Elevation-adjustable table

An elevation-adjustable table has a table plate and a seat. A pair of telescopic tubes are installed at each of two sides of the table and connected between the table plate and the seat. Elastic shielding pieces are arranged between a pair of juxtaposed telescopic tubes. Since the shielding piece is telescopic, the shielding piece will change telescopically as the elevation of the table is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic tubes. The shielding piece can be patterned so as to present various outlooks with the change of the length.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to tables, and particularly to a elevation-adjustable table having shielding pieces at two sides for presenting a beautiful outlook.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The conventional tables, such as desks and computers, have a fixed height. Therefore, the table frames at two side of a table are also fixed. To be more convenient, the inventor of the present invention has developed various elevation-adjustable tables. These kinds of tables are very popular and widely used since they have various applications, especially for the children.

[0003] However, the prior art elevation-adjustable table only has telescopic tubes at two sides and thus the design is dull. Therefore, there is an eager demand for a novel design of table which can present a more vivid effect.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide an elevation-adjustable table having a table plate and a seat. A pair of telescopic tubes are installed at each of two sides of the table and connected between the table plate and the seat. Elastic shielding pieces are arranged between a pair of juxtaposed telescopic tubes. Since the shielding piece is telescopic, the shielding piece will change telescopically as the elevation of the table is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic tubes. The shielding piece can be patterned so as to present various outlooks with the change of the length.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0012] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the elevation-adjustable table of the present invention is illustrated. The elevation-adjustable table includes a pair of telescopic tubes 3, 4 (3a, 4a) at each of two sides of the table and connected between the table plate 1 and the seat 2. An elastic shielding piece 5 (5a) between the telescopic tubes 3, 4 (3a, 4a). Since the shielding piece 5 (5a) is telescopic, it will change telescopically as the elevation of the table is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic tubes 3, 4 (3a, 4a).

[0013] In above description, for example, for the telescopic tube 3 (4), each of the telescopic tube 3 (4) includes an outer sleeve 31 (41) and an inner tube 32 (42). The outer sleeve 31 (41) is directly locked to the seat 2 of the table. The inner tube 32 (42) is connected to a bottom of the table plate 1 installed a connecting plate 321. An adjustable stud 33 (43) is used to fix the inner tube 32 (42) and the outer sleeve 31 (41) after adjustment.

[0014] Besides, a back plate 8 is installed between the two telescopic tubes 4 and 4a for firmly fixing the frame of the table not to shake dramatically. Enhancing plates 34, 44 are connected between the two juxtaposed telescopic tubes 3 and 4 for enhancing the strength of the telescopic tubes 3 and 4.

[0015] The way for fixing the shielding piece 5 is that two connecting rods 51, 52 pass through the two edges of the shielding piece 5. Two connecting rods 51 and 52 pass through the two retaining seat 6, 7. Each retaining seat 6 (7) includes at least one seat plate 61 (71) and two juxtaposed sleeve seats 62, 63 (72, 73). The sleeve seats 62, 63 (72, 73) are connected to the telescopic tubes 3, 4. A seat plate 61 is positioned near the table plate 1 and is locked. Another seat plate 71 is positioned near the seat 2 of the table so that the shielding piece 5 may deform with the lengths of the telescopic tubes 3, 4. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.

[0016] In above embodiment, two sleeve seats 72, 73 of each retaining seat 7 are installed with positioning holes 721, 731, respectively. Thereby, the connecting rod 52 may pass through the holes. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the distance between two sleeve seats 72, 73 is slightly smaller than the length of the connecting rod. The retaining seat 7 has a proper elasticity. Thereby, when positioning the connecting rod 52, it is only necessary to bend the seat plate 71 slightly so that the distance between the sleeve seats 72, 73 are increased. Thereby, the connecting rod 52 can be inserted into the positioning holes 721, 731 to present a positioning condition as illustrated in FIG. 6.

[0017] Referring to FIGS. 5, 6, two ends of the connecting rod 52 are cut along the axial direction so as to form the respective buckling portions 521, 522, Thereby, the connecting rod 52 can be firmly secured to the sleeve seats 72, 73. Besides, a connecting rib 74 is used to connect the sleeve seat 72 (73) and the seat plate 71.

[0018] Above mentioned elevation-adjustable table has not only a stronger structure, but also by the elastic shielding piece 5, two sides of the table frame may have many variations when the elevation of the table is adjustable.

[0019] The present invention are thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. An elevation-adjustable table having a table plate and a seat; each of two sides of the table having a pair of telescopic tubes which are connected between the table plate and the seat; an elastic shielding piece being arranged between said pair of telescopic tubes; since the shielding piece is telescopic, the shielding piece will change telescopically as the elevation of the table is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic tubes.

The elevation-adjustable table as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the telescopic tube includes an outer sleeve and an inner tube; the outer sleeve is directly locked to the seat of the table; the inner tube is connected to a bottom of the table plate through a connecting plate; an adjustable stud is used to fix the inner tube and the outer sleeve after adjustment.

The elevation-adjustable table as claimed in claim 1, wherein the way for fixing the shielding piece is that two connecting rods pass through the two edges of the shielding piece; i.e., the two connecting rods are inserted into two retaining seats; each retaining seat includes at least one seat plate and two juxtaposed sleeve seats; the sleeve seats are connected to the telescopic tubes; a seat plate is positioned near the table plate and is locked to the inner tubes; and another seat plate is positioned near the seat of the table.

4. The elevation-adjustable table as claimed in claim 3, wherein two sleeve seats of each retaining seat are installed with positioning holes, respectively, and one of the connecting rod passes through the positioning holes.

The elevation-adjustable table as claimed in claim 1, wherein the distance between two sleeve seats of a retaining seat is slightly smaller than the lengths of the connecting rods; the retaining seats have proper elasticity; thereby, when positioning the connecting rods, it is only necessary to bend the seat plates slightly so that the distances between the sleeve seats are increased; then the connecting rods are inserted into the positioning holes.

6. The elevation-adjustable table as claimed in claim 4, wherein two ends of the connecting rod are cut along the axial direction so as to form the respective buckling portions; thereby, the connecting rod is firmly secured to the sleeve seats.

7. The elevation-adjustable table as claimed in claim 5, wherein a connecting rib is used to connect the sleeve seat and the seat plate.

8. The elevation-adjustable table as claimed in claim 1, wherein a back plate is installed between the two telescopic tubes for firmly fixing a frame of the table not to shake dramatically.
