Spectacle case

The present invention relates to a spectacle case having a plurality of sucking attachments in the middle of the bottom of the inside thereof each of which includes an auxiliary separating device. The spectacle lenses are fixed by the sucking attachments to prevent the spectacles from shaking when the spectacle case is moved. Moreover, the frictional contact of the spectacle lenses with the internal side of the spectacle case can be avoided so that the spectacles are well protected. And the auxiliary separating device is used to facilitate the removal of the spectacles from the spectacle case.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a spectacle case, and more particularly, to a device for fixing the spectacles in place to prevent the spectacle lenses from frictional contact with the internal side of the spectacle case.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Most of the conventional spectacle cases include a top cover in pivotable connection with the case body at one side and in engagement therewith at the other side so that the opening and closing action are made easier and the top cover can be stably secured to the case body. In order to save the production cost, this kind of conventional spectacle case is formed in one shape for different kinds of spectacles. In addition, the volume of the spectacle case is slightly greater than the spectacles, even the extra case for glasses of special use is also made so. When the user takes it with him to go out, the spectacles within the case will shake and vibrate with the movement of the case. In order to reduce the frictional contact of the spectacles with the hard spectacle case, thereby creating damage thereof, the inside of the conventional spectacle case 3, as shown in FIG. 8, is fitted with a layer of cotton flannel 31. However, the frictional contact of the spectacles with the spectacle case can't be completely avoided so that the spectacle lenses could be scratched. These are common drawbacks of the conventional spectacle case.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] It is a primary object of the present invention to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide a spectacle case having a plurality of sucking attachments in the middle of the bottom of the inside thereof by which the spectacle lenses are fixed to prevent the spectacles from shaking when the spectacle case is moved. Moreover, the frictional contact of the spectacle lenses with the internal side of the spectacle case can be avoided so that the spectacles are well protected.

[0006] It's another object of the present invention to provide a spectacle case having an auxiliary separating device arranged on each of the sucking attachments to facilitate the removal of the spectacles from the spectacle case.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0016] FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 2 together with FIG. 1, the first embodiment of the present invention contains a case body 1 and a sucking disk 2. The case body 1 is hollow housing with an opening at the top thereof. A top cover 11 is pivotably connected to one side of the opening of the case body 1. The top cover 11 has an engaging projection 111 in the middle of one side of the top cover 11. The case body 1 includes a hook 121 corresponding to the engaging projection 111 of the top cover 11 of the case body 1 and controlled by a press button 12 so that the hook 121 can be engagable on the engaging projection 111 and the top cover 11 is firmly fixed on the case body 1. Besides, the case body 1 has a plurality of receptacles 13 on the bottom of the inner side of the case body 1. An insertion hole 131 with the opening directed upwards is disposed in the center of each receptacle 13 while a sucking member 22 with the opening directed upward is formed at the top of the sucking disk 2. Furthermore, the sucking disk 2 includes a base 21 extending downwards from the center of the bottom thereof

[0017] In assembly, the base 21 of the sucking disk 2 is fitted into the insertion hole 131 of the receptacle 13 until a firmly fixing state is reached so that the sucking disk 2 is stably secured to the bottom inside the case body 1. In use, the spectacle lenses are pressed onto the sucking member 22 of the sucking disk 2 so that the spectacles are fixed in place through the vacuum suction force of the sucking member 22. Hence, the spectacles can be prevented from shaking and vibrating with the movement of the spectacle case, and the spectacle lenses won't be scratched and damaged.

[0018] FIG. 3 shows a sectional view of a second embodiment of the case body and the sucking disk in accordance with the present invention. The receptacle 13 at the bottom of the case body 1 can be replaced by a projecting post 14 while the base 21 of the sucking disk 2 is provided with an insertion hole 211 in the center thereof. The case body 1 and the sucking disk 2 can also be firmly secured in position by means that the projecting post 14 is fitted into the insertion hole 211 of the base 21.

[0019] FIGS. 4 through 6 show different embodiments of auxiliary separating device of the sucking disk in accordance with the present invention. A plurality of separating air holes 221 are well distributed on the sucking member 22 (see FIG. 4) so that air flows into the clearance between the lens and the sucking member 22 when the spectacle lens are pulled upwards. Accordingly, the removal of the spectacles from the spectacle case is made easier. In addition, the sucking member 22 of the sucking disk 2 is provided with at least one side projection 222 (see FIG. 5) extending outwards. A clearance between the lens and the sucking member 22 will be created in pulling the side projection 222, thereby destroying the vacuum suction state and, therefore, facilitating the removal of the glasses. Furthermore, a plurality of indentations 223 are formed at the rim of the sucking member 22 (see FIG. 6) so that airways created by the indentations 223 draw air to flow into the clearance between the lens and the sucking member 22 when they are taken apart. Consequently, the vacuum suction effect disappears to facilitate the removal of the spectacles.

[0020] FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a fourth embodiment of the auxiliary separating device of the sucking disk in accordance with the present invention. This embodiment is derived from the first embodiment of FIG. 1. A connecting strip 23 is provided to connect both sucking disks 2 in a body. Moreover, a plurality of supporting posts 132 are provided around the receptacles 13 in order to enhance the supporting effect for all of the receptacles 13. In use, sucking members 22 of both sucking disks 2 are stabilized in an upright state through the connecting strip 23 between both sucking disks 2 for facilitating the placing of the spectacles on the sucking member 22 without respectively adjusting the sucking members 22 of the sucking disks 2 to the spectacle lenses. Besides, the supporting effect of the sucking disk 2 is much improved by the enlargement of the supporting surface created by the supporting posts 132.

[0021] Many changes and modifications in the above-described embodiment of the invention can, of course, be carried out without departing from the scope thereof. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and the useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.

Claims

1. A spectacle case at least comprising:

a case body with an opening at the top thereof;
a top cover pivotably connected to one side of said case body, said top cover being stably fixed on said case body through a fastening device, thereby creating an accommodation which can be opened or closed;
wherein the improvement is characterized in:
said case body having a plurality of sucking attachments in the middle of the bottom of the inside thereof so that the spectacle lenses are firmly sucked on said sucking attachments so as to prevent said spectacles from shaking and vibrating with the movement of said spectacle case and to avoid a frictional contact of said spectacle lenses with the internal side of said spectacle case.

2. The spectacle case as recited in claim 1, wherein said sucking attachment is a sucking disk.

3. The spectacle case as recited in claim 2, wherein said sucking disks are fixed on said case body in position by means that a projection piece is firmly fitted into an insertion hole.

4. The spectacle case as recited in claim 1, wherein a plurality of separating air holes are well distributed on the surface of said sucking disks.

5. The spectacle case as recited in claim 1, wherein at least one side projection extending outwards is arranged at the rim of said sucking disks.

6. The spectacle case as recited in claim 1, wherein a plurality of indentations are formed at the rim of said sucking disks.
