Abstract

The present invention relates to a pad for a computer mouse that is capable of receiving a plurality of sheets of paper for memos and advertisements between an upper plate and a lower plate, thereby achieving an improved advertising effect. According to the present invention, the upper plate and the lower plate are rotatably operated in a hinge-coupling manner, and the lower plate is provided with a receiving part in which the plurality of sheets of paper for memos and advertisements is received.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention generally relates to a pad for a computer mouse, and more specifically, to a pad structure used for a computer mouse with advertising paper or a notebook received therein which is capable of performing a function of writing down memos and telephone numbers or inserting desired advertisements therein.

[0003] A pad for a computer mouse is generally used in a state of being safely placed on the bottom face of the installation for the mouse, for more easy operation and use of the mouse when using a computer and typically made of a resin material having an elastic force. And the pad takes a shape of a square or a circle in a form of a thin board and is safely placed on the bottom face of the installation wherein the mouse is operated.

[0004] Such the pad for the computer mouse is a very simple functional product used only when using the mouse and does not perform any other functions. Until now, therefore, the pad for the computer mouse has exhibited limitations in its practical use and a low efficiency of use.

[0005] On the other hand, most computer users use a separate notebook or memo paper for writing down occasional matters and telephone numbers to be recorded. However, the notebook or memo paper is rarely used in working other than the above during computer work and contrarily, it occupies relatively large area on the desk where the computer work is carried out, thereby making the working area substantially smaller.

[0006] That is, as described in the above, the pad for the computer mouse, the notebook and the memo paper are generally working auxiliary parts needed to computer using workers, but they should be separately disposed in use, thereby making the working area for an office worker substantially smaller. Moreover, it is inconvenient to purchase them separately. Of course, the above problems cause the work efficiency of the office worker to be considerably low.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] It is, therefore, an object of the present invention to provide a pad for a computer mouse with advertising paper and a notebook received therein that is capable of performing functions of writing down telephone numbers and short memos and displaying advertisements as well as providing the area on which the mouse is manipulated, thereby improving an office work efficiency.

[0008] To accomplish the above object, a pad for a computer mouse according to the present invention comprises: a lower plate having edges with a width formed along an outer circumference thereof and a receiving part which is a receiving space for receiving a plurality of sheets of paper on a bottom thereof; and an upper plate which is combined with one end of the lower plate, rotatively operates around the combined part, for the purpose of covering and opening the lower plate and has an upper face on which the mouse operates.

[0009] According to the present invention, it is preferred that the lower plate and upper plate are combined in a hinge-coupling manner to rotatively operate.

[0010] According to the present invention, it is preferred that the receiving part is defined by the bottom face thereof which is formed to have a predetermined thickness from the bottom face of the lower plate and the edges which are formed to have a predetermined width in the inside thereof along the outer circumference of the lower plate and to have a thickness higher than the bottom face of the receiving part.

[0011] According to the present invention, it is preferred that the bottom face of the upper plate is supported by the upper faces of the edges and the upper face of the plurality of sheets of paper received on the receiving part.

[0012] According to the present invention, it is preferred that the plurality of sheets of paper is in the shape of square and the inside walls of the edges for the receiving part are four sides.

[0013] According to the present invention, it is preferred that the upper plate has a folded line parallel to the one side of the inner walls and adheres to the upper faces of the edges up to the folded line and the one end thereof.

[0014] According to the present invention, it is preferred that the upper plate includes a bent-up face bent up and extended to cover the outside walls of the edges along the outer circumference thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0021] The present invention will now be described in connection with the preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0022] As illustrated in FIG. 1, a pad for computer mouse 1 is in a shape of a generally square plate and made of a resin material having a predetermined elastic force or other materials.

[0023] In construction, the pad for the computer mouse is as shown in FIG. 2 comprised of a lower plate 10 that is formed in the shape of a square plate in manner to be safely placed on the bottom of installation for the mouse and accommodates a plurality of sheets of paper 30 for advertisement and memo in the interior thereof and a receiving part 11 that is concavely formed in a predetermined depth on the inner sides of the lower late 10, for receiving the plurality of sheets of paper 30 for advertisement or memo therein. The receiving part 11 is defined by the bottom face 12 and the inside walls of the edges 14 formed along the outer circumference of the lower part 10. The thickness WI of the edges 14 is higher than the thickness ranged from the bottom face 13 of the lower plate 10 to the bottom face 12 of the receiving part 11, thereby forming a receiving space. And, an upper plate 20 which operates the mouse on the upper face 21 thereof is combined to the lower plate 10. At this time, the one end of the upper plate 20 and the one end of the lower plate 10 are combined by means of hinge coupling means, and the upper plate 20 is rotated relative to the lower plate 10. The hinge coupling means is comprised of holes for pin insertion formed on the outside of the one surface of the lower plate 10 and insertion pins formed on the upper plate 20 for the insertion into the pin-inserted holes. In this way, the holes for pin insertion are formed on the upper portion of the edge of the one surface of the lower plate 10, which may be of course formed in various ways.

[0024] According to the present invention, the plurality of sheets of paper 30 for writing down the memo and telephone numbers or on which the advertisements are displayed can be bound on the one sides thereof or separated from each other.

