Ornamental comb assembly

An ornamental comb assembly is made to be one piece and includes a comb and an ornamental crown piece of various artistic designs. The ornamental crown piece is secured to the spine of the comb. The comb can be adapted to comb a user's hair and placed in position to secure a wearer's hair by comb teeth wherein the ornamental crown piece becomes a part of head-dress for ornament.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to an ornamental comb assembly used and worn by ladies, which can be adapted to comb a user's hair. The present invention relates, more particularly, to an ornamental comb assembly which can be readily placed in position to secure a wearer's hair by comb teeth wherein an ornamental crown piece of various artistic designs is secured to the spine of the comb for ornament as a part of head-dress.

[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art

[0004] In our daily life, a toothed comb 10, as shown in FIG. 1, is indispensable for combing hair by its teeth 101. Referring to FIG. 2, an ordinary headband 20 is popular with ladies and young girls, which encircles the forehead of a wearer by both clamping portions 201, and whose front is provided with shining ornamental artistic designs.

[0005] The above-mentioned conventional comb 10 and headband 20 are indispensable and popular, but they can respectively provide single purpose. It causes much trouble for a user if she wants to comb her hair and wear a decorative headband at the same time.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] Accordingly, the present invention is directed to an ornamental comb assembly that can substantially obviate the drawback of known headbands and enhance the aesthetic effects beyond those of conventional combs.

[0007] An object of the present invention is to provide an ornamental comb assembly which can be adapted to comb a user's hair, and which can be readily placed in position to secure a wearer's hair by comb teeth wherein an ornamental crown piece of various artistic designs is secured to the spine of the comb for ornament as a part of head-dress.

[0008] Another object of the present invention is to provide an ornamental comb assembly which is made to be one piece so that it not only is convenient for a user to use and wear but also saves cost.

[0009] To achieve these advantages, an ornamental comb assembly in the present invention is made to be one piece and includes a comb and an ornamental crown piece of various artistic designs. The ornamental crown piece is secured to the spine of the comb. The comb can be adapted to comb a user's hair and placed in position to secure a wearer's hair by comb teeth wherein the ornamental crown piece becomes a part of head-dress for ornament.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0017] Referring to FIG. 3, a preferred embodiment of an ornamental comb assembly 3 in the present invention is one piece item and includes a comb 31 and an ornamental crown piece 32 of various artistic designs. The ornamental crown piece 32 is secured to the spine of the comb 31.

[0018] While being used, referring to FIGS. 4 ,5 and 6, the comb 31 can be adapted to comb a user's hair, and then placed in position to secure a wearer's hair by comb teeth wherein the ornamental crown piece 32 becomes a part of head-dress for ornament. Therefore, it is not only convenient but also practical.

[0019] While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made thereto, and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications which may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Claims

1. An ornamental comb assembly comprising an ornamental comb assembly being one piece item and having a comb and an ornamental crown piece of various artistic designs, said ornamental crown piece being secured to the spine of said comb, while being used, said comb being adapted to comb a user's hair and then being placed in position to secure a wearer's hair by comb teeth wherein said ornamental crown piece becomes a part of head-dress for ornament.
