An auxiliary rolling device of a skateboard comprises: a base at the bottom side of the skateboard; a brace, being mounted onto the base; a recession, being disposed on the brace; a shaft rack, being protruded from each of the sides of the recession, and a penetrating hole, being disposed each on the shaft rack, and a shaft passes through the penetrating holes such that the shaft is fixed into a position and both of its ends protrudes out of the shaft rack, and a wheel is mounted onto each end of the shaft. A roller wheel is sheathed into the middle section of the shaft, and the external diameter of the roller wheel is smaller than that of the wheel.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to an auxiliary rolling device of a skateboard, more particularly to a rolling device structure that is disposed at the brace of the skateboard to provide alternate rolling position.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] In general, a conventional skateboard as shown in FIG. 1 comprises a pair of rolling devices at the bottom surface of a board 1, a brace 2, a shaft 3, and a plurality of wheels 4, such that the brace 2 is fixed to the base on the bottom surface of the skateboard, and a shaft 3 is integrally disposed on the brace 2, and the shaft 3 is fixed in a position that it is unable to rotate, and a wheel 4 is mounted onto each end of the shaft 3, and the wheel is generally coupled to the shaft 3 by screws, so that the wheels are free rotating structures. Since the height of the skateboard is determined by the brace and the wheel, it sometimes will touch the stair-shaped ground (not necessary a level ground) when it is in use. At that moment, the wheels cannot be put into use, and the user generally needs the jumping technique to lift the skateboard up successfully and skates it to a higher land. If the user cannot successfully lift the skateboard, the brace will hit the vertical surface of the protruding corner at where the wheels are not disposed, and the friction thus produced immediately blocks the traveling of the skateboard. Furthermore, when the skateboard is in motion, certain special performance needs to use the protruded part at the sliding area or the track for sliding instead of using the wheels, and the bottom surface of the brace is used for the contact. If the contact is not smooth, then it makes the user to lose his/her balance, and may hurt the user or damage the structure of the skateboard due to the poor sliding. The user is unable to have a perfect performance for a better result; therefore in order to have a more practical item for the actual need, the inventor performed research and development to solve the problem of the prior art application.

[0005] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an auxiliary rolling device of a skateboard, having an auxiliary rolling device disposed on the brace of the skateboard, such that the brace of the skateboard no longer has a direct friction with its body, but has it on the roller instead. Such arrangement allows the regular sports lovers and performers of the skateboard to have other choices.

[0006] To accomplish the aforementioned objective, the structure in accordance with the present invention comprises a base at the bottom side of the skateboard; a brace, being mounted onto the base; a recession, being disposed on the brace; a shaft rack, being protruded from each of the sides of the recession, and a penetrating hole, being disposed each on the shaft rack, and a shaft passes through the penetrating holes such that the shaft is fixed into a position and both of its ends protrude from the shaft rack, and a wheel is mounted onto each end of the shaft. A roller is sheathed into the middle section of the shaft, and the external diameter of the roller is smaller than that of the wheel.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0013] Please refer to FIG. 2, FIG. 3, and FIG. 4. The auxiliary rolling device of a skateboard 5 in accordance with the present invention comprises a panel 50 for footrest, and a base 51 being disposed at the bottom side of the panel 50, and the base 51 allows a plurality of screws to pass through the holes of the board body, and then through the hole at the edge of the board at the base and finally fixed by screws. In FIG. 2, it only shows the position of the holes and the status when it is fixed. There is a brace 6 at the bottom surface of the base 51, and a middle post screw 52 being disposed on the base 51. After the middle post screw 52 passes through a penetrating hole 62 of an ear 61 of the brace 6, a nut 53 is used to fix the threaded portion of the middle post screw 52, and the middle post screw 52 is coupled to a washer 52 and a cushion plate 55 for the purpose of vibration resistance. The brace 6 comprises a recession 60, and a shaft rack 63 is protruded from both ends of the recession 60. A penetrating hole 64 is disposed on the shaft rack 63, and the penetrating hole 64 allows a shaft 10 to pass through, such that the shaft is fixed into a position, and a threaded portion 13 is disposed at the middle of the shaft proximate to its end, and is fixed by a nut 14. Further, each end of the shaft 10 protrudes from a shaft rack 63, and a wheel 11 is mounted onto each end of the shaft 10, and a roller 12 is pivotally coupled to the recession 60 at the middle of the shaft 10. The roller 12 is sheathed onto the shaft 10 with a diameter smaller than the wheel 11, and the roller is disposed at the brace 6 of the front wheel of the skateboard. The width of the roller 12 is greater than that of the wheel in order to expand the contact area.

[0014] In view of the structure described above, the present invention utilizes the expansion of the contact surface for rolling, and adds an auxiliary roller on the brace such that when it hits an obstacle during its moving forward, it enables the roller to perform its rolling mechanism and allows the skateboard to continue to move forward successfully, and even passes through the obstacle without falling resulted from being stuck and stopped. In the event of certain special performance, the performer can use this auxiliary rolling device to accomplish the difficult movement more successfully and more smoothly. Unlike the prior art mechanism, the present invention provides better practicability.

Claims

1. An auxiliary rolling device of a skateboard, comprising:

a base, being disposed at the bottom side of the skateboard;
a brace, being mounted onto the base;
a recession, being disposed on the brace;
a shaft rack, being protruded from each side of the recession, and a penetrating hole, being disposed each on the shaft rack;
a shaft passes through the penetrating holes such that the shaft is fixed into a position and both ends protrude out of the shaft rack, and a wheel is mounted onto each end of the shaft; and
a roller is sheathed into the middle section of the shaft, and the external diameter of the roller is smaller than that of the wheel.

2. The auxiliary rolling device of a skateboard as claimed in claim 1, wherein said roller being disposed at the brace for the wheel of the skateboard.
