Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to the locking device of a latticed reinforce member, more specifically to the locking device firmly locking the latticed reinforce member with uniform thickness that is laid under various concrete structures, and firmly laying down the joint materials in the space between the latticed reinforce member and the concrete surface, thus enhancing the adhesion between the joint materials, and the method of reinforcing a concrete construction using it.

BACKGROUND ART

[0002] Generally, concrete reinforcement composites, such as belt-type rods, costal-type rods and spiral-type rods, are laid under within the concrete in order to strengthen various concrete structures. While these reinforcement rods have the merit of being low-cost and possessing appropriate strength, they, however, are not easy to carry or construct with due to their massive weight, needs rust-prevention because the rods rust within the concrete thereby making the concrete to flake off, and cause significant discrepancy in thickness when arranged lengthwise and crosswise.

[0003] The composite supplemented such drawbacks of the iron reinforcing members is the fiber-latticed reinforcing composite disclosed in Korean Patent Application No. 86-6838. The locking device 1 in the prior art that lock this latticed reinforcing composite to the concrete surface is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.

[0004] This locking device 1 is comprised of bolts 2, nuts 3, washers 4 and center (tension) rods 6, but this constitution has some drawbacks such as the troublesome of having to tighten up the nuts 3, the reinforcing composites not being locked tightly and the falling off of reinforcing composites. Also, the drilling of the concrete surface to form a hole for holding the bolt causes the surface to tremble, thus making the positioning inaccurate and carries the added danger of damaging the reinforcement composites.

DISCOSURE OF INVENTION

[0005] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a locking device of a latticed reinforce member using a rivet-type anchor pin that can accurately and firmly lock the latticed reinforce member to the concrete surface by only hitting (tension).

[0006] Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for firmly reinforcing a concrete construction by accurately locking the latticed reinforce member inside the concrete construction by using the rivet-type anchor pin.

[0007] According: to one aspect of the present invention, the locking device of a latticed reinforce member includes a spacer and a rivet-type anchor pin, and the spacer has a groove for inserting reinforcing composite lengthily formed along with the thickness portion, and the anchor pin has a ground plate head formed at its upper portion and a hitting (tension) rod projected at its center. The spacer, in addition, is formed by cement mortar, stainless steel, plated metal, plastics, FRP, etc., and the anchor pin is formed by materials that do not rust, such as stainless steel or plated metal.

[0008] According to another aspect of the present invention, the method for reinforcing the concrete surface by using the locking device comprised of the spacer and the rivet-type anchor pin includes the following steps: step for eliminating laitance and dust on the concrete as well as for water cleaning; step for installing the latticed reinforce member on the concrete surface; step for drilling the concrete surface with a drill machine through a hole for inserting anchor pin on a spacer after attaching the spacer at the corner of the reinforce member; step for inserting the anchor pin through the hole for inserting anchor pin on the spacer and hitting (tensioning) the center hitting (tension) rod so as the lower portion of the anchor pin may expand and then the hitting (tension) rod may be locked on the concrete surface along with the spacer; step for applying the bonding aid onto the concrete surface so as to increase the adhesiveness between the concrete surface and the joint material, and; step for filling the joint material up to the upper portion of the locking device,

BEST MODE FOR CARRING OUT THE INVENTION

[0014] Reference will now be made in detail to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, an example of which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

[0015] FIGS. 3 and 4 are the exploded perspective view and the illustrative view snowing the locking device according to the present invention and the state of it under function. The locking device 10 is comprised of the spacer 11 and anchor pin 12, while the spacer 11 may take the shape of a quadrangle, pentagon or a circle, and the groove for inserting reinforcing composite 13 is lengthily formed at the thickness portion so that the reinforcing composite may be inserted thereto. In addition, a hole for inserting anchor pin 15 is punched at the center of the locking device 11 and a head safer 17 where a head 16 of the anchor pin 12 will be safely seated is formed in the upper portion of the hole. The spacer 11 is made of such materials that do not rust, preferably cement mortar, stainless steel, plated metal, plastic, FRP, etc. Meanwhile, the anchor pin 12, unlike the prior art where it is in the form of bolt/nut, is in the form of rivet. The anchor pin 12 is comprised of a pin body 18, ground plate head 16 and center hitting (tension) rod 19, so that the pin body 18 of the anchor pin 12 is inserted through the hole 15. By hitting the center hitting (tension) rod 19 with the hammer (or the riveter), the head 16 of the anchor pin is seated on the head safer 17 on the locking device and the lower portion of the pin body 18 is expanded and locked on the concrete surface 20 (see FIG. 5). The concrete surface 20, of course, is already drilled through the hole 15 of the locking device 11. The anchor pin 12 is made of materials that do not rust, such as stainless steel or plated metal.

[0016] Now, the method of reinforcing the latticed reinforce member by locking it inside the concrete structure using the locking device according to the present invention will be described in detail step by step by reference to FIG. 5.

[0017] First of all, all alien substances, such as laitance and dust, an the concrete surface 20 is cleaned with highpressure water cleaner. Second, the latticed reinforce member on the cleaned concrete surface 20 is manually held and then the reinforcing composite is inserted inside the groove 13 in the spacer 11. Then,

[0018] the concrete surface is drilled with a drilling machine (not shown) through the hole 15 in the spacer 11 after placing the spacer on the part to be drilled. And, the anchor pin 12 is inserted through the hole 15, and, by hitting the center hitting (tension) rod 19 in the upper portion of the anchor pin with a hammer (riveter), the center rod 19 is expanded and the anchor pin is locked to the concrete surface with the locking device 10. It is preferable to install at least 6 or more locking devices 10 per m2. After installing the locking device, the bonding aid 30 is applied to the concrete surface in order to increase the adhesiveness between the concrete and the joint material 40 to be described below. And, the joint material 40 is filled up to the upper portion of the anchor pin 12 and then the surface arrangement is finally carried. As a result, concrete surfaces according to the steps of the present invention shall be cleanly and firmly repaired and reinforced.

[0019] The locking device according to the present invention uses the rivet-type anchor pin and promptly completes the work only by hitting the center rod, thereby making it highly efficient, and because it firmly locks the latticed portion of the reinforcing composite, the reinforcing composite never falls off from the spacer, and also because it is drilled through a locking device, the drilled location is highly accurate and prevents any damage to the latticed reinforcing composite material by the drill work
