Fitness apparatus for chest expansion and tension pulling

A fitness apparatus for chest expansion and tension pulling mainly includes an arcuate support board, two oscillating rod bodies and one or more than one elastic bodies, wherein the central area on the external portion of the arcuate support board is soldered with an axle seat provided for pivotally conjoining two rotary pivot housings at the rear ends of the two oscillating rod bodies; two cotters respectively and pivotally position the two oscillating rod bodies onto the axle seat. The front end of the oscillating rod body is a grip rod while the middle rear segment thereof is disposed with a bush for housing one or more than one elastic bodies. When in operation, the arcuate support board pushes against and positions at the user's abdominal portion providing a stable point for force exertion. Therefore, the two oscillating rod bodies elastically expand and close in a smooth operation to avoid sport injury and sway so as to increase stability and correctly implement tension.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1) Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a fitness apparatus for chest expansion and tension pulling, more especially to a fitness apparatus for chest expansion, arm exercise and abdomen tightening with a stable and supporting center of gravity for force exertion to avoid sway and increase stability during the operation so as to correctly implement tension.

[0003] 2) Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Accordingly, a pulling rope used for chest expansion exercise usually has one or more than one elastic elements, such as an elastic rope or a spring disposed between two hand pulling rings. When in use, both hands pull the rope outwardly to stretch the elastic element thereby increasing the bearing force to open both arms for chest expansion and arm trimming.

[0005] Since the pulling rope is suspended for operation, the problem of hard to control the force exertion occurs. It might cause sport injury if the force is exerted when the rope is grabbed incorrectly. Therefore, many consumers hesitate in using a conventional pulling rope for exercise.

[0006] In view of the incapability of the conventional pulling rope in meeting the need of practical application, the inventor of the present invention designed a brand new fitness apparatus for chest expanding and tension pulling.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a fitness apparatus for chest expansion and tension pulling with high safety and easy operation through positioning the present invention at the user's abdominal portion to obtain a preferred and fixed point for exerting force so as to achieve smooth operation and avoid sport injury.

[0008] Another objective of the present invention is to stretch a pair of positioning hook and loop band of an arcuate support board backwardly to circle around the user's abdominal portion for adjusting the arcuate support board to position at the best location for application and to facilitate the stable operation of the present invention.

[0009] To enable a further understanding of the structure, operation and features of the present invention, the brief description of the drawings below is followed by the detailed description of the preferred embodiment.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] FIG. 1 is a perspective drawing of the external configuration of the present invention.

[0011] FIG. 2 is an exploded and perspective drawing of the present invention.

[0012] FIG. 3 is a bird's-eye view and plane drawing of the application of the present invention.

[0013] FIG. 4 is another perspective drawing of adding bearing force to the present invention.

[0014] FIG. 5 is a perspective drawing of the practical implementation of the present invention.

[0015] FIG. 6 is a perspective drawing of another practical implementation of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention comprises an arcuate support board (1), two oscillating rod bodies (2) and one or more than one elastic bodies (3), wherein, the inner lateral plane of the arcuate support board (1) is disposed with a soft pad (11) for enhancing comfort to the location where the arcuate support board (1) contacts the user's abdominal portion; of course, the arcuate support board (1) can be unitarily molded to have a plurality of protruding massage beads (14) not only for the fitness function, but also for increasing the massage effect. The central area on the external portion of the arcuate support board (1) is soldered with an axle seat (12) provided for pivotally conjoining two rotary pivot housings (22) at the rear ends of the two oscillating rod bodies (2); two cotters (13) respectively and pivotally position the two oscillating rod bodies (2) onto the axle seat (12). The oscillating rod bodies (2) pivotally rotate by using the cotters (13) at the rotary pivot housings (22) as supporting points. The front end of the oscillating rod body (2) is a grip rod (21) bending upwardly and sleeved with a guarding cover (211) for reducing friction on the hands. A bush (23) is disposed at the middle rear segment of the oscillating rod body (2) for inserting the elastic body (3). A bolt (231) secures the bush (23) and the elastic body (3) for positioning the elastic body (3) between the two oscillating rod bodies (2).

[0017] Referring to FIGS. 3, 5 and 6, a pair of positioning hook and loop bands (4) is disposed on the arcuate support board (1) to circle backwardly; when using the fitness apparatus for chest expansion and tension pulling, the pair of positioning hook and loop band (4) is first circled around the user's abdominal portion thereby adjusting and positioning the arcuate support board (1) at the best application position; therefore, the user's hands respectively hold the grip rods (21) and then pull the arms outwardly to stretch the elastic bodies (3) to deform so as to achieve the effect of chest expansion, abdomen exercise and arm trimming.

[0018] Furthermore, referring to FIG. 4, one or more than one elastic bodies (3) are disposed on the fitness apparatus for chest expansion and tension pulling to provide different exercise bearing resistance according to the user's personal needs.

[0019] According to the abovementioned description, it is obvious that the present invention of a fitness apparatus is positioned at the user's abdominal portion for obtaining a preferred and fixed force exerting point to facilitate the operation and eliminate the danger of causing the whole body to fall off due to loose hands.

[0020] It is of course to be understood that the embodiment described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
