A support base structure for a golf club bag is disclosed. The golf club bag comprises a supporting bar set extending along the length of the golf club bag, an upper base, a lower base having an inclined portion, a movable bar pivotally connected to the lower base. An indented space is disposed in the inclined portion. A positioning hole is disposed on each of the two sides of the indented space. A holding chamber is formed on top of the lower base. An upper base is fixed on an outer surface of the holding chamber. Two stand bars are pivotally attached to the upper base with one stand bar pivotally attached to each of lateral end portions of the upper base. The supporting bar is pivotally connected to the stand bars.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention:

[0002] The present invention relates to a support base structure for a golf club bag, and more particularly, the present invention relates to a support base structure for a golf club bag comprising a movable bar pivotally connected in between a lower base of a golf club bag and a movable block, and a supporting bar set is pivotally connected to the movable block and an upper base of the golf club bag, wherein as the golf club bag is descended on the ground, the movable bar and the supporting bar set extends outwardly to support the stand for stably supporting the golf club bag on the ground and preventing from falling over.

[0004] With two-day weekend holidays available, people find more leisure time and would like to take casual exercise to relieve stress due to week-day busy schedules or traveling. As the general working population is aware of the fact that lack of exercise is the cause of most common health problems, therefore exercise is essential for keeping a good health. Golfing has become a popular recreation and exercise, and ever since, more and more golf practice fields are available. Golfing is a very flexible providing long hour energy exhausting exercise. The golfer usually needs a golf club bag to carry the golf clubs while golfing and also to put away the golfing equipment of clubs. Referring to FIGS. 6, 7 and 7A, shows the golf club bag A is supported by a fixing set A1. The fixing set A1 comprises two axially mounted stands A2. The golf club bag A comprises an inclined portion A31 at a frontal portion of the lower base A3. A supporting block B is axially mounted on the inclined portion A31. A supporting bar B1 is pivotally connected to the supporting block B and the supporting bar B1 is pivotally connected to the stands A2. The golf club bag A supported on the ground with the supporting block B positioned against the ground together with the supporting bar B1 which moves upwardly as the golf club bag A is descended on to the ground making the stands A2 open and prop up to rest against the ground for supporting standing the golf club bag A. However, the conventional golf club bag A uses the supporting block B which props up to rest against the ground and at the same time making the stand A2 to open as the golf bag descends upon the ground, and therefore the supporting block B would not provide sufficient supporting due to the height difference and also because of the uneven ground level of the golf course makes the support by the stand very unstable for supporting the golf club bag A.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] Accordingly, in the view of the foregoing, the present inventor makes a detailed study of related art to evaluate and consider, and uses years of accumulated experience in this field, and through several experiments, to create a support base structure for a golf club bag of the present invention. The present invention provides an innovated cost effective support base structure for a golf club bag to provide a stable support to the golf club bag.

[0006] Accordingly it is an object of the present invention to provide a support base structure for a golf club bag which is capable of providing a stable support to the golf club bag on the ground of the golf course and prevent the golf club bag from falling over.

[0007] It is another object of the present invention to provide a support base structure for a golf club bag, which is capable of providing a stable support to the golf club bag on a rough ground of the golf course and prevent the golf club bag from falling over.

[0008] In order to achieve the above objects and other objects of the present invention, a support base structure for a golf club bag is provided. The golf club bag comprises a supporting bar set extending along the length of the golf club bag, an upper base, a lower base having an inclined portion, a movable bar pivotally connected to the lower base. An indented space is disposed in the inclined portion. A positioning hole is disposed on each of the two sides of the indented space. A holding chamber is formed on top of the lower base. An upper base is fixed on an outer surface of the holding chamber. Two stand bars are pivotally attached to the upper base with one stand bar pivotally attached to each of lateral end portions of the upper base. The supporting bar is pivotally connected to the stand bars.

[0009] According to one aspect of the present invention, the supporting bar set comprises a movable block and a supporting bar. The movable comprises a buckling groove with a holding portion. A flat fixing portion is disposed at a distal end of the supporting bar. The upper portion of the supporting bar comprises a pair of bars that extend upwardly, wherein a distal end portion of each bars is bent to form a through bar and two through bars are positioned over the two lateral sides of the fixing portion. The fixing portion of the supporting bar is engaged into the holding portion of the movable block.

[0010] According to another aspect of the present invention, the movable bar comprises a flat buckling portion at a central region, and the distal ends of the movable bar forms an axial portion. The distal ends of the movable bar are bent in the opposite direction.

