Connection device for light steel frames
A connection device of light steel frames comprises a longitudinal frame and a transversal frame. The longitudinal frame is bent to be formed with a first rib. Each first rib has a plurality of inserting holes and two sides of the first rib having respective supporting pieces. The transversal frame is bent to be formed with a second rib. The two sides of the second rib have respective crossing pieces. In one application, each supporting piece of the longitudinal frame is inclined upwards. Each end of the first rib is formed with an inclined slot. Each of two ends of each crossing piece is chamfered to form an inclined corner. The inclined slot is formed by two edges. Moreover, in another application, each supporting piece of the longitudinal frame is vertical to the first rib and the two edges of the slot are parallel.
[0001] The present invention relates to steels frames, and particularly to a connection device of light steel frames which has a firm structure and present a beautiful outlook
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0002] With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a prior art light steel frame is illustrated. The steel frames are formed by a plurality of longitudinal frames 1 and a plurality of transversal frames 10. The longitudinal frame 1 has a rib 2. Each rib 2 has an inserting hole 3. The transversal frame 10 may be inserted into the inserting hole 3. The two sides of the rib 2 of the longitudinal frame 20 have horizontal supporting pieces 4. The transversal frame 10 has a rib 11. The two sides of the rib 11 of the transversal frame 10 have horizontal crossing pieces 12. The crossing piece 12 of the transversal frame 10 runs across the supporting piece 4 of longitudinal frame 1 by a rectangular end 120. However, the prior art has the following disadvantages:
[0003] 1. The crossing piece 12 directly runs across the supporting piece 4 vertically. The outlook is dull.
[0004] 2. The supporting piece 4 and crossing piece 12 are horizontally arranged so that the outlook is not beautiful.
[0005] 3. The crossing piece 12 of the transversal frame 10 simply runs across the supporting piece 4 of longitudinal frame I by a rectangular end 120 and thus the connection between the transversal frame 10 and longitudinal frame I is weak and thus some dangerous accidents are possibly induced due to the weak structure.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0006] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a connection device of light steel frames comprising a longitudinal frame and a transversal frame. The longitudinal frame is bent to be formed with a first rib. Each first rib has a plurality of inserting holes and two sides of the first rib having respective supporting pieces. The transversal frame is bent to be formed with a second rib. The two sides of the second rib have respective crossing pieces. The transversal frame is inserted into the inserting hole of the longitudinal frame.
[0007] In one aspect of the present invention, where each supporting piece of the longitudinal frame is inclined upwards. Each end of the first rib is formed with an inclined slot and between the two crossing pieces of the transversal frame. Each of two ends of each crossing piece is chamfered to form an inclined corner. The inclined slot is formed by two edges.
[0008] In another aspect of the present invention, where each supporting piece of the longitudinal frame is vertical to the first rib. Each end of the first rib is formed with a slot between the two crossing pieces of the transversal frame. Two edges of the slot are parallel. Each of two ends of each crossing piece is chamfered to form an inclined corner. The inclined slot is formed by two edges.
[0009] The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS[0017] Referring to FIGS. 3, 4 and 5, the connection device of light steel frames of the present invention is illustrated. The connection device of light steel frames includes a longitudinal frame 20 and a transversal frame 30. The longitudinal frame 20 is bent to be formed with a rib 21. Each rib 21 has a plurality of inserting holes 22 and two sides of the rib 21 have respective supporting pieces 23. The transversal frame 30 is bent to be formed with a rib 31. The two sides of the rib 31 have respective crossing pieces 33. The transversal frame 30 is inserted into the inserting hole 22 of the longitudinal frame 20.
[0018] In the present invention, each supporting piece 23 of the longitudinal frame 20 is inclined upwards. The rib 31 is formed with an inclined slot 32 between the two crossing pieces 33 of the transversal frame 30. Each of two ends of each crossing piece 33 is chamfered with an inclined corner 330. The inclined slot 32 has two edges. The angle between the two edges is 320 degrees.
[0019] Referring to FIG. 4, when the transversal frame 30 and longitudinal frame 20 are connected. The supporting piece 23 of the longitudinal frame 20 is inserted into the inserting hole 32 of the transversal frame 30. The rib 31 resists against the rib 21 and the supporting piece 23 is inserted into the inclined slot 32 along the slope of the edge of the slot 32. The crossing piece 33 of the transversal frame 30 resists against the supporting piece 23. Thereby, the two ends of the transversal frame 30 are clamped and confined by the longitudinal frame 20 so that the transversal frame 30 will not shift away.
[0020] With reference to FIGS. 5 and 6, when the transversal frame 30 and longitudinal frame 20 are assembled as an integral body. The supporting pieces 23 and crossing pieces 33 are formed as a configuration like that shown on the drawings. In that:
[0021] (1) The connections of the transversal frame 30 and longitudinal frame 20 are formed as drawing frames so as to present a beautiful outlook.
[0022] (2) The connections of the supporting pieces 23 and crossing pieces 33 cause that four sharp tips are formed and thus it presents an outlook different from the prior art ones.
[0023] Moreover, as shown in the FIG. 7, some other embodiments of the present invention are illustrated. In FIG. 7A, the crossing pieces 33 of the transversal frame 30 are horizontally arranged. Two edges 330 of the slot 321 are arranged in parallel and are horizontally. In FIG. 7B, a cover 40 encloses the crossing pieces 33 of the transversal frame 30. In FIG. 7C, the cover 40 encloses the two inclined crossing pieces 33. However, above mentioned embodiments are within the scope of the present invention.
[0024] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments, it will be understood that the invention is not limited to the details described thereof Various substitutions and modifications have been suggested in the foregoing description, and others will occur to those of ordinary skill in the art. Therefore, all such substitutions and modifications are intended to be embraced within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
