Cleaning device for fuel-injection-nozzle
A cleaning device for fuel-injection-nozzle includes a pair of bottles for simultaneously cleaning the nozzles as well as manifold thereby reducing the working cost while increasing the cleaning performance.
[0001] The present invention relates to a cleaning device, and more particularly to a cleaning device for fuel-injection-nozzle with a pair of cleaning bottles thereby facilitating an efficient cleaning process to nozzles of the engine as well as other accessories.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART[0002] Modern vehicles have been upgraded with fuel-injection system to replace carburetors. The fuel injection system supplies an explosive mixture of vaporized fuel and air to an internal combustion engine with a more efficient way thereby benefiting clean exhaustion and higher power output. However, the petroleum contains carbon which forms carbon residues during the combustion owing to incomplete combustion. Ideally, the carbon residues will be expelled with the exhaust. However, in most case, the nozzles have to be cleaned with special cleaning agent after a period of usage so as to prevent the nozzles from being clogged by the carbon residues.
[0003] The existing cleaning procedures include two-step by cleaning the nozzles and the manifold, separately. Even the cleaning procedures are the same, it takes time. As a result, there is a room for providing an apparatus for cleaning the nozzles and the manifold simultaneously so as to reduce the time consumed in the process.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0004] It is the object of this invention to provide a cleaning device in which the nozzles and the manifold can be efficiently and simultaneously cleaned.
[0005] In order to achieve the object set forth, a cleaning device for cleaning fuel injection nozzle includes a first cleaning kit including a first bottle for containing cleaning liquid. The first cleaning kit further includes a first air inlet and a nozzle coupler for delivering cleaning liquid to a nozzle to be cleaned. A second cleaning kit includes a second bottle for cleaning liquid, the second cleaning kit includes a second air inlet and a manifold coupler for delivering cleaning liquid to a manifold to be cleaned. Wherein the first and second air inlets are interconnected by a check valve, and the first and second cleaning kits are interconnected by a bracket
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS[0006] FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the cleaning device in accordance with the present invention;
[0007] FIG. 2 is an assembled view of FIG. 1; and
[0008] FIG. 3 is a cross section view of FIG. 2.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT[0009] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a cleaning device in accordance with the present invention includes a first kit 1 and a second kit 2 interconnected by a bracket 7. The first kit includes a first bottle 10 having a first cover 11 thereon. The first cover 11 is further provided with a first relief valve 12 connected thereto at one end, and a first ball valve 13 at the other end. The first ball valve 13 is further interconnected with a first pressure indicator 30 and a first nozzle coupler 31. The first cover 11 is further provided with a first regulator 14 having a first pressure gauge 141 thereon. The first pressure cover 11 is further provided with a first pipe 15 extending into the first bottle 10. A first filter 16 is provided at the end of the first pipe 15. The first cover 11 is further provided with a first inlet 17 in communication to the first bottle 10.
[0010] The second kit 2 has a similar configuration to the first kit 1 and includes a second bottle 20 having a second cover 21 thereon. The second cover 21 is further provided with a second relief valve 22 connected thereto at one end, and a second ball valve 23 at the other end. The second ball valve 23 is further interconnected with a second pressure indicator 40 and an inlet coupler 41. The second cover 21 is further provided with a second regulator 24 having a second pressure gauge 241 thereon. The second pressure cover 21 is further provided with a second pipe 25 extending into the second bottle 10. A second filter 26 is provided at the end of the second pipe 25. The second cover 21 is further provided with a second inlet 27 in communication to the second bottle 20.
[0011] The first cleaning kit 1 and the second cleaning kit 2 are interconnected by a check valve 5 arranged between the first regulator 14 and the second regulator 24. The check valve 5 is further interconnected with a pressurized air inlet 6. As mentioned above, the first cleaning kit 1 and the second cleaning kit 2 are interconnected by the bracket 7 which is further provided with a hook (not labeled) for hanging on an anchor of the engine hood for easy operation of the cleaning device in accordance with the present invention.
[0012] In operation, the first bottle 10 and the second bottle 20 each is filled with cleaning liquid to one half of its full capacity. The first nozzle coupler 31 and the inlet coupler 41 are interconnected to the nozzle to be cleaned, and the manifold to be cleaned, respectively, while the air inlet 6 is interconnected to compressed air tank. Then the cleaning procedure can be commenced.
[0013] When the pressurized air flows into the air inlet 6 into the system, the pressurized air flows through the check valve 5 into the first cleaning kit 1 and the second cleaning kit 2. When the pressurized air flows into the first cleaning kit 1, it flows through the first regulator 14, the first cover 11, and finally enters into the first bottle 10 through the first inlet 17, the first bottle 10 is pressurized such that the cleaning liquid is pushed to enter the first pipe 15. The pressurized cleaning liquid then flows through the first cover 11, first ball valve 13, and the first nozzle coupler 31. Finally, the cleaning liquid flows to the nozzles to be cleaned so complete the cleaning process. As such, the carbon residues can be efficiently washed out.
[0014] Meanwhile, the pressurized air flowing through the check valve 5 also enters into the second cleaning kit 2. When the pressurized air flows into the second cleaning kit 2, it flows through the second regulator 24, the second cover 21, and finally enters into the second bottle 20 through the second inlet 27, the second bottle 20 is pressurized such that the cleaning liquid is pushed to enter the second pipe 25. The pressurized cleaning liquid then flows through the second cover 21, second ball valve 23, and the second inlet coupler 41. Finally, the cleaning liquid flows to the manifold to be cleaned so complete the cleaning process. As such, the carbon residues can be efficiently washed out.
