Activated carpet cleaning brush

Abstract

The present invention is an activated carpet cleaning brush, more particularly an activated hairbrush structure including a hair holder and a plurality of U-shape brush hairs. The U-shape brush hairs densely spread over the hair holder and are hard enough to loosen the surface of a carpet that is flattened by stamping and remove the dust and fluff hidden deeply inside the carpet. The smooth tip of the U-shape brush hairs doesn't damage carpet or form a cross resistance against the carpet to hinder the cleaning work. Moreover, the U-shape brush hairs are capable to brush up the fiber of the carpet, and restore the elasticity and softness thereof and produce an overall reactivated effect on the carpet.

Description

1. FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to an activated carpet cleaning brush, more particularly to an activated cleaning brush capable to increase the hardness of brush hairs for loosening the surface of a carpet that is flattened by stamping and removing the dust and fluff hidden deeply inside the carpet without damaging the carpet or forming a cross resistance against the carpet.

2. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] As shown in FIG. 1, the fiber of a carpet is flattened and loses elasticity and softness when stamped frequently for a long period. Moreover, the dust hidden deeply inside the carpet 20 may cause the growth of bacteria.

[0003] To facilitate cleaning work, ordinary hairbrushes or the hairbrushes attached to the intake of a vacuum cleaner 10 are usually made of soft hairs 11. A brush made of such hairs is capable to remove the dust and fluff on the surface of the carpet 20, but cannot remove the dust and fluff hidden deeply inside the carpet 20. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, a hairbrush 12 made of hard hairs is used for the cleaning work is capable to clean the deep inside of the carpet 20, but may damage the carpet 20. Such brush inserts into the carpet 20 with a right angle to hinder the vacuum cleaner from collecting dust.

[0004] As mentioned above, the prior ordinary hairbrushes or the hairbrushes attached to the intake of a vacuum cleaner are inconvenient for practical use and have disadvantages that need to be improved.

[0005] Based on the aforesaid issues, the present inventor of the patent has being studied and referred to practical experiences and theories for designing and effectively improved the prior arts.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an activated carpet cleaning brush having U-shape hairs spread on the surface of a brush or on a brush head of a vacuum cleaner to replace the prior straight brush hairs. The hardness of the U-shape hairs is high enough to loosen the surface of a carpet that is flattened due to stamping and remove the dust and fluff hidden deeply inside the carpet. The smooth tip of such hairs doesn't damage the carpet or form a cross resistance against the carpet, facilitating the cleaning capability of the vacuum cleaner.

[0007] The second objective of the present invention is to provide an activated carpet cleaning brush the U-shape hairs of which are capable to brush up the fiber of the carpet to restore the elasticity and softness thereof, increase the life thereof and produce an overall reactivated effect on the carpet. Such effect will be better when a vacuum cleaner is used to bring the air to flow through the fiber brushed up by the U-Shape brush hairs.

[0008] To achieve the aforementioned objectives, the present invention provides an activated carpet cleaning brush comprising a hair holder and a plurality of brush hairs bent to a U-shape. Both ends of each set of hairs are fixed on the hair holder so that the U-shape brush hairs are spread over the hair holder to form an activated carpet cleaning brush.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0018] As shown in FIG. 4, the present invention provides an activated carpet cleaning brush applicable to an ordinary brush or a brush head of a vacuum cleaner. Such cleaning brush has a hair holder 30 and a plurality of U-shape brush hairs 31. As shown in FIG. 4a, such brush hairs are bent to a U-shape and is totally different from the prior straight hairs. The U-shape brush hairs 31 are fixed on the hair holder 30 and densely spread over the hair holder 30.

[0019] In this embodiment, two sets of hair holders 30 and U-shape brush hairs 31 are disposed on a housing 40 having a handle 41. One end of the housing 40 has an opening 42 for the collection of dust and fluff, and the hair holders 30 and U-shape brush hairs 31 are disposed on both sides of the opening 42 of the housing 40. The U-shape brush hairs 31 extrude appropriately to the outside of the housing 40. One end of the handle 41 forms a connection part 43 to connect to a pipe of the vacuum cleaner. The activated carpet cleaning brush of the present invention is formed based on the aforementioned structure.

[0020] As shown in FIG. 5, the U-shape brush hairs 31 of the present invention densely spread over the surface of a brush or a brush head of a vacuum cleaner to replace prior straight hairs. The hardness of the U-shape brush hairs 31 is high enough to loosen the surface of a carpet 50 that is flattened due to stamping and remove the dust and fluff hidden deeply inside the carpet. The smooth tip of such hairs doesn't damage the carpet 50 or form a cross resistance against the carpet, facilitating the cleaning capability of the vacuum cleaner.

[0021] As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the U-shape brush hairs 31 are capable to brush up the fiber of the carpet 50 to restore the elasticity and softness thereof, increase the life thereof and produce an overall reactive effect on the carpet 50. Such effect will be better when a vacuum cleaner 60 is used to bring the air to flow through the fiber brushed up by the U-Shape brush hairs 31.

[0022] Based on the aforementioned description, the present invention is capable to restore the touch of the fiber of a carpet that has been pressed and flattened and lost elasticity and softness due to stamping for a long period. The dust hidden deeply inside a carpet may cause the growth of bacteria and is not easily removed with current hairbrushes or brush heads of vacuum cleaners made of soft hairs. Moreover, hard hairs may damage the carpet and insert into the carpet at a right angle and, therefore, hinder the vacuum cleaner from collecting dust. The present invention is capable to improve the aforementioned disadvantages of prior hairbrushes and create value for the industry.

[0023] Although the substantial functions and uniqueness of the present invention has been illustrated and described with reference to the preferred embodiment thereof, it should be understood that it is in no way limited to the details of such embodiment but is capable of numerous modifications within the scope of the appended claims.

Claims

1. An activated carpet cleaning brush, comprising:

a hair holder; and

a plurality of U-shape brush hairs bent to a U-shape, both ends of said U-shape brush hairs being fixed on said hair holder so that said U-shape brush hairs are spread over said hair holder.

2. The activated carpet cleaning brush as cited in claim 1, wherein said hair holder and U-shape brush hairs are disposed on a housing having a handle.

3. The activated carpet cleaning brush as cited in claim 1, wherein said hair holder and U-shape brush hairs are disposed on a brush or a brush head of a vacuum cleaner.
