Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] (a) Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention is related to a multi-purpose container, and more particularly to one that is attractive in appearance, environmental, and provides additional functions to contain liquid or solid contents, or as a holder.

[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Consumer nowadays demands more on the quality and aesthetic sense of a commodity, particularly, lotion, perfume and fragrant essence. To highlight the product quality and improve the overall appearance or compromise the features of the product, container made of glass becomes very popular. Though the glass vase presents artistic style, it prevents easier production and affordable costs. Furthermore, it, ranked at the top priority for recycling, imposes a serious environmental issue for disposal due to various factors including, lightweight, voluminous, encouraging incubation of mosquitoes, being stubborn in natural disintegration and difficult in handling to create serious pollution and destruction to the environment.

[0005] Therefore, a further improvement of the prior art is required to provide a glass container that while giving its basic function to contain perfume, lotion, and fragrant essence and maintaining its artistic style, allows additional functions when adapted with accessories to encourage the recycling use and help achieve the purpose of waste reduction.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a multi-purpose container comprised of a U-shape body guarded respectively at its both sides a side panel, flushed at the top to define an opening and leveled at the bottom to be firmly secured to contain liquid, or solid contents, or insertion of decoration items.

[0007] Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a multi-purpose container that can be adapted with various types of upper lids to give additional functions, such as functioning as a toothbrushes holder or a lotion bottles holder, for waste reduction.

[0008] The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.

[0009] Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] FIG. 1 is a view of a first preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0011] FIG. 2 is a view of a second preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0012] FIG. 3 is a view of a third preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0013] FIG. 4 is an exploded view of a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0014] FIG. 5 is a view of the fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention as assembled.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0015] The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

[0016] Referring to FIG. 1, a first preferred embodiment of the present invention is essentially comprised of a U shape body 1 respectively attached to both longer sides of the interior 11 a see through side panel 12 with top flushed with that of the body 1 to define an opening 13, and bottom leveled to be firmly secured. When the present invention is used as a holder or a vase, flowers 5, or pens, rules, and office stationery items, may be forthwith put into the opening 13.

[0017] As illustrated in FIG. 2, a second preferred embodiment of the present invention is filled up with solid contents, e.g. wax 6, a cord 61 is inserted into the wax leaving a section in reasonable length exposed to serve as a candlestick, and a romantic one.

[0018] FIG. 3 shows a third preferred embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, a first upper lid 2 perforated with multiple holes 21 is provided to cover up the opening 13. On each of both longer sides of the lid 2, a lip 22 is provided to lock the lid 2 in position at the top of the opening 13 to hold multiple toothbrushes or other objects through those holes 21.

[0019] As illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention is provided with a second upper lid 3 to cover up the opening 13. The lid 3 is provided on each of its longer sides a lip 32 to lock the lid 3 in position. A head 31 with a male thread 311 on its outer circumference is provided at the center of the lid 31 to engage a pumping unit 4 by a female thread (not illustrated) provided inside a plug 41 at the middle section of the pumping unit 4. A sucker 42 is provided below the plug to extend into the interior 11 and a press 43 is provided above the plug 41. A delivery hose 431 laterally extends from the press 43. By pushing down the press 43, the contents (e.g., lotion, skin care oil, shampoo, or other similar liquid) filled in the interior 11 are sucked through the sucker 42 and the delivery hose 431 for the present invention to function as a dispenser.

[0020] It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

[0021] While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
