Combination type bath chair

A combination type bath chair includes a seat, a backrest fixed by two backrest support racks, chair legs each provided with a retractable tube, backrest connecting tubes, and chair leg connecting tubes. When each of the chair legs is mounted on the chair leg connecting tube, the conic portion of the insertion end of each of the chair legs is urged on the conic oblique opening of the urging sleeve of the chair leg connecting tube, so that when each of the chair legs is pressed by a user's weight, each of the chair legs may be supported rigidly and stably, thereby increasing the rigidity and stability of each of the chair legs.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a combination type bath chair, and more particularly to a combination type bath chair that may be assembled, dismantled and packaged easily and conveniently, thereby shortening the volume of package.

[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art

[0004] A conventional bath chair in accordance with the prior art shown in FIG. 1 comprises a seat 1 having two sides each formed with an elongated slot 11, thereby forming a handgrip 12, a backrest 2, two L-shaped backrest tubes 21 each mounted between the seat 1 and the backrest 2, and two inverted U-shaped foot tubes 3 each mounted on the bottom of the seat 1, and each having two distal ends each provided with a retractable tube 4 and a snapping member 31 which may be snapped into any positioning hole 41 of the retractable tube 4, for adjusting the height of the bath chair.

[0005] However, the conventional bath chair structure has the following disadvantages.

The L-shaped backrest tubes 21 and the inverted U-shaped foot tubes 3 are formed integrally, and cannot be folded, so that the seat 1, the backrest 2, the L-shaped backrest tubes 21 and the inverted U-shaped foot tubes 3 have to be dismantled respectively, thereby causing inconvenience in transportation.

[0007] 2. The handgrips 12 are formed by the elongated slots 11 of the seat 1. But the user is not easy to securely grip the handgrips 12, thereby causing difficulty and inconvenience to the user in holding the handgrips 12.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantage of the conventional bath chair.

[0009] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a combination type bath chair, wherein the backrest support racks and the chair legs may be assembled, dismantled and packaged easily, thereby shortening the volume of package.

[0010] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a combination type bath chair, wherein when each of the chair legs is pressed by a user's weight, each of the chair legs may be supported rigidly and stably, thereby increasing the rigidity and stability of each of the chair legs.

[0011] A further objective of the present invention is to provide a combination type bath chair, wherein the handrail may be provided with a soft pad, thereby enhancing the safety of use.

[0012] In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a combination type bath chair, comprising: a seat having a rear side provided with a backrest which is fixed by two backrest support racks, the seat having a bottom face provided with multiple chair legs, each of the chair legs provided with a retractable tube, wherein:

[0013] the bottom face of the seat is secured with backrest connecting tubes and chair leg connecting tubes, each backrest connecting tube has a distal end formed with an elongated hole and secured with an urging sleeve which has conic oblique opening, each chair leg connecting tube has a distal end formed with an elongated hole and secured with an urging sleeve, each of the backrest support racks has a distal end provided with an insertion end that is provided with a conic portion and may be inserted into the backrest connecting tube, each of the chair legs has an upper end provided with an insertion end that is provided with a conic portion and may be inserted into the chair leg connecting tube, and the insertion end of each of the backrest support racks and each of the chair legs is provided with a snapping member;

[0014] when each of the chair legs is mounted on the chair leg connecting tube, the conic portion of the insertion end of each of the chair legs is urged on the conic oblique opening of the urging sleeve of the chair leg connecting tube, so that when each of the chair legs is pressed by a user's weight, each of the chair legs may be supported rigidly and stably, thereby increasing the rigidity and stability of each of the chair legs.

[0015] In accordance with another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a combination type bath chair, comprising: a seat having a rear side provided with a backrest which is fixed by two backrest support racks, the seat having a bottom face provided with multiple chair legs, each of the chair legs provided with a retractable tube, wherein:

[0016] the seat has two sides each formed with an elongated slot each provided with a substantially L-shaped handrail which has a lower side secured on the bottom face of the seat, and a vertical side protruded outward from the elongated slot.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0024] Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 2-5, a combination type bath chair in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a seat 5 having a rear side provided with a backrest 6 which is fixed by two backrest support racks 61. The seat 5 has a bottom face provided with multiple chair legs 8. Each of the chair legs 8 is provided with a retractable tube 81, and has a lower end provided with a snapping member “B” which has a positioning stub protruded outward from a through hole 84 formed in each of the chair legs 8. Each of the retractable tubes 81 is formed with multiple positioning holes 810, so that each of the retractable tubes 81 may be retracted on each of the chair legs 8 freely, thereby adjusting the length of the chair legs 8, so as to adjust the height of the bath chair.

[0025] The bottom face of the seat 5 is secured with backrest connecting tubes 62 and chair leg connecting tubes 7. Each backrest connecting tube 62 has a distal end formed with an elongated hole 65 and secured with an urging sleeve “A”, and each chair leg connecting tube 7 has a distal end formed with an elongated hole 71 and secured with an urging sleeve “A”. The urging sleeve “A” has a port formed with a conic oblique opening “A1” as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5.

