Supertech pillow
A household pillow, used to support the head, neck and shoulders etc., is totally filled with softer material or softer shape, with no void within.
[0001] This invention of “Supertech Pillow” relates to a household pillow.
[0002] It is common to fill the softer materials or moulded softer shapes with no voids within the pillow to maintain its shape and to provide bouncy support to the head, neck and shoulder.
[0003] After consistent usage of the household pillow it looses its shape, fluffiness, forming lumps within and therefore providing unequal cervical support resulting in much discomfort. It takes time to get adjusted to new pillow because of its uniform thickness and the same pillow may not be suitable for structurally different persons. There is no void inside the pillow to accommodate therapeutic or any other objects.
[0004] I have found that these disadvantages may be overcome by using “Supertech Pillow” because of its unique construction. Two unequal diameter tubes of spongy material are connected diagonally forming the width of the “Supertech Pillow”. Because of its tubular structure the shape will be maintained providing consistent, positive cervical support. Tubes being of different diameter will accommodate usage to structurally different individuals. The Web joining the two tubes diagonally acts as a leverage maintaining uniform distribution of load while either smaller or larger diameter side is in use. The hollow portions of tubes are open ended and easily accessible; may be used to provide several comfort or therapeutic usages such as hot/cold water bottles, aromatic packages, therapeutic magnets, radio/tape/disc for music etc.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS[0005] “In drawings which illustrate embodiments of the inventions, View ‘A’ is a “Supertech Pillow” assembly; Section X-X showing embodiments of components assembled within, View ‘B’ showing embodiments of two different diameter tubes of spongy material are joined diagonally OR this component can be extruded of spongy material, View ‘C’ showing “Supertech Pillow” in actual use.
[0006] The “Supertech Pillow” illustrated comprising standard suitable zip {circle over (1)}, Opening and Closing on either side of the outer covering {circle over (2)}, providing easy access to inner components as shown in Section X-X, {circle over (3)} is inner covering with a zip same as {circle over (1)} on either side for easy access to hollow portions of tubes, {circle over (4)} two unequal diameter tubes of softer, spongy material joined diagonally by a web of same spongy material, {circle over (5)} is a special fibre fill to give a smoothing out finish shape to “Supertech Pillow”. View ‘C’ embodiment the “Supertech Pillow” in actual use showing it will take the shape of Cervical Contour because of its construction and yet provide positive support for comfort.”
Claims
