The playing spaces forming the track are designated location playing spaces. Each of the location playing spaces is assigned a unique game location and having indicia indicating the unique game location of the respective location playing spaces. Each of the track playing spaces being having unique playing instructions displayed therein. Each player is assigned a playing piece. A plurality of sequential player turns are performed comprising rolling a die, moving a playing piece of the player a number of track spaces corresponding to the value rolled on the normal die, performing the instructions displayed on the track space on which the playing piece terminates its move on, performing the instructions of the steps of the game card should a player terminate its move on the game card space. The first player to complete performance of all the instructions of all the steps of the game is declared the winner.

[0031] In closer detail, the moto-cross/supercross board game is designed for a plurality of players preferably between two and four players. With reference to FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, the game is played on a generally square game board having a generally square perimeter with a plurality of generally square playing spaces woven through out the board in the shape of a moto-cross/supercross track as best seen in FIG. 1.

[0032] The playing spaces forming the track are designated location playing spaces. As best illustrated in FIG. 2, each of the location playing spaces is assigned a unique game location (such as a slam space and a sx card space)and has indicia indicating the unique game location of the respective location playing spaces. As illustrated in FIG. 2, each of the track playing spaces has unique playing instructions displayed therein. Some examples of track playing spaces include: a “stuck in gate lose one turn” track space; “missed a shift back two”, “sx card”, “brake to early back two”, track space; “hooking up ahead five”, “inside line ahead three”.

[0033] Also in the game are a plurality of playing pieces each representing a unique player. Preferably the plurality of playing pieces comprises four playing pieces.

[0034] With reference to FIGS. 4, and 5, the game includes a deck of game cards. As best shown in FIG. 5, on the back of each game card is a set of instructions. Each card having a unique set of instructions displayed on for a player to perform.

[0036] The game is played by performing a plurality of sequential player turns with the players performing alternating turns. Each player turn comprising the acts of rolling a normal die, and then moving the playing piece a number of track playing spaces corresponding to the value rolled on the normal die. As the turns are played, the players move along the track playing spaces to perform the instructions displayed on the track space on which the playing piece terminates its move on.

[0037] When the playing piece terminates a move on the “stuck in gate” space, the playing piece looses a next subsequent turn.

[0038] When the playing piece terminates a move on the “sx card” space, a card is drawn and the player of the playing piece on the sx card space performs the instructions displayed on the card.

[0039] Below are further details and specifics of this moto-cross/supercross game:

[0040] OBJECT OF THE GAME: The object of the game is to race your opponent (s) around the game track and to be the first player to land on the “finish line” space, ultimately making you the winner.

[0041] PLAYERS: 2 to 4 players.

[0042] THE GAME: The game itself will come in a square box designed to hold the game.

[0043] CONTENTS: The game will come with four mini dirt bike figurines as playing pieces, a die and game cards.

[0044] HOW TO PLAY STANDARD PLAY RULES: Each player chooses a playing piece. Each player then rolls the die, once each. The player that rolls the lowest roll as determined by the normal die, starts first. Follow clockwise from first player moving the playing piece the number of spaces as indicated on the normal die. If the playing piece terminates a move on a yellow or green space, follow the instructions on the space. If a player terminates a move on a blue space, player picks a card from the game card deck and follows the instructions on the card. Then place the game card on the bottom of the deck. Any player sent back or forward by another player that lands on any colored space does not use the instructions on that space. If a player lands on a red space that is already occupied by another player he/she slams him back six spaces. If the slammed player lands on any color space do not use the instructions on that space. The first player to roll exactly and land on the finish line space wins. You must land exactly on the finish line space to win. You can race more than one lap. You can only slam from behind and if a slammed player rolls a six, he/she slams you right back. Not all game cards are helpful.

[0045] RULES FOR CRAZY PLAY: The same rules apply as standard play except you get full use of the spaces you are knocked back to and moved forward to by other players.

[0046] NOTE: The board itself will represent the moto-cross/supercross track. Each colored space will represent a unique jump, turn and track playing space. Not all of the track playing spaces have instructions, some are blank.

[0047] As to a further discussion of the manner of usage and operation of the present invention, the same should be apparent from the above description. accordingly, no further discussion relating to the manner of usage and operation will be provided.

[0048] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specifications are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.

[0049] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications may be resorted to, falling within scope of the invention.
