[0013] The IntelliDesk is any desktop computer that has had its internal components rearranged on a prefabricated tray then the tray is inserted into a compartment in a desk, this compartment can be a shelf. This arrangement alleviates the tower and places the internal, user accessed devices within reach from the desktop. All cabling, speakers, CD drives, Floppy drives, Hard drives and a surge protector are located within this compartment and the receptacle for peripherals are accessed from within the compartment or at either side of the desktop. A separate compartment is used to house the keyboard, mouse and LCD monitor, and this compartment is located in front of the user.
