Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a separable zipper head, wherein the maintenance, updating and assembly of the first zipper head can be made rapidly.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Zippers are widely used in many modern articles, such as clothes, packets, etc. The zipper head is an important object for collocating with the zipper. In general, the zipper head has a structure as illustrated in FIG. 1. One end of the zipper head 90 has a buckling ring 91 for buckling a pull 92. By pulling the pull 92, the buckling ring 90 can be driven so as to buckle and separate the zipper. Sine the zipper head is used frequently and often suffers from improper forces, the buckling ring 91 and the pull 92 are destroyed (or other portion is destroyed). That is the buckling ring 91 can not be buckled to the pull 92. Therefore, the zipper can not be well operated even can not be used. Once the zipper head is destroyed, in current design of a zipper, it can only update the whole zipper. However, to update a zipper is very complex and difficult. Another, the time for washing a clothes will be deferred.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a separable zipper head, wherein the maintenance, updating and assembly of the first zipper head can be made rapidly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the separable zipper head of the present invention includes a first zipper head 10, a second zipper head 20 and a locking device 30. The first zipper head 10 includes a first zipper plate 11. The first zipper plate 11 is installed with a concave post 12. The post 12 is installed with a through hole 13. The through hole 13 penetrates through the post 12 from the first zipper plate 11. The lower edge of the post 12 is installed with a concave connecting end 121. The two sides of the concave connecting end 121 facing the periphery of the post 12 have respective tilt connecting surfaces 122. The second zipper head 20 includes a second zipper plate 21. The two sides of the second zipper plate 21 are installed with a stopper 22 for sealing the zipper 60 (referring to FIG. 7) for preventing the zipper 60 from leaving the head. The stoppers 22 at the two sides thereof are installed with an opening 23. The second zipper plate 21 has a post 24 at a position with respect to the post 12 of the first zipper plate 11. The post 12 is installed with a thread hole 25. A top end of the post 24 is installed with a concave connecting end 241. Two sides of the periphery of the post 24 of the concave connecting end 241 are protruded upwards to present with tilt connecting surfaces 121. The post 24 has a taper end 243 with respect to the opening 23 of the zipper. The taper end 243 is formed as two channels 26 of the second zipper plate 21 for opening and closing the zipper 60. Furthermore, another surface of the post 24 of the second zipper plate 21 is installed with a buckling ring 27 for buckling a pull 28. By pulling the pull 28, the zipper head is driven for buckling or detaching the zipper. The locking device 30 is formed by the posts 12 and 24 of the first and second zipper heads, 10 and 20, and further includes a first stud 31 for locking the first and second zipper head 10 and 20.

[0021] Referring to FIGS. 4 to 6, as the separable zipper head of the present invention is assembled, the post 12 of the first zipper plate 11 is aligned to the post 24 of the second zipper plate 21. The protruding connecting end 121 of the post 12 is exactly embedded into the concave connecting end 241 of the post 24. The tilt connecting surface 122 of the post 12 is connected to the tilt connecting surface 242 of the post 24 so as to increase the retaining structure. Then, the through hole 13 of the post 12 of the first zipper plate 11 is aligned to the threaded hole 25 of the post 24 of the second zipper plate 21. The stud 31 to pass through the through hole 13 of the first zipper plate 11 so as to lock to the threaded hole 25 of the second zipper plate 21. Therefore, the assembly work of the first zipper head 10 and second zipper head 20 are complete (referring to FIG. 7).

[0022] If any one of the first zipper head 10 and second zipper head 20 are damaged, the stud 31 can be detached so that the first zipper head 10 and the second zipper head 20 are separated. Then the damaged one of the first zipper head 10 and second zipper head 20 are updated. By screwing the stud 31, the function of the zipper 60 can be restored immediately. The assembly of the zipper is easy. The updating work can be performed by the user himself (or herself). It is unnecessary to update the whole zipper.

[0023] Referring to FIG. 8, another embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. The first zipper head 40 comprises a first zipper plate 41. The first zipper plate 41 has a buckling post 42. A lower end of the buckling post 42 is installed with a hook 43. Another, the second zipper head 50 is installed with respective buckling hole 51. By the buckling connection of the hook 43 and the buckling hole 51, the assembly of the first and second zipper head 40, 50 is complete. Moreover, the connection of the first zipper head and second zipper head may be executed by a clamping spring or other buckling way so as to achieve the object of separating and combing the first zipper head and second zipper head.

[0024] Referring to FIGS. 9 and 10, another embodiment of the zipper head is illustrated. A separable zipper head of the present invention includes a first zipper head 100, a second zipper head 200 and a locking device 300. The first zipper head 100 includes a first zipper plate 110. The first zipper plate 110 is installed with a post 120. The post 120 is installed with a notch 130. The second zipper head 200 includes a second zipper plate 210. The two sides of the second zipper plate 210 are installed with stopper 220 for sealing the zipper 60 (referring to FIG. 6) for preventing the zipper 60 from leaving the head. The stoppers 220 at the two sides thereof are installed with an opening 230. The second zipper plate 210 has a pillar 240 at a position with respect to the post 120 of the first zipper plate 110. The pillar 240 has a hole 250 having a size corresponding to the post 12. The pillar 240 has a taper end 2410 at a position with respect to the opening 230. The taper end 2410 is formed as two zipper channels of the second zipper plate 210 for opening and closing the zipper 60. Moreover, the pillar 240 has a threaded hole at a position with respect to the taper end 2410. The threaded hole 2420 penetrates through the hole 250. Moreover, the second zipper plate 210 has a buckling ring 270 facing to another surface of the pillar 240. The buckling ring 270 is used to buckle a pull 280. By pulling the pull 280, the zipper head is driven to buckle or detach the zipper. The locking device 300 is formed by the posts 120, and pillar 240 of the first and second zipper heads, 10 and 20, and further includes a first stud 310 for locking the first and second zipper head 100 and 200.

[0025] Referring to FIGS. 11 to 12, as the separable zipper head of the present invention is assembled, the post 120 of the first zipper plate 110 is aligned to the pillar 240 of the second zipper plate 210 so as to insert into the hole 250. The stud 310 passes through the threaded hole 2420 of the pillar 240. Finally, it resists against the notch 130 of the post 120 so as to position the first zipper plate 110. Therefore, the assembly work of the first zipper head 10 and second zipper head 20 are complete (referring to FIGS. 10 and 13). In updating work, by detaching the lower stud 310, the first zipper head 100 and second zipper head 200 are separated to update the first zipper head 100 and second zipper head 200. Then the stud 310 is assembled to lock the two heads so as to restore the function of the zipper.

[0026] The present invention are thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways.
