The frame 11 or 11′ has a horizontal coupling groove 14 at an inner side near the top. The rectangular metal top frame 20 is horizontally connected between the pedestals 10 and 10′, having two opposite short sides respectively fitted into the horizontal coupling grooves 14 of the pedestals 10 and 10′ and fixedly secured thereto by screws 21. The main desk top 30 is a rectangular flat plate made of, for example, glass, and mounted within the rectangular metal top frame 20. The keyboard rack 40 is fixedly provided at the bottom side of the top frame 20 on the middle.

[0014] Referring to FIGS. 3A, 3B, 4, and 5, two main desks 1 and 1′ are arranged at right angles, and an auxiliary sector desk 5 is fitted into the contained angle A defined between the main desks 1. The auxiliary sector desk 5 comprises a plurality of metal connecting plates 50, a plurality of horizontal slots 60 formed in the panels 12 and 12′ of the pedestals 10 and 10′ near the top, a metal sector frame 70, and a sector desk top 80. The metal connecting plates 50 are respectively inserted through the horizontal slots 60 in the panels 12 and 12′ of the pedestals 10 and 10′ and connected between the main desks 1 and the metal sector frame 70 to secure the auxiliary sector desk 5 to the main desks 1 and 1′. Each metal connecting plate 50 comprises a horizontal bottom wall 51 supported in one horizontal slot 60, a first horizontal top wall 54 attached to the bottom surface of the rectangular metal top frame 20 of one main desk 1 or 1′, the first horizontal top wall 54 having a plurality of mounting holes 55 respectively fastened to the bottom surface of the rectangular metal top frame 20 of the corresponding main desk 1 or 1′ by a respective screw 56, a second horizontal top wall 54′ attached to the bottom surface of the metal sector frame 70, the second horizontal top wall 54′ having a plurality of mounting holes 55′ respectively fastened to the bottom surface of the metal sector frame 70 by a respective screw 71, and two sidewalls 52 and 53 bilaterally connected between the horizontal bottom wall 51 and the horizontal top walls 54 and 54′. After installation of the metal sector frame 70, the sector desk top 80.is mounted within the metal sector frame 70.

[0015] Further, anti-skid pads 22 and 72 are respectively located on the rectangular metal top frame 20 and the metal sector frame 70 to support the rectangular main desk top 30 and the sector desk top 80 respectively.
