Description

[0001] ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A MULTIFUNCTIONAL TABLE FOR INFORMATIC ENVIRONMENT, has as object a practical and innovative model of console, in the field of furniture in general, more precisely to be used in information technology environments, and to which a construction arrangement was introduced in order to improve its use and performance in respect to other models normally found in the market.

[0002] The fundamental principle of the patent in question is a piece of further that was designed and developed in order to achieve a good functionality and that brings great advantages, for in its use as well as its manufacture.

[0003] Another objective of this application is to submit a model of furniture for offices, enterprises or any other user, with low costs for its industrial feasibility, but including rigidity, safety and utility functionality, therefore offering to the consumer public, an additional option in the market of similar pieces.

[0004] As it is well known, the evolution of information technology as a whole, has been changing several things in all segments of our lives, requiring new solutions and pieces of furniture that may arrange the equipment in an easy manner, with full ergonomics.

[0005] As to is known, specially by the technicians of the subject matter, in the present processes the consoles destined to receive information technology equipment are totally inefficient and do not allow the necessary adjustments for the adaptation to each user.

[0006] In the usual form, said common consoles are constituted by a metal frame, to which a table is either welded or attached, having above it one or more platforms.

[0007] The great inconvenient of said models lies specially in the low strength and lack of biotypology studies, that could aggregate to the console all necessary elements to allow a wide range of adjustments and adaptations so that a single console could be individualized with all ergonomic standards and targets.

[0008] It was thinking in such inconveniences that, after several researches and studies, the inventor, a person connected to said segment, created and developed the object of this patent, designing a console for information technology environments where not only the mechanical and operational qualities were considered in its manufacture project, but also the form, layout and location of its different parts and components that, when correctly positioned, brought an greater efficiency, without any extra charges.

[0009] Therefore, this patent was designed with the purpose of building a console with the less possible number of parts, conveniently designed and arranged, in such a way that now submitted piece of furniture could perform its functions with unbeatable efficiency and versatility, without those mentioned inconveniences.

[0010] In this application for patent a practical and innovative model of console for information technology environment is submitted, with all aesthetical and functional qualities, designed and developed as per the latest techniques, therefore allowing a side range of uses, from computerized offices to data processing companies, and its use in any type of information technology environment.

[0011] Its innovating shape allows the reaching of an excellent level of functionality, offering a model of console that has great durability and that was designed specially to allow a perfect placing and positioning of all information technology equipment normally used.

[0012] The configuration of the console, object of this patent, in its new construction, includes a main bode provided with adjustments and adaptations in all points and sectors of the furniture, that offers also mini platforms that may be adjusted in their height, through suspended rails, allowing the positioning of several electronic elements at the user's sight level, among other improvements.

[0013] It should therefore be noticed that this piece of furniture is extremely simple in its construction, easily feasible, but offers excellent practical and functional results in respect to the known models, that are achieved with said innovating construction.

[0014] This model was created with an innovating design, results in an harmonic set with a quite peculiar and typical aspect that, is distinguished by its construction aspect, versatility and easiness of use.

[0015] For a better understanding on the ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A MULTIFUNCTIONAL TABLE FOR INFORMATIC ENVIRONMENT for which the patent is herein applied, we submit the illustrative drawings, where:

[0016] FIG. 1 shows an exploded perspective view of the console table now claimed;

[0017] FIG. 2 shows a lateral view of the console in question;

[0018] FIG. 3 shows a side cross section view of the console;

[0019] FIG. 4 shows an upper view of the console or table;

[0020] FIG. 5 shows a back view of the console or table;

[0021] FIG. 6 shows a bottom view of the console or table;

[0022] FIG. 7 shows a front view of the console or table.

[0023] Following the above listed figures, the “ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A MULTIFUNCTIONAL TABLE FOR INFORMATIC ENVIRONMENT” object of this patent is characterized essentially for being constituted by an “L” shaped frame, formed by the basis or foot (1) and by the vertical column (2).

[0024] The vertical columns (2) are made of “[” shaped metal profiles having elongated holes (3) on its side walls in which “L” shaped hooks (4) will be fitted, in the supporting element (5) of the table or work area (6) that has an arched beveled or vertical border.

[0025] The height positioning or adjustment of the table or work area (6) is achieved by raising or lowering the supporting element (5).

[0026] Said supporting element (5) has, preferably, a trapezoidal shape, that gives it a greater mechanical strength and, as a consequence, offers the possibility of supporting a larger weight on the work area (6).

[0027] The supporting element (5) has also several adjustable stop elements (16) that allow a perfect inclination adjustment of the work area (6).

[0028] Interconnecting the basis (1) and providing a stronger frame reinforcement, there is, in the lower portion of the console, a channel piece (7) formed by a “U” shaped metal profile and respective cover, with the same shape, within which power cables or electrical cables in general may be placed.

[0029] In a vertical position and placed above said channel and cover (7), preferably close to one of the vertical columns (2), there is a vertical pipe (8), preferably of rectangular cross section, that will receive the electric and computer cables and telephone wires that are to be connected to the equipment installed in the console, and that may also contain a series of power outlets, called also “patch panel”.

[0030] In order to provide the now claimed console with a perfect aesthetical and visual harmony, side plates (9) of different shapes and materials are provided, so that the whole set may be adapted to the environment decoration, with said side plates (9) being superposed to the mechanical adjustments and fittings, offering the piece of furniture a highly agreeable presentation.

[0031] The front portion of the table or work area (6) has parallel mini platforms (10) with holes for natural ventilation (11) and with front bristles (12), with independent height regulation through its hook shaped supports (13) that are fit to the horizontal rails (14) that close the back wall of the table and that are parallel, one above the others, and that fit and are fixed to the vertical columns (2).

[0032] Below the rails (14) there is a perforated plate channel piece (15) used to hold sundry cables.

[0033] Among the several points of technical differentiation with the traditional models and the model now submitted, we may point out the following: triangular vertical basis (1), made of metal, quite strong and that, due to their shape and positioning perpendicular to the column (2), allows a greater physical space for the legs and feed of the user, providing further more rigidity and stability, and containing a threaded support that allows a perfect leveling of the table in any floor condition; a totally covered channel piece (7) and respective cover, that allows a perfect protection and channel for cables; side positioning of the vertical pipe 8 face, therefore allowing a side access for the placing and withdrawal of the different power outlets; upper channel or electrical conduit (15) made of rigid material, with only some holes along its length; front bristles (12) in the mini platforms (10) allowing a perfect union between the platforms and the work area (6), among others.

[0034] This descriptive report has shown a new conception of console for information technology environment that offers, as evidenced by the analysis made and by the figures shown, several differences in respect to the conventional models existing in the consumer market, plus technical construction and functional characteristics that are totally different from those inherent to the state of the art. Due to the advantages that it offers and considering the innovating characteristics that fulfill the requirements of novelty and originality in the sector, this “ARRANGEMENT INTRODUCED IN A MULTIFUNCTIONAL TABLE FOR INFORMATIC ENVIRONMENT” has all necessary conditions to deserve the Privilege of Model of Utility.
