Frame of exerciser bikes
A support frame of an exerciser bike includes a front bar which has two support pad assemblies connected on two ends of the front bar and contacting the ground. A beam has a first end thereof connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar, and a second end of the beam contacts the ground. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam so that the weight of the exerciser bike is evenly supported by the front bar and the beam.
[0001] The present invention relates to a frame for an exerciser bike and the frame includes a front bar with two ends thereof contacting the ground and a beam is connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0002] A conventional exerciser bike is shown in FIG. 1 and generally includes a first post 11 with a handle 111 connected to a top of the first post 11, and a second post 12 which is connected to a seat 121. A transmission device is connected between the first post 11 and the second post 12. The exerciser bike is connected on an I-shaped frame 20 which has two bars 22 with a connection rod 21 connected between the two bars 22. The connection rod 21 has two curve plate 23 connected on two ends thereof and each of the curve plates 23 has two holes 24 defined therethrough. Each of the two bars 22 has two holes 25 defined therein so that two bolts 26 extend through the holes 24 in the curve plate 23 and are engaged with the holes 25 in the bar 22. The positions of the holes 24 and 25 have to be precise so as to let the two bars 22 horizontally put on the ground. The curve plates 23 are welded on the connection rod 21 so that they could not be positioned as desired, and this causes the two bars 22 be connected at unexpected positions which make the exerciser bike shake when in use.
[0003] The present invention intends to provide a T-shaped frame of an exerciser bike wherein the front bar of the frame has two ends contacting the ground and the beam is connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam so that the weight of the exerciser bike is evenly supported.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0004] In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a support frame of an exerciser bike and includes a front bar which has two ends contacting the ground and a beam has a first end thereof connected to an intermediate portion of the front bar, and a second end of the beam contacts the ground. The exerciser bike is connected on the beam.
[0005] The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS[0006] FIG. 1 is a perspective view to show a conventional exerciser bike and a conventional support frame;
[0007] FIG. 2 is a perspective view to show an exerciser bike connected on a support frame of the present invention;
[0008] FIG. 3 is an exploded view to show the connection between the front bar and the beam of the support frame of the present invention, and
[0009] FIG. 4 is a top view to show the connection between the front bar and the beam of the support frame of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT[0010] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, the support frame 40 of the present invention comprises a front bar 41 which has two support pad assembly 410 connected to two ends of the front bar 41 and these two support pad assemblies 410 contact the ground. A support member 43 is connected to the intermediate portion of the front bar 41 and comprises two side plates 42 and a bottom plate connected between the two side plates 42. Each of the two side plates 42 has a groove defined therein.
[0011] A beam 33 has a first end thereof connected to the support member 43 and a second end of the beam 33 has another support pad assembly which contacts the ground. An insertion member 34 is connected to the first end of the beam 33 and inserted between the two side plates 42. Two bolts 45 extend through two holes 44 in the bottom plate of the support member 43 and are connected to two engaging holes 35 in the insertion member 34.
[0012] An exerciser bike 30 is connected on the beam 33 and includes a first post 31 with a handle 311 connected thereto, a second post 32 with a seat 321 connected thereto, and a transmission device 36 is connected to the bike 30.
[0013] It is easily to insert the insertion member 34 in the support member 43 to have an initial connection, and the bolts 45 are used to connect the insertion member 34 to the support member 43. This connection can be done by one person and the weight of the bike 30 is evenly supported and dispensed by the three support pad assemblies 410 respectively on the front bar 41 and the beam 33.
[0014] While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
