[0021] A first preferred embodiment of a wind-hole device of a ventilator for an air-conditioner in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, includes a wind hole base 2, a drive device 3, a pipe holder 4 and at least one swing member 21 as main components combined together.

[0022] The wind-hole base 2 is provided inside with a wind outlet 20 having plural insert holes 200 respectively bored in the opposite sidewalls, plural vertical separating plates 201 positioned in the interior and at least one swing member 21 pivotally fitted inside for adjusting the direction of wind blowing. The swing member 21 has a pivotal shaft 210 protruding out on opposite outer sidewalls, conforming to the insert hole 200 in the opposite sidewalls of the wind-outlet 20 and respectively having an insert hole 211 in the center. The wind-hole base 2 has a motor holder 22 fixed at a proper location on one side and plural combining holes 23 spaced apart in the top surface, and is paved with a thermo-maintaining material 6.

[0023] The drive device 3 is connected with the swing member 21, composed of a motor 30 threadably positioned on the motor holder 22 of the wind hole base 2. The motor 30 has its spindle fitted with a transmitting rod 32 by means of a first fit member 31, and the transmitting rod 32 has the other end connected with the swing member 21 by means of a second fit member 33 for driving the swing member 21 to change its swinging direction automatically. Besides, the first and the second fit member have their outer ends respectively clasped firmly by a retaining ring 34 for preventing related components from slipping off. Additionally, the number of the transmitting rod 32 and the second fit member 33 of the drive device 3 can be adjusted to conform to the number of the swing member 21 fitted inside the wind outlet 20.

[0024] The wind pipe holder 4 to be threadably assembled on the wind-hole base 2 is bored with a plurality of combining holes 40 spaced apart in the peripheral surface to be combined with the combining holes 23 of the wind-hole base 2 by bolts 41. Further, the wind pipe holder 4 is formed with at least a through opening having an engage edge 42 on the inner wall.

[0025] In assembling and using, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, firstly, the swing member 21 has its opposite protruding-out pivotal shafts 210 inserted correspondingly in the insert holes 200 in the opposite sidewalls of the wind outlet 20.

[0026] Then, the insert hole 211 of the pivotal shafts 210 of the swing member 21 is fitted with the second fit member 33 of the drive device 3, and the second fit member 33 is pivotally assembled with the transmitting rod 32, which is pivotally connected with the spindle of the motor 30 by means of the first fit member 31. Thus, the transmitting rod 32 is driven by the motor 30 to actuate the swing member 21 to swing to and fro.

[0027] Subsequently, a wind pipe 5 is fitted with the through opening 42 of the wind pipe holder 4, which is then assembled on the wind-hole base 2 by bolts 41 to finish assembly of the wind hole base 2, as shown in FIG. 4. After that, this wind-hole base is installed on the ceiling of a room. Thus, the motor 30 of the drive device 3 starts to drive the transmitting rod 32 to actuate the swing member 21 to swing to and fro via the second fit member 33 and alter its swinging direction, as shown in FIG. 5, able to enlarge an area of wind blowing and having effect of cooling a room all over.

[0028] A second preferred embodiment of a wind-hole base of a ventilator for an air-conditioner in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 6, includes a wind-hole base 2 provided inside with a wind outlet 20 and at least one swing member 21. The wind outlet 20 is bored with plural insert holes 200 respectively in the opposite sidewalls for the pivotal shafts 21 of the swing member 21 to be inserted therein and plural vertical separating plates 201 spaced apart in the interior. The swing member 21 is driven by the drive device 3 to adjust the angle and the direction of wind blowing, having a protruding-out pivotal shaft 210 with a center insert hole 211 secured on the opposite ends.

[0029] The drive device 3 consists of a motor 30, a first fit member 31, a transmitting rod 32, a second fit member 33 and a retaining ring 34. The wind hole base 2 is disposed with a motor holder 22 at a proper location on one side for fixing the motor 30 of the drive device 3, and a windpipe connector 24 on top having one or more through openings 240 matching with the wind outlet 20 of the wind-hole base 2 for connecting a windpipe 5. Besides, the wind-hole base 2 is paved with a thermo-maintaining material 6.

[0030] A third embodiment of the wind hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, includes a face plate 7 bored with one or more wind holes 70 having a wind hole base 2 disposed thereon. The wind hole base 2 has its wind outlet 20 pivotally fitted inside with swing members 21 connected with a drive device 3 and driven to adjust direction of wind blowing, with the wind hole 70 of the face plate 7 communicating with the wind outlet 20 of the wind hole base 2. The wind hole base 2 is connected with a windpipe 5 on top and paved with a thermo-preserving material 6. Further, the wind hole base 2 and the face plate 7 can be respectively an independent component, as shown in FIG. 10, or are formed integral so as to match with indoor decoration, facilitating work in installation and having effect of cooling a room all over with quickness.

[0031] Specifically, the wind outlet 20 of the wind hole base 2 can be provided inside with at least one swing member 21, which, by means of a second fit member 33 and a second transmitting rod 32 pivotally connected with a first transmitting rod 32, can be connected with a second swing member 21, with the two swing members 21 driven to swing synchronously by the drive device 3.

[0032] A fourth preferred embodiment of a wind hole base of a ventilator for an air conditioner in the present invention, is to have the two swing members 21 disposed reverse to swing oppositely, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, and the motor 30 of the drive device 3 is assembled on an outer sidewall of the wind hole base 2, corresponding to the ends of the swing members 21. The motor 30 has its curved spindle fitted with a first fit member 31 and inserted through the two transmitting rods 32, which have their other ends respectively extend outward and pivotally connected with the two swing members 21 by means of second fit members 33. The two swing members 21 are positioned oppositely in order to enable them to send out cold wind in opposite directions and at different angles to enlarge an area of wind blowing.

[0033] While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
