Ez-out trash bag removal system
This idea is basically either an extrusion, or mold process. In either case the end result would be an “L” shaped tube (PVC) or flat rectangle, each of the pieces would be hollow with perforations on either side as well as hollowness for airflow. It would also be noted that in the manufacture of any receptacle the channel or tube with perforations can be incorporated in the design of the receptacles. The extruded or molded pieces would be attached in the container with velcro or double sided tape.
[0001] This invention came about when I realized need for a tool or container to aid in the removal of the bag. I noticed that a vacuum formed between the bag and receptacle, causing user great difficult, problems while removing bag or trash insert. These problems, including dripping, or tar the bag, were caused primarily by the vacuum.
[0002] The product design to follow eliminates or reduces this vacuum greatly.
[0003] In closing this product greatly assists user in his daily routine, thus saving time and increasing productivity. Also keeping bag in tact it limits amount of time, which would be wasted in the clean up of any mess, caused by a broken or torn bag.
[0004] The product would be removed should the container need cleaning and reinstalled. This would allow this durable product to be used over a long period of time limiting the need for repurchasing the unit too frequently.
EZ-Out Trash Bag Removal Systems[0005] The function of this invention is to let air into and out of the space between the trash receptacle (garbage can) and disposable plastic bag. By doing this it breaks the vacuum, which occurs in this space.
[0006] The design also allows any leakage to stay contained while still serving its purpose.
[0007] Option 1;
[0008] This consists of plastic pipe (tubular) or a flat rectangular channel in the shape of an ell. A U shape can be used if necessary. The elbow can be corrugated or pliable to adjust the angle to + or −90 degrees allowing it to fit the slant, if any, of the walls of the container.
[0009] The upper and lower portions are open at the ends, with holes along the sides and one at the back of the elbow.
[0010] This can be made of two pieces and an elbow or cast as a one-piece ell. The lengths and diameters can vary with the size and use of the receptacle. FIG. 1 Adjustable units would use two pieces with different diameters or widths allowing for the unit to raise, lower, or extend to fit receptacles (trash cans) of different sizes. Additional holes would be added to allow for set tabs to maintain height and width for installation. These could have a push button release or a pin set in the hole keeping the size consistent. [0011] By extending tube over top of receptacle and or adding a reverse ell, it allows air to escape more quickly upon insertion of bag. FIG. 3.
[0012] The use of a pliable or flexible hose or conduit, it allows any shape to be conformed to. The tube would be sold by the foot as required by the measurements of the receptacle. FIG. 4.
[0013] The ends of the units would be scored at set intervals to allow for it to be snapped off to fit the height and length of the receptacle.
[0014] The units specified in Option 1, would be attached to the inside of receptacle with either double-sided foam glue strips (tape) or Velcro tabs or Velcro type fasteners to keep it in place.

[0016] This is a receptacle, where at the point of manufacturing the channel would be cast on the interior of receptacle. FIG. 5.
[0017] Also the concave sides and bottom of receptacle are aerated allowing for the venting to occur upon both insertion and removal of bag. FIG. 6. This however does not contain any fluids, which may have leaked into container from bag.
Claims
1. THIS CONSISTS OF AN L SHAPED UNIT FASTENED TO THE INSIDE OF A TRASH RECETICLE, HOLLOW WITH AERATIOL HOLES TO ALLOW AIR IN TO BREAK VACUUM AT POINT OF MANUFACTURE UNIT, UNIT COULD BE MOLDED INTO RECETICLE.
