Abstract

A bag shaped as a mitten or a glove with a zip type closure means along its opening lip for grabbing and inclosing an object in a quick and easy motion without touching the object with one's bare hands.

BACK GROUND FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001] The invention of this application relates to bags with closure means. It specifically relates to bags with a zip type closure. This invention offers a mitten or glove shaped bag with a zip closure mechanism.

BACK GROUND PRIOR ART

[0002] Many types of bags, different types of mitten and glove shaped bags, and many types of permanent and resealed bag closure mechanisms have been introduced to the market place, but none of the prior art introduced a mitten or a glove shaped bag incorporating a closure mechanism in general and a zip type closure system specifically.

OBJECTS AND ADVANTAGES

[0003] To provide a bag that combines the grabbing advantages of a mitten shaped bag with the advantages of a closure mechanism in general and a zip closure mechanism specifically. The mitten or glove shaped bag, turned inside out, can be placed on a person's hand. The person can grab an object with the mitten or glove shaped bag without touching it with their bare hand. Then, the person can turn the bag outside out with their second hand, and seal the zip closure in order to contain the object in the bag. This is easier and more cost effective than using a glove or a scoop to grab an object and a separate bag to enclose it as is done today. The mitten or glove shaped zip bag can be used to collect litter, food, forensic material, as well as many other objects.

OPERATION FIG. 1

[0009] Mitten shaped bag (10) is turned inside out, and inserted on a human's hand. Then, the human is grabs any desired object with the mitten shaped bag (10). Next, while holding the object, the human turns the mitten shaped bag (10) outside out and seals the zip type closure using their second hand.

[0011] Accordingly, the reader can very easily see the advantages and the novelty of the mitten or glove shaped zip bag. It allows for a quick, easy, efficient, and cost effective manner for grabbing and enclosing of an object.

[0012] The bag of this invention may be made of many materials. The preferred embodiment is a mitten, but it can be a glove as well. The preferred closure mechanism is a zip type closure, but it may be, hook and loop, adhesive strip, or any other type of permanent or resealed closure mechanism.

Claims

1. A mitten or glove shaped bag with a closure means along its opened lip.

2. Said closure mechanism of claim 1 may be of a permanent nature or one

which can be reopened and resealed several times.

Whereby, said mitten or glove shaped bag of claim 1 can be turned inside out, placed on a human's hand, and used to grab an object. Then, said mitten or glove shaped bag of claim 1 can be turned outside out, removed off the hand and sealed with said closure means of claim 1.
