Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a corner fastening device, especially to a new one that is suitable for any fastening surface having every kind of shape, which may be a convex or a concave surface, according to the W-type contacting surface on the housing.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] In general, it is convenient and easy to fix a fastened device to a fastening surface by placing the fastened device onto the fastening surface or making use of a fastening design (such as making the seat of the object locked onto the fastening surface). However, if the fastened device needs being hidden or needs getting a wide-angle (ex: a camera, a sensing lump, or a detector, etc), and has to be fastened to the fastening object having a concave or a convex fastening surface, it is easy to damage the fastening surface and the fastened device undergoing assembling or disassembling task, especially for the fastened device encountering problems and requiring repair frequently. Therefore, usage of the fastened device is inconvenient.

[0005] Hence it is a challenging task how to design a fastening device suitable for any fastening surface having different kind of shape and enabling to work in pair with different module unit of fastened devices.

[0006] From what described above, the habitually used arts still have several disadvantages and require improvement.

[0007] The inventor of the present invention ruminated over the disadvantages resulted from the habitually used method of fastening the device on the fastening surface, and earnestly deliberated the way of improvement and innovation. After studying hard for a long period, the inventor eventually succeeded in inventing the present invention, a corner fastening device.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The first purpose of the present invention is to provide a corner fastening device, which can be fastened to an object having an angular or cambered surface, no matter the surface is concave or convex.

[0009] The second purpose of the present invention is to provide a corner fastening device containing a receiving opening, and several position columns thereon inside the structure of the corner fastening device. The corner fastening device can be fastened to the object by locking screws into the position columns.

[0010] The fastening device which can achieve the purposes described above mainly comprises a housing formed in once time which is the principle part of the structure, a receiving opening at one side of the housing, an outward flange along the shape of the receiving opening, a W-type contacting surface having a opening at the lower part formed at the other surface opposite to the surface having the receiving opening. The W-type contacting surface is formed by a pair of first contacting surfaces and a pair of second contacting surfaces following the forming way that the first contacting surface, the second contacting surface, the second contacting surface and the first contacting surface are be connected together in order. The two first contacting surfaces have an included angle of 90 degree between each other in space, or can connect to each other to form a successive cambered surface in space. Besides, at least one position hole is set on each of first contacting surface and second contacting surfaces. The position holes of the second contacting surfaces are arranged in a staggered way. At least one positioning column is set at the both sides inside the housing in the direction of the receiving opening. A locking hole is set on each positioning columns.

[0011] The drawings disclose an illustrative embodiment of the present invention which serves to exemplify the various advantages and objects hereof, and are as follows:

[0012] FIG. 1(A) and (B) are respectively the front side view and the reverse side view of the present invention, a corner fastening device;

[0013] FIG. 2(A) and (B) are the first exemplary diagram of the corner fastening device;

[0014] FIG. 3(A) and (B) are the second exemplary diagram of the corner fastening device; and

[0015] FIG. 4(A)˜(C) are the diagram of the application of the corner fastening device.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0016] Referring to FIG. 1(A) and (B), the corner fastening device provided from the present invention mainly comprises a housing 1 formed in once time, a receiving opening 11 at one side of the housing 1, an outward flange 111 along the shape of the receiving opening 11, a W-type contacting surface 12 having a opening 112 at the lower part at the other side opposite to the one having the receiving opening 11. The W-type contacting surface 12 composes of a pair of first contacting surfaces 121 and a pair of second contacting surfaces 122, wherein the pair of first contacting surfaces 121 have an included angle equal to 90 degrees in space, while the pair of second contacting surface 122 are connected to each other and the included angle between them is 90 degrees. The composing way of the first contacting surfaces and the second contacting surfaces is that the first contacting surface 121, the second contacting surface 122, the second contacting surface 122 and the first contacting surface 121 are connected in order, and the included angle between first contacting surface 121 and the second contacting surface 122 is 90 degrees. Besides, on each first contacting surface 121 and second contacting surface 122, there is a position hole 123, and the position holes 123 are arranged in a staggered way. Besides, a pair of positioning columns 124 are respectively set at both sides inside the housing 1 in the direction of receiving opening 11. A locking hole 125 is set on every positioning column 124.

[0017] Referring to FIG. 2(A) and (B), when the housing 1 of the present invention is fastened to the object 2 (It is assumed that the concave angle is 90 degree of the object 20), the first contacting surfaces 121 can match up with the fastening surface 21 of the concave object 2 with being locked together by the screws 7. Then, by locking the screws 42 to the locking holes 125 of the positioning columns 124, the seat 41, which can be tied in with the flange 111 of the receiving opening 11, of a device 4 can be locked and fastened such that the device 4 connected to the seat 41 can be fastened to the housing 1 of the present invention. Wires 43 (such as power wires or signal wires) revealed outside of the device 4 can be connected outward through the opening 112.

[0018] Referring to FIG. 3(A) and (B), when the housing 1 of the present invention is fastened to the object 3 having a convex surface (it is assumed that the convex angle of the object 3 is 90 degrees), the second contacting surfaces 121 can match up with the fastening surface 22 of the convex object 3 with being locked together by the screws 7. Then, by locking the screws 42 to the locking holes 125 of the positioning columns 124, the seat 41, which can be tied in with the flange 111 of the contacting opening 11, of a device 4 can be locked and fastened such that the device 4 connected to the seat 41 can be fastened to the housing 1 of the present invention. Similarly, wires 43 (such as power wires or signal wires) revealed outside of the device 4 can be connected outward through the opening 112.

[0019] Referring to FIG. 4(A)˜(C), the W-type contacting surface of the present invention can be formed by not only planes, but also cambered surfaces due to variation of the first contacting surfaces 121. For example, the two first contacting surfaces 121 of the housing 8 can be designed to form a successive cambered surface 97 in space, or the two second contacting surfaces 122 of the housing 9 can be connected to each other to form a successive cambered surface 91, or the pair of first contacting surfaces 121 and the pair of second contacting surfaces 122 of the housing 10 can be combined together and respectively form cambered surfaces 81 and 91 , and etc. Thus the object 5 having a convex curved shape or the object 6 having a concave curved shape can be utilized with better flexibility.

[0020] Comparing with other commonly used arts, the corner fastening device provided from the present invention has advantages as follows:

[0021] (1) The structure is simple, more stable and securer.

[0022] (2) The present invention can be formed in once time, and the manufacture cost is lower such that the competitiveness of industry can be risen.

[0023] (3) The present invention is suitable for each object having a concave or convex surface.

[0024] (4) When the fastened device is designed, the present invention can be designed as a part of the fastened device. The fastened device can be disassembled or assembled in the way of changing module units instead of dismounting the whole fastened device as the commonly used arts. Therefore, the present invention is very convenient in view of repair.

[0025] Many changes and modifications in the above described embodiment of the invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
