BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Product to be used in areas related to health and comfort of the consumer.

[0005] Products currently on the market for the same uses are too expensive (adjustable beds) or bulky and hard to store (foam wedges).

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The Airwedge will be used to elevate the head or foot of the bed when placed between the mattress and box springs. When inflated at the head of the bed it can be used to aid people who have acid reflux, breathing problems and sleep apnea, or any problem where their physician recommends elevating the head of the bed. When inflated at the foot of the bed it can be used to aid people with circulation problems, or back and leg pain, or any problem where their physician recommends elevating the foot of the bed.

[0007] The Airwedge can be inflated just for comfort also and can be deflated to return bed to its regular position.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

[0008] One drawing showing The Airwedge while inflated. The Airwedge has a release valve that can be opened to deflate and is shown with a 110 pump attached which is needed to inflate The Airwedge but is not part of the invention to be patented.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0009] The Airwedge will be constructed of a durable vinyl with all seams sealed. It will be constructed with a non-slip surface so that it will stay in place. The Airwedge will inflate up to 8 inches and will come in sizes to fit twin, full, queen and king size beds. It will have a valve on the side that can be opened to release or deflate the air. It will have an air pump that is required to inflate the Airwedge that uses 110 electrical outlet or a hand pump that does not requireelectricity. Again, the pump is required but is not part of the patent application. The Airwedge can be placed while deflated between the mattress and box springsor it can be used on top of the mattress for consumers with water beds. The Airwedge can remain between the mattress and box springs during inflating and deflating as needed.
