The present invention is a system allowing to permanently expand between one to twelve inches of each side from the bottom from racks for widen the aisles, or top of racks for widen the shelves in a warehouse.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a system allowing to expand the bottom or top of racks for widen the aisles or the shelves in a warehouse.

[0003] 2. Description of the Related Art

[0004] A search of prior art records has unveiled the following patents:

[0005] 1. CA 2,232,178 issued in 1999 to Dion; and

[0006] 2. U.S. Pat. No. 6,405,884 issued in 2002 to Dion.

[0007] As can be seen the patents mentioned above are probably the most relevant.

[0008] The proposed system is a system allowing to expand between one to twelve inches of each side from the bottom or top of racks for widen the aisles or the shelves in a warehouse.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0009] It has been discovered that the present invention described herein allows to permanently expand between one to twelve inches of each side from the bottom from racks for widen the aisles, or top of racks for widen the shelves in a warehouse, which comprises a frame member having a bottom end welded to a protector plate for ends of aisles provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt and it fixing on the floor, and which the triangular part members are welded to the protector plate and to frame member.

[0010] A longer part member provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt, is welded onto the upper end of frame member and to a tubular post shown in phantom lines.

[0011] A shorter part member provided with apertures formed therein, includes a slot formed therein allowing the adjustment according the size of tubular post which is connected to longer and shorter part members by means of a bolt passing through tubular post which is engaged into an aperture of longer and shorter part members, which the bolt is connected by a conventional fastening means, and which the reinforcement rectangular plate members are welded of each side from tubular post and frame member.

[0012] The horizontal and diagonal braces are mounted to frame member by the connecting plates members provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt and to tubular post shown in phantom lines by the U-shaped connecting part members provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt, wherein the angle of braces is important in ensuring the overall rigidity of the structure.

[0013] In this respect, it will be understood that different pallet racks will have different dimensions and the repair assembly will be configured accordingly.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0018] Referring to the drawings in greater detail, and by reference characters thereto, there is illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3 a sytem allowing to permanently expand between one to twelve inches of each side from the bottom or top of racks for widen the aisles or the shelves in a warehouse, which is generally designated by reference numeral (A).

[0019] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, there is illustrated a system (A) allowing to permanently expand between one to twelve inches of each side from the bottom or top of racks for widen the aisles or the shelves in a warehouse, which comprises a frame member (1) having a bottom end welded to a protector plate (6) for ends of aisles provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt and it fixing on the floor, and by which the triangular part members (5) are welded to the protector plate (6) and to frame member (1).

[0020] A longer part member (2) provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt, is welded onto the upper end of frame member (1) and to a tubular post shown in phantom lines.

Claims

1. A sytem allowing to permanently expand between one to twelve inches of each side from the bottom or top of racks for widen the aisles or the shelves in a warehouse, which comprises a frame member having a bottom end welded to a protector plate for ends of aisles provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt and it fixing on the floor, and by which the triangular part members are welded to said protector plate and said frame member.

2. The system of the claim 1 includes a longer part member provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt, is welded onto the upper end of said frame member and to a tubular post.

The system of the claim 1 includes a shorter part member provided with apertures formed therein, including a slot formed therein allowing the adjustment according the size of tubular post which is connected to said longer and shorter part members by means of a bolt passing through tubular post which is engaged into an aperture of said longer and shorter part members, and which are connected the reinforcement rectangular plate members welded of each side from rack to said tubular post and said frame member.

4. The system of the claim 1 includes the horizontal and diagonal braces which are mounted to said frame member by the connecting plates members provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt and to tubular post by the U-shaped connecting part members provided with apertures formed therein for receiving a bolt.
