Abstract

An inherited weight massage equipment comprised of a convex arch member in length, width and strength approximately equal to the height, the waist and the weight respectively of an average person; having its arc surface of a given curvature to be held in place by both end edges of the arch member; and the arc surface being sufficient to bear the weight of at least one person to lie on his/her back or stomach to exercise stretch or compression massage; a mat made of resilient material paved on the arc surface; a frame comprised of a pair of connection rods, a pair of hand rests and four posts being pivoted to the arc surface; and a press belt having multiple nipples being adapted between those hand rests.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention is related to inherited weight massage equipment, and more particularly to one that allows general massage for both genders and all ages solely on their body weight thus is free of possible injury from external force.

[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Most of health care equipment generally available in the market today include various types of fitness equipment and massage equipments. Usually, the fitness equipment works by repeating applying external force on a local part of one's body while a massage equipment achieve its purpose of massage with power driven, e.g. a vibrator, or without any power as its user has to massage with own efforts. The use of the fitness equipment, considered as power equipment, usually winds up in massive sweats and high oxygen consumption, which is preferred only by the male and certainly not ideal for the female, the child or the aged. On the contrary, the massage equipment works only for a small part of one's body and is very awkward for one who tries to massage his/her back waist on the back, hip or abdomen since he/she has to spare one hand to hold the massage equipment. One could easily get injuries in case of bad choice of fitness equipment or massage equipment, particularly on considering that such selection varies depending on the user, timing and location. Furthermore, a vibrator works only for a small part on one's body. It fails to provide its function to those who, particularly the aged, suffer sour waist and/or back.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a massage equipment that is ideal for both genders and any age group disregarding individual weight and height. It works by the inherited weight of the user and allows reaching one's back, waist on the back, hip and abdomen where is difficult to access by the conventional fitness or massage equipment for a safe and gradual massage. The present invention is characterized by the absence of possible injury from external force and the user may determine the increment of amount and time length of massage depending on his/her physical condition.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

[0016] Referring to FIG. 1, a first preferred embodiment of the present invention is comprised of a convex arch member (1) in length approximately equal to the height of an average person, in width approximately equivalent to that of one's body and in strength sufficient to support the weight of an average person. Wherein, the arch member (1) has its arc surface (10) held in place by both of its end edges (6) firmly secured on the ground. Said arc surface (10) is sufficient to bear the weight of at least one person. A user may lie on the arc surface (10) by compromising the arc of the arc surface (10) either on his/her back or stomach. In either position, the user exercise stretch or compression solely by talking advantage of his/her weight to alternatively repeat both of said positions to massage his head (4), neck (48), spine (49), legs (46) and feet (44) as illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6. As illustrated in FIG. 2, a second preferred embodiment of the present invention further includes a piece of a mat (12) made of resilient material and paved on the arc surface (10) to serve as a buffer; or a pair of rods (11) is pivoted to each end edge of the arch member (1). Also referring to FIG. 3, ends of said two pairs of rods (11) are then jointly pivoted to a frame (3). Multiple insertion holes (34) are provided on both ends of the frame (3) at where incorporated with the arch member (1) so to fix it at a given arc as desired.

[0017] Said frame (3) further includes a pair of connection rods (2), a pair of hand rests (32) and four posts (30) vertically adapted to one other. Within, multiple insertion holes (34) are also provided on said pair of connection rods (2) at where in relation to the location of said two pairs of insertion rods (11) at the end edges of the arch member (1) adapted to join the arch member (1). In practice, both of said hand rests (32) are adapted to help the user to get up from the arch member (1) either lying on back or on stomach. A pair of lateral bars (5) may be further provided below their respective hand rests (32) as reinforcement to the strength of the frame (3) as illustrated in FIG. 4. Now referring to FIG. 7, the frame (3) comprised of the pair of connection rods (2), the pair of hand rests (32) and those four posts (4) may not be incorporated to the arch member (1). Instead, a press belt (7) is fastened to the pair of hand rests (32) for the user to execute massage on his back. Within, multiple nipples (8) are provided on the surface of said press belt (7) to improve massage effects.

Claims

1. An inherited weight massage equipment comprised of a convex arch member in length, width and strength approximately equal to the height, the waist and the weight respectively of an average person; having its arc surface of a given curvature to be held in place by both end edges of the arch member; and the arc surface being sufficient to bear the weight of at least one person to lie on his/her back or stomach to exercise stretch or compression massage.

2. An inherited weight massage equipment of claim 1, further comprising a mat paved on the arc surface to serve as a buffer.

An inherited weight massage equipment of claim 1, wherein, further comprising a pair of insertion rods pivoted respectively to both end edges of the arch member; those two pairs of insertion rods being joint pivoted to a frame at their lower ends; and multiple insertion holes being disposed on the frame at where in relation to those two pairs of insertion rods to provide a given curvature to the arch member.

An inherited weight massage equipment of claim 3, wherein, the frame includes a pair of connection rods, a pair of hand rests and four posts adapted vertically and multiple insertion holes of equal number being respectively disposed on the pair of connection rods at where in relation to both pairs of insertion rods of the arch member.

5. An inherited weight massage equipment of claim 4, wherein, the frame comprised of a pair of connection rods, a pair of hand rests and four posts adapted vertically is not incorporated with the arch member; instead, a press belt being adapted to where between the pair of hand rests.

6. An inherited weight massage equipment of claim 5, further comprising multiple nipples on the surface of the press belt.

7. An inherited weight massage equipment of claim 4, further comprising multiple lateral bars as reinforcements to the frame adapted vertically by the pair of connection rods, the pair of hand rests and those four posts.