[0011] According to another aspect of the present invention, the buckling portion of the movable bar is pivotally engaged into the buckling groove of the movable block. The movable block is pivotally connected to the movable bar. Next, the axial portion of the movable bar is pivotally connected to the positioning hole of the lower base. The two stand bars are pivotally connected to the upper base. Then, the through bar of the supporting bar is inserted into the through hole of the two stand bars.

[0012] According to another aspect of the present invention, as the golfer descends the golf club bag on to the ground, in doing so, the movable block of the supporting bar set and the lower base comes in contact with the ground and rests against the surface of the ground. As the movable block comes to rest on the ground with axial portion of the movable bar as an axis, makes the golf club bag incline towards the inclined portion of the lower base. Then, the golfer could press the golf club bag down to let the inclined portion of the lower base to prop up on the ground. As movable block comes against the surface ground, the movable block will push the supporting bar in a upwardly direction making the through bar to rotate within through and moves outwardly, meanwhile as the movable bar is pivotally connected within the indented space of the lower base, will coordinate with the movement of the supporting bar by rotating within indented space of the lower base as an axis. Accordingly, the movable block will push the supporting bar in a upwardly direction, and makes the through bar at the upper location which is supported by the stand bars to open up outwardly making the golf club bag to stand with the stand bars, a portion of the lower base together with the movable block and the movable bar, resting on the ground in an inclined position with respect to the ground level. Further, because an additional supporting bar of the present invention is provided which is pivotally connected with the lower base and which in turn pivotally connects with movable block would substantially increase the surface area of the ground coverage between the movable block and the lower base, thus the movable block together with the movable bar provides a steady and stable support for the golf club bag to stand in an inclined position firmly.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0025] Reference will be made in detail to the preferred embodiments of the invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.

[0026] Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, 2A, 3 and 3A, a golf club bag 1 comprising a supporting bar set 2 extending along the length of the golf club bag 1, an upper base 13, a lower base 11 having an inclined portion 111, a movable bar 3 pivotally connected to the lower base 11. An indented space 1111 is disposed in the inclined portion 111. A positioning hole 1112 is disposed on each of the two sides of the indented space 1111. A holding chamber 12 is formed on top of the lower base 11. An upper base 13 is fixed on an outer surface of the holding chamber 12. Two stand bars 14 are pivotally attached to the upper base 13 with one stand bar 14 pivotally attached to each of lateral end portions of the upper base 13. A through hole 141 is disposed on an upper portion of each of the stand bars 14 which extends from one side to the opposite of the stand bars 14.

[0027] The supporting bar set 2 comprises a movable block 21 and a supporting bar 22. The movable block 21 comprises a buckling groove 211 with a holding portion 212. A flat fixing portion 221 is disposed at a distal end of the supporting bar 22. The upper portion of the supporting bar 22 comprises a pair of bars that extend upwardly, wherein a distal end portion of each bars is bent to form a through bar 222, and two through bars 222 are positioned over the two lateral sides of the fixing portion 221. The fixing portion 221 of the supporting bar 22 is engaged into the holding portion 212 of the movable block 21.

[0028] The movable bar 3 of the present invention comprises a flat buckling portion 31 at a central region, and the distal ends of the movable bar 3 forms an axial portion 32. The distal ends of the movable bar 3 are bent in the opposite direction.

[0029] The buckling portion 31 of the movable bar 3 is pivotally engaged into the buckling groove 211 of the movable block 21. The movable block 21 is pivotally connected to the movable bar 3. Next, the axial portion 32 of the movable bar 3 is pivotally connected to the positioning hole 1112 of the lower base 11. The two stand bars 14 are pivotally connected to the upper base 13. Then, the through bar 222 of the supporting bar 22 is inserted into the through hole 141 of the two stand bars 14.

[0030] Referring to FIGS. 3, 3A, 4, 4A and 5, the upper portion of the stand bars 14 that connects with the upper base 13 is in a closed position with the stand bars 14 resting against the side of the holding chamber 12 of the golf club bag 1. In this closed position the golf club bag 1 is easy for the golfer to carry. When the golfer walks to a location for striking the golf ball, the golfer descends the golf club bag 1 on to the ground, in doing so, the movable block 21 of the supporting bar set 2 and the lower base 11 comes in contact with the ground and rests against the surface of the ground. As the movable block 21 comes to rest on the ground with axial portion 32 of the movable bar 3 as an axis, makes the golf club bag 1 incline towards the inclined portion 111 of the lower base 11. Then, the golfer could press the golf club bag 1 down to let the inclined portion 111 of the lower base 11 to prop up on the ground. As movable block 21 comes against the surface ground, the movable block 21 will push the supporting bar 22 in a upwardly direction making the through bar 222 to rotate within through hole 141 and moves outwardly, meanwhile as the movable bar 3 is pivotally connected within the indented space 1111 of the lower base 11, will coordinate with the movement of the supporting bar 22 by rotating within indented space 1111 of the lower base 11 as an axis. Accordingly, the movable block 21 will push the supporting bar 22 in a upwardly direction, and makes the through bar 222 at the upper location which is supported by the stand bars 14 to open up outwardly making the golf club bag 1 to stand with the stand bars 14, a portion of the lower base 11 together with the movable block 21 and the movable bar 3, resting on the ground in an inclined position with respect to the ground level. Further, because an additional supporting bar 22 of the present invention is provided which is pivotally connected with the lower base 11 and which in turn pivotally connects with movable block 21 would allow the buckling portion 31 of the movable bar 3 in an upwardly and outwardly direction to substantially increase the surface area of the ground coverage between the movable block 21 and the lower base 11, thus the movable block 21 together with the movable bar 3 provides a steady and stable support for the golf club bag 1 to stand in an inclined position firmly.

