Flush toilet provided with means to enhance water efficiency thereof and to avert obstruction of drainpipe thereof

A flush toilet comprises a bowl, a water tank, a drainpipe in communication with the basin of the bowl and a septic tank, and a loop connected between the bowl and the drainpipe to enable parts of water and air in the drainpipe to flow into the bowl basin at such time when the toilet is flushed, thereby enabling the waste matter to fall rapidly by its own weight into the septic tank.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates generally to a flush toilet, and more particularly to a water-efficient flush toilet capable of preventing the drainpipe thereof from being clogged by the waste matter.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] In light of the public perception of water conservation, the water-efficient flush toilet is gaining popularity. However, the conventional water-efficient flush toilet is defective in design in that its drainpipe is susceptible to being clogged by the waste matter due to the flush of a relatively small amount of water. In other words, the waste matter can not be often washed out by the first flush, and even the second flush. In fact, the conventional water-efficient flush toilet does not produce an intended effect of water conservation.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a flush toilet which is capable of preventing the drainpipe thereof from being clogged by the waste matter.

[0004] It is another objective of the present invention to provided a flush toilet which is water-efficient and effective in flushing out the waste matter in each flush.

[0005] In keeping with the principle of the present invention, the foregoing objectives of the present invention are attained by a flush toilet comprising a bowl, a water tank, a drainpipe in communication with a septic tank and the bowl basin, and a loop in communication with the bowl basin and the drainpipe. Each time when the flush toilet of the present invention is flush, portions of water and air in the drainpipe flow into the bowl via the loop, so as to enable the waste matter to fall into the septic tank effectively by its own weight.

[0006] The features and the functions of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0007] FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0008] FIG. 2 shows a sectional schematic view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention at work.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0009] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a flush toilet embodied in the present invention comprises a bowl 10, a water tank 12 in communication with a basin 18 of the bowl 10, a drainpipe 14 in communication with the basin 18 of the bowl 10, and a septic tank (not shown in the drawings), and a loop 16 in communication with the basin 18 of the bowl 10 and the drainpipe 14.

[0010] In operation, an appropriate amount of water is released by the water tank 12 into the bowl 10 so as to flush out the waste matter deposited in the basin 18 of the bowl 10. In the course of the flushing of the toilet of the preferred embodiment of the present invention, portions of air and water in the drainpipe 14 move into the bowl 10 via the loop 16, thereby resulting in a pressure-free drainpipe 14 via which the waste matter falls rapidly by its own weight into the septic tank, as illustrated in FIG. 2.

[0011] The loop 16 of the present invention may be provided with a shut-off valve 20 which is intended to block the passageway of the loop 16 at such time when a plunger or the like is used to free the clogged drainpipe 14.

[0012] The embodiment of the present invention described above is to be regarded in all respects as being merely illustrative and nonrestrictive. Accordingly, the present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without deviating from the spirit thereof. The present invention is thereof to be limited only by the scopes of the following claims.
