facing upward.

EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS

[0007] FIG. 1 show an exemplary embodiment of a solitaire game of the present invention generally designated 10. Solitaire game 10 includes a cross shaped game board 12 including 1 square central section 14 surrounded by four rectangular shaped outer sections 16, 18, 20, 22. Each of the outer sections 16, 18, 20, 22 includes six flip-over disc members 26 which have a first side 28 of a first indication color and a second side 30 of a second indication color.

[0008] The solitaire game is played by flipping over three of the flip-over discs 26 at a time that are in a row and with the object being to end up with the outer sections 16; 18, 20, 22 all with the same indicator color facing upward and the center section 14 all having the opposite color facing upward

Claims

1) A solitaire game board a game board comprising:

one central section and four spaced outer sections surrounding the central section wherein each of the outer sections includes six flip-over disc members and the center sections include nine flip-over disc members, each of the flip-over disc members having a first indication color on one side and a second indicating color on the other side.

2) A method of playing a solitaire game comprising the steps of:

a) providing board a game board comprising one central section and four spaced outer sections surrounding the central section wherein each of the outer sections includes six flip-over disc members and the center sections include nine flip-over disc members; each of the flip-over disc members having a first indication color on one side and a second color on the other side game;
b) the game being played by a player who flips over three of the flip-over discs in a row until the player to flips over three discs in a row in a manner such that all of the flip-over discs in the outer areas have the same indicating color facing upward and the flip-over discs in the center section have the remaining indicating color facing upward.