[0025] Additionally, a recess 15 which is, in the shape of a semicircle, extended on the bottom face 12 is formed on the inner wall of the edge 14 corresponding to the side opposite to the side wherein combining means of the lower plate 10 is formed, for the purpose of easily drawing the plurality of sheets of paper 30.

[0026] In addition, on the edges of the outer circumference of the upper plate 20 except the side wherein the combining means is formed, there are provided bent-up sides 22 that are bent to the outside walls of the lower plate 10, that is, the outside walls of the edges 14 in manner to surround the outside walls thereof and extended to the upper plate 20, with a result that the upper plate 20 and the lower plate 10 are secured, as an integral body, to each other.

[0027] Under the above structure, the pad 1 for the computer mouse according to the present invention takes a general mouse pad shape, wherein the lower plate 10 is covered with the upper plate 20, and in case that the upper plate 20 is rotated for writing down memos or telephone numbers or recognizing the advertising phrase, the plurality of sheets of paper 30 that is received in the lower plate 10 is exposed to the outside. As noted in the above, the pad for computer mouse according to the present invention can obtain a high advertising effect and at the same time, provide various functions.

[0029] According to the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 5, the upper plate 20 is fixedly adhered to the upper part of the one side of the edges 14 formed along the outer circumferences of the four sides of the lower plate 10, and in this way, a folded line 23 is formed on the upper plate 20, with a result that the upper plate 20 is rotatable relative to the folded line 23 thereon. The folded line 23 is formed in parallel along the inner wall of the edge adhered to the upper plate 20 and on the whole width of the upper plate 20, such that it can be easily bent without requiring any force at the time when the upper plate 20 is lifted on the one end thereof and rotated.

[0030] Hereinafter, an explanation of the operation and use state of the pad for computer mouse 1 according to the present invention will be described.

[0031] When a computer using worker uses a mouse for an operation of a computer, he places the pad for computer mouse 1 on an installation space such as a desk and then puts the mouse on the upper side of the upper plate 20, thereby providing a typical use condition for the pad for computer mouse 1.

[0032] When it is necessary to record memos and telephone numbers during the above computer work or other works, the mouse safely placed on the upper side of the upper plate 20 of the pad for computer mouse 1 is moved to other place and then, if the upper plate 20 is rotated toward the upper side thereof while the one end of the side opposite to the side on which the coupling means is formed is being grasped, the upper plate 20 is rotated upward from the lower plate 10, with a consequence that the plurality of sheets of paper 30 received on the receiving part 11 is exposed.

[0033] When the plurality of sheets of paper 30 is exposed, the user can immediately write down the memos and telephone numbers. In addition, in case that advertising phrases are inserted on the plurality of sheets of paper 30, the plurality of sheets of paper 30 can be seen whenever the upper plate 20 is opened or covers the lower plate 10 if the upper plate 20 is made of a transparent material, thereby achieving an improved advertising effect.

[0034] Additionally, if the user is to write down desired memos on the immediate page of the plurality of sheets of paper 30, he inserts the end of his finger into the recess 15 and lifts it upward, such that he can easily turn the pages.

[0035] After writing down the desired memos, the upper plate 20 is covered on the lower plate 10 and then, the mouse is safely placed on the upper side of the upper plate 20, for continuously manipulating the mouse for the computer work.

[0036] As clearly discussed in the above, a pad for a computer mouse according to the present invention can be opened to the outside when used for recording memos and telephone numbers and displaying advertisements therein, thereby performing a function of writing down the memos and telephone numbers or emphasizing the advertisement contained therein, in addition to performing a function as a general pad for manipulating the computer mouse, whereby the number of office supplies can be reduced and the business efficiency of an office work can be improved.

Claims

1. A pad for a computer mouse comprising:

a lower plate having edges with a width formed along an outer circumference thereof and a receiving part which is a receiving space for receiving a plurality of sheets of paper on a bottom thereof; and

an upper plate combined with one end of said lower plate and rotatively operating around the combined part, for the purpose of covering or opening said lower plate and having an upper face on which the mouse operates.

2. A pad for a computer mouse as claimed in claim 1, wherein said lower plate and upper plate are combined in a hinge-coupling manner to rotatively operate.

A pad for a computer mouse as claimed in claim 1, wherein said receiving part is defined by the bottom face thereof which is formed to have a predetermined thickness from the bottom face of said lower plate and the edges which are formed to have a predetermined width in the inside thereof along the outer circumference of said lower plate and to have a thickness higher than the bottom face of said receiving part.

4. A pad for a computer mouse as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bottom face of the upper plate is supported by the upper face of the edges and the upper face of the plurality of sheets of paper received on said receiving part.

5. A pad for a computer mouse as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of sheets of paper is in the shape of square and the inside walls of the edges for said receiving part comprise four sides.

6. A pad for a computer mouse as claimed in claim 5, wherein said upper plate comprises a folded line parallel to the one side of the inner walls and adheres to the upper faces of the edges up to the folded line and the one end thereof.

7. A pad for a computer mouse as claimed in claim 1, wherein said upper plate further comprises a bent-up face bent up and extended to cover the outside walls of the edges along the outer circumference thereof.
