Beehive-like golf bag
A golf bag includes a divider received in an opening of the golf bag to receive therein golf clubs. The divider has a top cover, a bottom cover and multiple tubes securely received between the top cover and the bottom cover. Each tube extends through the top cover and the bottom cover and is so configured that only one golf club is able to be received in a corresponding one of the tubes.
[0001] 1. Field of the Invention
[0002] The present invention relates to a beehive-like golf bag, and more particularly to a golf bag with a beehive-like divider mounted on the opening of the golf bag so that when the clubs are respectively received in the openings in the divider, collision between two adjacent clubs is avoided.
[0003] 2. Description of Related Art
[0004] A conventional golf bag generally has a divider received in the opening of the golf bag and having multiple holes defined in the divider to respectively receive therein clubs. As we know, there are different clubs for different purposes such as wood clubs, iron clubs, putts . . . etc and each kind of club is categorized into subclasses by numbers. With the conventional golf bag, the user just puts the same kind of clubs in the same hole so that it is easy for the user to have the access to the one chosen. However, after playing for a while and the golf bag is moved up and down over the course, the clubs in the same hole might become tangled and thus the user will have to sort out the tangled clubs so as to take out the chosen club. Furthermore, friction between two adjacent clubs will gradually damage the outer periphery of both clubs, which will thus affect the accuracy of driving the ball, as well as spoiling the appearance.
[0005] To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide an improved golf bag to mitigate and obviate the aforementioned problems.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0006] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an improved golf bag with a divider received in the golf bag and having multiple holes defined in the divider to respectively receive therein a golf club so as to avoid the golf clubs becoming entangled.
[0007] Other objects, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS[0008] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the golf bag of the present invention;
[0009] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the divider of the present invention; and
[0010] FIG. 3 is a schematic view of the application of the golf bag, which shows that the divider has a predetermined length to prevent adjacent clubs from becoming tangled.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT[0011] With reference to FIG. 1, the golf bag (10) in accordance with the present invention has a divider (20) securely received in an opening (11) of the golf bag (10) to respectively separate each one of golf clubs (30).
[0012] With reference to FIG. 2, it is noted that the divider (20) has a top cover (22), a lower cover (23) and multiple tubes (24) extending respectively through upper holes (21) of the top cover (22) and lower holes (231) of the lower cover (23). The tubes (24) are securely received between the top cover (22) and the lower cover (23). It is to be noted that each of the upper holes (21) has a dimension corresponding to a dimension of each one of the lower holes (231) and the dimension is so configured that only one golf club (30) is allowed to extend into a corresponding one of the tubes (24). Furthermore, each of the tubes (24) has a length at least one third (⅓) of a length of the golf club (30) so that every two adjacent golf clubs (30) may not become tangled. Still, one of the tubes (24) is rectangular so that the user is able to suitably receive the putter (not shown) in the rectangular tube (24).
[0013] With reference to FIG. 3, when the golf bag (10) of the present invention is in use and after a golf club (30) is inserted into a corresponding one of the tubes (24), because the each tube (24) has at least one third of the length of the golf club (30), friction and tangling between two adjacent golf clubs are avoided. Golfers will thus have better access to the chosen golf club.
[0014] It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