[0026] Each of the backrest support racks 61 has a distal end provided with an insertion end 63 that may be inserted into the backrest connecting tube 62. Each of the chair legs 8 has an upper end provided with an insertion end 82 that may be inserted into the chair leg connecting tube 7. Each of the insertion ends 63 and 82 is provided with a snapping member “B” which has a positioning stub protruded outward from a through hole 80 formed in each of the insertion ends 63 and 82. The insertion end 63 is provided with a conic portion 64, and the insertion end 82 is provided with a conic portion 83.

[0027] Thus, by the snapping member “B” mounted in each of the backrest support racks 61 and each of the chair legs 8, when the insertion end 63 of each of the backrest support racks 61 is inserted into the backrest connecting tube 62, and the insertion end 82 of each of the chair legs 8 is inserted into the chair leg connecting tube 7, the snapping member “B” may be snapped into the elongated holes 65 and 71.

[0028] Thus, the backrest support racks 61 and the chair legs 8 may be assembled, dismantled and packaged easily, thereby shortening the volume of package.

[0029] The user may slightly exert a pressure on the backrest support racks 61 and the chair legs 8, so that the snapping member “B” mounted in each of the backrest support racks 61 and each of the chair legs 8 may be snapped into the elongated hole 65 and 71 of the backrest connecting tube 62 and the chair leg connecting tube 7 by the elastic action of the urging sleeve “A”.

[0030] Thus, when each of the backrest support racks 61 and each of the chair legs 8 is inserted into the backrest connecting tube 62 and the chair leg connecting tube 7, the urging sleeve “A” may provide an efficient urging effect.

[0031] In addition, the conic portion 64 and 83 of the insertion end 63 and 82 of each of the backrest support racks 61 and each of the chair legs 8 is urged on the conic oblique opening “A1” of the urging sleeve “A” of the backrest connecting tube 62 and the chair leg connecting tube 7. Thus, when the user is seated on the seat 5, each of the chair legs 8 is pressed by the user's weight, so that the conic portion 83 of the insertion end 82 of each of the chair legs 8 is urged on the conic oblique opening “A1” of the urging sleeve “A” of the chair leg connecting tube 7, thereby increasing the rigidity and stability of each of the chair legs 8.

[0032] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 6, the seat 5 has two sides each formed with an elongated slot 51 each provided with a substantially L-shaped handrail 9 which has a lower side 91 secured on the bottom face of the seat 5, and a vertical side 92 protruded outward from the elongated slot 51.

[0033] When the user exerts a force “F” on the handrail 9, the lower side 91 and the vertical side 92 of the handrail 9 are stopped by the bottom face of the seat 5 and the wall of the elongated slot 51 respectively, thereby providing a reaction force “CF1” and “CF2” to counteract the force “F”. The handrail 9 may be provided with a soft pad, thereby enhancing the safety of use.

[0034] Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.

Claims

1. A combination type bath chair, comprising: a seat having a rear side provided with a backrest which is fixed by two backrest support racks, the seat having a bottom face provided with multiple chair legs, each of the chair legs provided with a retractable tube, wherein:

the bottom face of the seat is secured with backrest connecting tubes and chair leg connecting tubes, each backrest connecting tube has a distal end formed with an elongated hole and secured with an urging sleeve which has conic oblique opening, each chair leg connecting tube has a distal end formed with an elongated hole and secured with an urging sleeve, each of the backrest support racks has a distal end provided with an insertion end that is provided with a conic portion and may be inserted into the backrest connecting tube, each of the chair legs has an upper end provided with an insertion end that is provided with a conic portion and may be inserted into the chair leg connecting tube, and the insertion end of each of the backrest support racks and each of the chair legs is provided with a snapping member;
when each of the chair legs is mounted on the chair leg connecting tube, the conic portion of the insertion end of each of the chair legs is urged on the conic oblique opening of the urging sleeve of the chair leg connecting tube, so that when each of the chair legs is pressed by a user's weight, each of the chair legs may be supported rigidly and stably, thereby increasing the rigidity and stability of each of the chair legs.

2. The combination type bath chair in accordance with claim 1, wherein the user has to slightly exert a pressure on the backrest support racks and the chair legs, so that the snapping member mounted in each of the backrest support racks and each of the chair legs may be snapped into the elongated hole of the backrest connecting tube and the chair leg connecting tube by the elastic action of the urging sleeve.

3. A combination type bath chair, comprising: a seat having a rear side provided with a backrest which is fixed by two backrest support racks, the seat having a bottom face provided with multiple chair legs, each of the chair legs provided with a retractable tube, wherein:

the seat has two sides each formed with an elongated slot each provided with a substantially L-shaped handrail which has a lower side secured on the bottom face of the seat, and a vertical side protruded outward from the elongated slot.

4. The combination type bath chair in accordance with claim 3, wherein the handrail may be provided with a soft pad.
