Description

[0001] Start with the following components:

[0002] Two lengths of ½ inch nylon rope 94 inches long

[0003] Two ½ inch thimbles

[0004] One ½ inch by 3 inch steel ring

DIRECTIONS

[0005] Insert the two ½ inch thimbles onto steel ring and squeeze ends of the thimbles tight.

[0006] Then loop each length of the ½ inch nylon rope around thimble and braid back into rope.

[0007] Then loop opposite end of one length of rope (rope#1) around the other length of rope (rope#2) and braid it back into itself (making a sliding fit).

[0008] Then loop opposite end of rope # 2 around the other length of rope (rope # 1) and braid it back into itself (making a sliding fit)

[0009] The final product ends up like two choke-like ropes.

[0010] #1 rope will pull tight to the left and #2 rope will pull tight to the right to be Self-centering around an object.

[0011] For larger objects use larger size ropes at longer lengths.
