Air cushion bed with a plurality of airbag chambers

An air cushion bed used for leg exercise machine comprises a main bed airbag chamber and a pillar airbag chamber. The main bed airbag chamber is further divided with an oblong airbag chamber and a round airbag chamber. The other part of the main bed airbag chamber is around the oblong airbag chamber and round airbag chamber. The oblong airbag chamber is higher than the round airbag chamber; and thus after air inflation, the air cushion bed is tilt. The predetermined positions of the main bed airbag chamber, oblong airbag chamber and round airbag chamber are formed with respectively air inlets. A male sticky buckle strip is formed at a predetermined position at a front end of the main bed airbag chamber for being stuck by the female sticky buckle strip of the pillar airbag chamber.

Description

[0001] The present invention is the continuous in part (CIP) of the U.S. patent Ser. No. 09/919,886, which is now incorporated into the present invention as a part of this specification.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention relates to airbag bed, and particularly to an air cushion bed which is divided into a plurality of airbag chambers to fit various sections of human body.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The prior art air cushion beds can be referred to U.S. Pat. No. 5,003,653, “Seat Assembly”; U.S. Pat. No. 4,459,714, “Multi-Function Cushion And Its Assemblies”. The former one describes a seat assembly used for the bottom of the user. The latter describes a detachable air cushion. The seat cushion in U.S. Pat. No. 5,003,653 is separable, but user can not lie upon the seat. Moreover, the air inflation air can not match the requirement ergonomics. Further after inflating with air, the whole structure is at the same level so that cannot match the shape of user's body. When user lies upon it, the body of the user cannot be well supported.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide an air cushion bed used for leg exercise machine comprises a main bed airbag chamber and a pillar airbag chamber.

[0005] The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0006] FIG. 1 is a structural exploded view of the present invention.

[0007] FIG. 2 is a structural assembled view of the present invention.

[0008] FIG. 3 is an assembled cross sectional view of the present invention.

[0009] FIG. 4 shows one embodiment that the present invention is used with a leg exercise machine.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0010] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the air cushion bed of the present invention is illustrated. The air cushion bed mainly includes a main bed airbag chamber 10 and a pillar airbag chamber 20. The main bed airbag chamber 10 has an oblong airbag chamber 30 and a round airbag chamber 40. The oblong airbag chamber 30 and the round airbag chamber 40 are formed from the main bed airbag chamber 10 by heat pressure. The predetermined positions of the main bed airbag chamber 10, oblong airbag chamber 30 and round airbag chamber 40 are formed with air inlets 13, 31 and 41. Moreover, a male sticky buckle strip 14 is formed at a predetermined position at the front end of the main bed airbag chamber 10 for being stuck by the female sticky buckle strip 21 of the pillar airbag chamber 20.

[0011] A predetermined position of the bottom of the pillar airbag chamber 20 is installed with the female sticky buckle strip 21 and the air inlet 22. Thereby, air can be pumped into the pillar airbag chamber 20 through the air inlet 22.

[0012] By above feature, when air is filled into the main bed airbag chamber 10, oblong airbag chamber 30 and round airbag chamber 40 through the air inlets 13, 31 and 41. The inflation air in the main bed airbag chamber 10 is about 80%. The inflation air in the oblong airbag chamber 30 and round airbag chamber 40 are about 60% so that the main bed airbag chamber 10 is tilt. The inflation air of the main bed airbag chamber 10 is set in a saturation condition and has an effect to cause to the bed to be stable. When the body lies upon the air cushion bed, the backbone of the body exactly lies upon the oblong airbag chamber 30 with 80% inflation air and the bottom lies upon the round airbag chamber 40 with 60% inflation air. Thereby, when the users use a leg exercise machine, the legs of the user may move along a path like “8”, while the backbone of the user can lie upon the oblong airbag chamber 30 as shown in FIG. 4.

[0013] Furthermore, to be suit the requirement of ergonomics, the female sticky buckle strip 21 at the bottom of the pillar airbag chamber 20 can be adhered to the main bed airbag chamber 10 at a front end of the main bed airbag chamber 10.

[0014] The feature of the present invention will be described herein.

[0015] 1. There are three independent airbags which can be inflated independently as required.

[0016] 2. The present invention can be carried out and stored conveniently. Moreover, since the airbags are divided into three bags. The time periods for air inflation and releasing are reduced.

[0017] The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
