Description

[0001] FIGS. 1-14 show preferred embodiments of toys made principally of resilient foam materials. Each of the toys relates to a device for projecting an article through the air with interesting properties.

[0002] FIGS. 1 and 8-11 illustrate a plane that uses a bungee device to propel the plane through the air.

[0003] FIG. 2 shows various views of a battery-operated rocket.

[0004] FIGS. 3-5 and 12 show various views of two different slingshot designs.

[0005] FIGS. 6-7 and 13-14 show top, bottom, front and rear views of a slingbow design.

[0006] Although the invention has been disclosed in its preferred forms, the specific embodiments thereof as disclosed and illustrated herein are not to be considered in a limiting sense, because numerous variations are possible. Applicants regard the subject matter of their invention to include all novel and non-obvious combinations and subcombinations of the various elements, features, functions, and/or properties disclosed herein.

Claims

1. A toy slingshot comprising

a handle,
a projectile holder attached to the handle, the holder having two sides for holding a foam projectile,
an elastic band member connecting the two sides of the holder, and
a foam hammer member connected to a central portion of the elastic band member for launching a projectile being held by the holder.
