Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention is related to a quilt, and more particularly to a kickproof quilt structure for children.

[0002] A conventional quilt is an envelope filled with cotton. The quilt serves to cover a user's body to keep it warm. However, after the user totally falls asleep, the user's body will turn or move to displace the quilt from his/her body. Under such circumstance, the user is easy to catch a cold. Especially, children have faster metabolism. This means their body temperature is often higher than that of adults. After covered by a quilt, the higher temperature will make the children more easily kick off the quilt.

[0003] Referring to FIG. 1, a common sleeping bag 90, particularly for a baby, is used to keep a user's body warm when sleeping. Such sleeping bag is a substantially rectangular envelope having an opening 91 on one side. The other three sides are provided with zippers for openably sealing the three sides. The sleeping bag is able to achieve better warming effect. However, the user is likely to sweat when sleeping in the sleeping bag. Therefore, the sleeping bag is subject to molding or stinking. With respect to a baby, it may squirm out of the sleeping bag 90 to catch a cold. On the other hand, the baby may also squirm into the sleeping bag 90 and suffocate.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a kickproof quilt structure which is prevented from being kicked off by a user, especially a child or a baby.

[0005] It is a further object of the present invention to provide the above quilt structure which not only is able to keep a user warm, but also is able to achieve a ventilation effect.

[0006] The present invention can be best understood through the following description and accompanying drawings wherein:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008] FIG. 2 is a front view of a first embodiment of the present invention;

[0009] FIG. 3 is a front view of the first embodiment of the present invention, showing the use thereof;

[0010] FIG. 4 is a front view of a second embodiment of the present invention;

[0011] FIG. 5 is a front view of the second embodiment of the present invention, showing the use thereof; and

[0012] FIG. 6 is a front view of a third embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0013] Please refer to FIGS. 2 and 3. The kickproof quilt structure 1 of the present invention includes a cover section 11, a pad section 12, a pair of first fastening sections 13 and a pair of second fastening sections 14.

[0014] The cover section 11 is substantially rectangular. The middle of a top side of the cover section 11 is formed with a notch 111.

[0015] The pad section 12 has a shape substantially corresponding to that of the cover section 11. The middle of a top side of the pad section 12 is connected with the top side of the cover section 11.

[0016] The first fastening sections 13 are respectively disposed on two lateral sides of the cover section 11. The second fastening sections 14 are respectively disposed on two lateral sides of the pad section 12 corresponding to the first fastening sections 13 to be fastened with the first fastening sections 13.

[0017] The present invention has the following advantages:

[0018] 1. By means of the design of notch 111, during sleep, a user will not squirm out of the quilt.

[0019] 2. The lower side of the quilt is open. In case a user squirm into the quilt, the user is not subject to suffocation.

[0020] 3. By means of the design of first and second fastening sections 13, 14, when a user turns or moves, the quilt will not be displaced away.

[0021] 4. The cover section 11 and the pad section 12 are not entirely connected.

[0022] While keeping the shoulders of a user warm, the user's hands can naturally and easily extend out of the quilt without being bound. Also, a ventilation effect is achieved.

[0023] FIGS. 4 and 5 show a second embodiment of the present invention, in which the quilt structure further includes a pair of third fastening sections 15 and a pair of fourth fastening sections 16. The third and fourth fastening sections 15, 16 are respectively disposed on two lateral sides of the notch 111 of the cover section 11 and spaced from each other by a predetermined distance. After a corner of the cover section 11 is folded, the third and fourth fastening sections 15, 16 on the same side can be fastened with each other. Under such circumstance, the cover section 11 becomes hexagonal and has two openings for achieving better ventilation effect. A user's hands can extend through the openings out of the quilt.

[0024] The cover section 11 or the pad section 12 of the present invention is an envelope composed of two sheets which define an interior space and an opening on one side. A filling such as cotton can be filled into the interior space to achieve better warming effect. Furthermore, referring to FIG. 6, the open side of the cover section 11 is provided with a first sealing section 112 for openably sealing the open side of the cover section 11. The open side of the pad section 12 is provided with a second sealing section 121 for openably sealing the open side of the pad section 12.

[0025] The first and second fastening sections 13, 14 can be buckle sets.

[0026] The third and fourth fastening sections 15, 16 can be buckle sets.

[0027] The first sealing section 112 can be a zipper and the second sealing section 121 can be also a zipper.

[0028] The above embodiments are only used to illustrate the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Many modifications of the above embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
