Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The invention relates to an improvement on an elevated floor structure, and more particularly, relates to an improvement on an elevated floor structure in which a fiber-type positioning-device is provided between a supporting frame and a cover board of the elevated floor to facilitate the construction work such that no further positioning work is needed.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Generally the wiring and the piping that are exposed on the ground will need to be concealed in order to beautify the surroundings. Usually a layer of elevated floor is raised above the ground surface, creating a hidden space between the floor and the ground surface, so all the wiring and piping can be covered inside this hidden space. Referring to FIG. 1, the elevated floor 20 of the prior art is composed of a plurality of supporting frames 201 and a cover board 202. The required quantity of the supporting frames 201 and the cover board 202 depends on the area of the ground surface. Generally, during a construction, several supporting frames 201 are first set up on the ground and a layer of cover board 202 is then placed above the square area formed by every four supporting frames 201. Afterward, a locking device is employed to lock the supporting frames and cover board together in a fixed position.

[0003] However, the cover board 202 of the prior art is directly placed on the top of the supporting frame 201 without positioning. Therefore, when it comes to locking the cover board 202 together with the supporting frame 201, it often happens that the position of the cover board 202 is tilted. Consequently, the locking holes 203 between the cover board 202 and the supporting frame 201 cannot be aligned precisely, thereby, further alignment work has to be performed, which is inconvenient for the worker performing the construction work. Moreover, when the worker is standing on the unlocked cover board 202 it may be tilted upward that may make the covering position of cover board 202 misalign.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] In view of the disadvantages of the prior art, the objective of the invention is to provide a fiber-type positioning-device that is installed between a supporting frame and a cover board.

[0005] In accordance with the invention, the elevated floor is composed of a plurality of supporting frames and a cover board, which is placed on the supporting frames. Four supporting frames support exactly four corners of the cover board, wherein a fiber-type positioning-device is placed between the supporting frame and the cover board. So when the cover board is placed above the supporting frame, the cover board can be positioned first by the fiber-type positioning-device. Therefore when the cover board is finally fastened firmly to the supporting frame, no further positioning is necessary because the cover board is already positioned above the supporting frames.

[0006] Another characteristic of the invention is that the fiber-type positioning-device can be a Velcro material, which binds the supporting frame and the cover board together.

[0007] To achieve the objective and reflect the features stated above, the invention provides an improvement on the elevated floor that includes a plurality of supporting frames and a cover board having its four-corner covers on every four of the supporting frames. A fiber-type positioning-device is also placed between the supporting frames and the cover board such that when the cover board is covered on the supporting frames, the cover board is fixed in position by the fiber-type positioning-device. The invention can facilitate the construction work of the elevated floor since the cover board is already in a fixed position on the supporting frames, and further positioning work is not needed when the supporting frames and the cover board are finally fastened together.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

[0019] The invention is an improvement of an elevated floor structure. As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a layer of elevated floor 10 (see FIG. 5) is raised above the ground surface to form a hidden space between the elevated floor 10 and the ground surface. As a result, the various wiring or piping can be concealed inside the hidden space between the elevated floor 10 and the ground surface. The elevated floor 10 is composed of a plurality of supporting frames 1 and the cover board 2 which is placed on the supporting frame 1. Four supporting frames support exactly the four-corner of a cover board 2.

[0020] The supporting frame 1 includes a base plate 11 for supporting on the ground, and a supporting tube 12 standing on the base plate 11. A retractable bolt 13 that can be adjusted up and down is installed inside the supporting tube 12 to coordinate with the required height. The top end of the retractable bolt 13 has a supporting plate 14 used for supporting the cover board 2.

[0021] As shown in FIG. 3, the cover board 2 of the invention is performed die-casting to form a square shape. A plurality of cavities 22 is formed by a plurality of partitioning ribs 21 in two directions perpendicular to each other in which the ribs 21 can strengthen the structure of cover board 2. The plurality of cavities can also reduce the amount of material used and the weight of the whole cover board 2.

[0022] Referring again to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, a characteristic of the invention is that the fiber-type positioning-device 3 is placed between the supporting frame 1 and the cover board 2 so that when the cover board 2 is placed on the supporting frame, the cover board 2 is first positioned by the fiber-type positioning-device 3. A recess space 141 is formed inwardly on the top surface of the supporting plate 14 for containing the fiber-type positioning-device 3 such that its top surface is at the same level of the supporting plate 14. The cover board 2 and the relative position of supporting frame 1 create inwardly a space 23 in which a corresponding fiber-type positioning-device 3′ is contained. Moreover, the fiber-type positioning-device can stick together with the bottom surface of the cover board 2. The four corners of every cover board 2 are exactly fitted with one supporting frame each according to a preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0023] The fiber-type positioning-device 3 {grave over ()} 3′ can be the mutually binding Velcro 31 {grave over ()} 31′ or other positioning-device like a double sided foam tape. Referring to FIG. 5A, if Velcro 31 {grave over ()} 31′ is used as the fiber-type positioning-device 3 {grave over ()} 3′, the corresponding top and bottom of Velcro 31 {grave over ()} 31′ are both nylon material. Referring to FIG. 5 B, the top Velcro 31 can be a wool material wherein the bottom can be a nylon material.

[0024] As shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 5, and FIG. 6, when it comes to placing the cover board 2 on the supporting frame 1, one sets up a few supporting frames 1 on the ground first. A layer of cover board 2 is placed on the square shaped area that is formed by four supporting frames 1. When the cover board 2 is fitted properly on the four supporting frames, the fiber-type positioning-device 3 {grave over ()} 3′ between the cover board 2 and the supporting frame 1 will then mutually stick together in a fixed position. The cover board 2 is prevented from easily sliding out of place because the Velcro is glued to the surfaces of the supporting frame 1 and the cover board 2, allowing the supporting frame 1 and the cover board 2 to stick together face to face. Accordingly, the cover board 2 and the supporting frame 1 are firmly locked together with a locking device.

[0025] Referring to FIG. 7 which illustrates another preferred embodiment of the invention, wherein the fiber-type positioning-device 3 {grave over ()} 3′ can be fixed directly on top of the base plate 1 14 of the supporting frame 1 and the cover board 2. Therefore, it is not necessary to create a space 141 {grave over ()} 23 to place the fiber-type positioning-device 3 {grave over ()} 3′.

[0026] FIG. 8 further illustrates that the fiber-type positioning-device 3 can be placed on the four corners of the cover board 2, and the fiber-type positioning-device 3 can be placed at every corner of the surrounding edge according to another preferred embodiment of the invention.

[0027] In the invention, the cover board 2 will not be tilted due to the fixed position of the fiber-type positioning-device so when the cover board is finally fastened to the supporting frame, further positioning is not needed, making the construction more convenient.

[0028] As stated in the above, the invention of the elevated floor structure improvement can surely achieve the effect as disclosed. Moreover, the invention has not been disclosed and has not been publicly used. Hence, the invention has truly met the important criteria of a new patent for having novel structure and efficacy.

[0029] It will become apparent for those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the structure of the invention without departing from the scope or spirit of the invention.