[0031] It should be understood from the above description of the embodiment of the present invention that the movable block 21 is not solely used to support the golf club bag 1 on the ground, but rather the movable block 21 is used in conjunction with the pivotally connected movable bar 3 of the present invention which extend outwardly as the supporting bar 22 is pushed upwards, and as the movable block 21 is freely movable would allow to automatically adjust the positioning of the movable block 21 to support against even on the rough surface of the ground stably.

[0032] According to another aspect of the present invention, the movable bar 3 of the present invention which is positioned between lower base 11 of the golf club bag 1 and the movable block 21 of the supporting bar set 2 would substantially increase the surface coverage area by the ground contact face of the golf club bag 1 when the golf club bag 1 is descended on the ground with the stand bars 14, a portion of the lower base 11 together with the movable block 21 and the movable bar 3, resting on the ground. Further by including the additional movable bar 3 of the present invention would allow the golf club bag 1 to be stably supported on any kind of ground condition and prevent the golf club bag 1 from falling over.

[0033] Therefor, the stand for the golf club bag 1 will provide the golf club bag 1 stable support any type of ground condition. It is to be understood that the above embodiment of the invention describes taking the one-piece movable bar 3 that positioned between the lower base 11 of the golf club bag 1 and the movable block 21 of the connection bar set 2 with the movable bar 3 pivotally connected to the indented space 1111 of the lower base 11 through the buckling groove 211 of the movable block 21 allowing the movable bar 3 to rotate within the positioning hole 1112 of the lower base 11 as the axis, and the movable block 21 is pivotally or rotatably connected to the buckling portion 31 of the movable bar 3. This allows the buckling portion 31 of the movable bar 3 in an upwardly and outwardly direction to increase a surface area of the ground coverage of the contact surface to stably support the golf club bag 1. Thus the above arrangement of the present invention would provide the golf club bag 1 with features such as more simplified assembling, substantial adjustable positioning, stable support and preventing the golf club bag 1 from falling off by substantially increasing the surface area of the ground coverage of the contact surface for stably supporting the golf club bag 1.

Accordingly, it is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications, and variations, which fall within the spirit and scope of the included claims. All matters set forth herein or shown in the accompanying drawings are to be interpreted in an illustrative and non-limiting sense.

Claims

1. A support base structure for a golf club bag, comprising:

a golf club bag comprising an upper base and a lower base;
two stand bars pivotally connected to the upper base;
a supporting bar set extending along the length of the golf club bag comprising a fixing portion at a lower end, and an upper distal end portion, wherein the upper distal end portion comprises a pair of bars with each end portion of each bars bent and pivotally connected to an upper end portion of each of the stand bars;
a movable block pivotally connected to the lower end of the supporting bar; and
a movable bar comprising an axial portion pivotally connected to the movable block, and two distal end portions of the movable bar is bent in a opposite direction and pivotally connected to the lower base of the golf club bag, such that as the golf club bag is descended on a ground surface, movable block rests against the ground surface thereby rotating the movable bar at its pivotal point of contact as an axis and rotates the buckling portion of the movable bar in an upwardly and outwardly direction to increase a surface area of the ground coverage of the contact surface to stably support the golf club bag.

2. The support base structure according to claim 1, wherein said lower base of said golf club bag comprises a inclined portion having an indented space, and wherein said indented space comprises a positioning holes disposed on each of two sides for pivotally connecting said axial portion of said movable bar.

3. The support base structure according to claim 1, wherein said movable block comprise a buckling groove for fitting and positioning said fixing portion of said supporting bar.

4. The support base structure according to claim 1, wherein said movable block comprises a holding portion, and wherein at a bottom end of said supporting bar comprises a flat fixing portion to fit into said holding portion of said movable block.
