Hockey cage

A Hockey cage comprises a structure frame and a net, the structure frame comprises an upper pipe, a lower pipe connected to the upper pipe by a pair of supporting pipes, and a pair of connecting pipes, respectively. The connecting areas of each pipe are formed with either springs nod or locating holes for connection, the net comprises four soft pads on each end to be inserted through the upper pipe, the lower pipe and the supporting pipes, respectively, to spread the net evenly along the structure frame.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] This invention relates to a hockey cage, and more particular to an easy assembling hockey cage.

[0002] City people like to have outdoor life on a weekend or at leisure time to relax the tension from work. While playing at the beach or park, there are various sports that needs not too big space nor too many people, one of which is playing hockey. However, a traditional hockey cage is already assembled which is not easy to carry in the car.

[0003] Although a new cage with a disassemble design was sold in the market, which has a structure to adjust the size of the opening end of the cage, but the adjustment is complicated, which is inconvenient for users, the fasteners are easy to loose and the appearance is not in the principle of state of art.

[0004] In view of this, the inventor has devised a new design of the hockey cage, which is easy to assemble and disassemble.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a hockey cage, which is easy to assemble and disassemble.

[0006] It is another object of the present invention to provide a hockey cage, which takes less space to store and is easy to carry.

[0007] It is a further object of the present invention to provide a hockey cage, which corresponds to the principle of state of the art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0011] A hockey cage of the present invention comprises a structure frame 1, and a net 2, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

[0012] The structure frame 1 comprises an upper pipe 11, two supporting pipes 12, a lower pipe 13, and two connecting pipes 14. The upper pipe 11 is in a reversed U-shape, with two hollow connecting pipes 111 extending from the longitudinal cross pipe thereof, each short pipe 111 has a pair of holes 112 thereon opposing each other. Each of the two ends of the upper pipe 11 has an extension 113 with a pair of spring nods 114 protruding towards opposite directions. The two supporting pipes 12 are both in L-shaped, each has a hollow portion with two locating holes 121 on one end and opposing each other. The lower pipe 13 is also in U-shaped having a pair of hollow connecting pipes 133 protruding from the cross bar and two extensions 131. Each of the hollow connecting pipes 133 has a pair of locating holes 134 thereon and opposing with each other, and each of the extensions 131 has a pair of spring nods 132 on the extension 131 and opposing with each other. Each of the connecting pipes 14 has a pair of extensions 141 on each end, with a pair of spring nods 142 on each end and opposing each other. The two extensions 141 of each connecting pip 14 are to be inserted into a corresponding locating hole of the upper frame 11 and the lower pipe 13 with the spring nods 142 being inserted into a corresponding locating holes 112 and 134, respectively. The locating holes 121 on each end of the connection pipes 12 are adapted to receive a corresponding extension 113 and 131 therein with the spring nods 114 and 132 inserted into the locating holes 121, respectively.

[0013] The net 2 is pre-set in accordance with the shape of the cage structure frame 1. Two pairs of sealed soft pads 21, 22 are formed on the two sides of the net 2, while a closed soft pads 23 and 24 are formed on the top and the bottom sides of the net 2.

[0014] To assemble the present invention, please referred to FIG. 1, 2 and 3, insert the two supporting pipes 12 through the two sided sealed soft pads 21 and 22, then insert the two extensions 131 from the other end of the soft pads 21 and 22, and insert into the hollow ends of the supporting pipes 12 with the spring nods 132 sand 142 into the locating holes 121, respectively. The open soft pads 23 and 24 of the net 2 are wrapping the cross pipe of the upper pipe 11 and the cross pipe of the lower pipe 13, and buckled with fasteners 3, thus the hockey cage is formed.

Claims

1. A hockey cage comprising a structure frame and a net, wherein

said structure frame comprising an upper pipe, a lower pipe, two supporting pipes and two connecting pipes, wherein said upper pipe and said lower pipe being connected to said supporting pipes, respectively, each of said upper pipe and said lower pip comprising a pair of connecting pipes protruding from a cross bar thereof for connection with said connecting pipes, the connecting areas of each pipe being formed with either spring nods or locating holes for positioning purpose,
said net comprising a pair of sealed soft pads at two sides and a pair of open soft pads at top and bottom ends thereof,
whereas by inserting said supporting pipes into said side soft pads of said net from one end and said upper pipe and said lower pipe into said side soft pads from the other end, and enwrapping said open soft pads to said cross bar of said upper pipe and said lower pipe, then connecting all of said pipes with said spring nods clicking into said locating holes, and said hockey cage is formed.

2. The hockey cage, as recited in claim 1, wherein said open soft pads comprises fasteners to secure said soft pads on said cross bar of said upper pipe and said lower pipe.
