A wheel body and a bearing of in-line skate capable of positioning rollers of a bearing so that stress thereof is dispersed evenly for preventing the loss of grease, intrusions of alien objects, and deformation and locking between the two bearing, thereby increasing the lifespan thereof, includes a spacing next an axletree having a sealed end and an open end further provided with a cover for sealing the axletree, and a bearing provided at recesses at the two sides thereof and consisted of an outer shell having a lengthened central axis, a containment ring having concaves and an outer cover for holding the rollers, thereby achieving a mechanism with enhanced practical values.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] (a) Field of the Invention

[0002] The invention relates to a wheel body and a bearing of in-line skate, and more particularly, to a wheel body and a bearing of in-line skate capable of preventing locking of the wheel body resulted from twisting of alien objects intruded into the spacing between the wheel body and the bearing, as well as locating the bearing with evenly dispersed stress without losing grease and causing deformation thereof.

[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art

[0004] FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4 show a conventional elevational view of a prior art disposed at a bottom frame of an in-line skate, a conventional exploded sectional view of a prior art, and a conventional sectional view and a conventional side view of a bearing in a prior art. Wherein, a wheel 1 is disposed with axletree 10 for reducing production cost and weight, at the outer edge of a recess 12 at the center of the wheel 1 for fitting a bearing 13 is provided with a spacing 11, and the recesses 12 at the sides are for fitting the bearings 13. In order to increase the supporting ability thereof, between the two bearings 13 is further provided with a central sleeve 14, and from the center extending outward is provided with caps 15 connected with the central sleeve 14. The entire body is then placed into the center of a bottom frame having axis openings 20, so as to fasten the body through the center thereof by means of screws 21 and screw couplers 22 (as shown in FIG. 3). However, the defective design of the prior art due to the exposed spacing 11 easily incurs twisting of alien objects such as dust, ropes, stones and steel wires that lock the wheel body, thus resulting in falling of the skater. Therefore, the prior art is clearly dangerous and unsafe. In addition, rollers 134 provided at the center of the bearings 13 are loose as having no containment device, and therefore the grease therein for lubricating is easily lost, and hence shortening the lifespan thereof. Also, for that the rollers 134 are not located at fixed positions, the bearings 13 may consequently operate unsmoothly such that stress thereof is not evenly dispersed and further bringing deformation or even locking thereof. On top of that, the gap between the two bearings 13 is rather small that alien objects such as hair or thin ropes may easily get caught, leading to locking as well. All the aforesaid shortcomings have long since perplexed industrialists and consumers, and therefore, it is a vital task and also the object of the invention as how to provide a wheel body and a bearing in-line skate having enhanced practical values.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] An object of the invention is to provide a wheel body and a bearing of in-line skate, so as to solve the twisting of alien objects, the loss of grease, the unsteady positions of the rollers and the deformation resulted from unevenly dispersed stress as in the prior art. To accomplish the aforesaid object, the structure a in accordance with the invention comprises a wheel cover provided at a spacing, bearings consisted of outer shells having a lengthened central axis, and a containment ring having concaves and an outer cover for holding the rollers. As a result, locking caused by alien objects being twisted into the spacing is prevented, the rollers are positioned for smooth operations, and the stress thereof is evenly dispersed without bringing deformation thereof.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0013] FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 show an exploded elevational view and a side view of the bearing thereof, an elevational view, and a sectional view in accordance with the invention, respectively. Wherein, at the exterior thereof is provided with a recess 12 for fitting a bearing 13 at the sides of an axletree 10 of the wheel body 1, respectively, and at the outer edge of each recess 12 is provided with a spacing 11 for reducing production material and weight. In order to prevent intrusions of alien objects into the spacing 11, one side of the axletree 10 is sealed and the other side thereof is in communication with opening air. Also, fitting openings 111 are disposed at the partition of the spacing 11 for fitting a sealing axletree cover 112, and fitting axes 113 are disposed at corresponding positions of the axletree cover 112 for fitting into the fitting openings 111 to close the opening thereof, such that twisting of alien objects namely dust, ropes, stones or steel wires into the wheel body 1 and the axletree 10 is prevented during high speed operations, thereby avoiding accidental falls and dangers resulted from sudden locking thereof.

[0014] The bearing 13 provided at the recesses 12 at the sides from the center of the axletree 10 further comprises an outer shell 131 having a lengthened central axis 133, rollers 134, a containment ring 133 with corresponding concaves 1331, and an outer cover 135. During the assembly of the invention, the rollers 134 are placed therein through the opening end of the invention. At the two sides of the rollers 134 are provided with the containment ring 133 having corresponding concaves 1331 for positioning the rollers 134 (as shown in the enlarged views in FIG. 5), such that the rollers 134 are positioned within the concaves 1331. The outer cover 135 then encloses the rollers 134 and the corresponding containment ring 133 at the outer edge of the outer shell 131. Referring to the bottom of FIG. 5 showing a side view of the bearing 13 after the invention is sealed, the aforesaid assembled members are placed into the bottom frame 2 having axis openings 20 and further combined into one body by means of screws 21 and screw couplers 22. Because at the two sides from the center of the outer shell 131 of the bearing 13 is provided with a lengthened central axis 132 that offers support and is free of gaps from joining, intrusions of alien objects such as hair or thin ropes causing locking and the resultant falling of the skater are prevented while also maintaining high speed operations of the in-line skate. In addition, the rollers 134 in accordance with the invention are positioned by the corresponding concaves 1331 of the containment ring 133, and therefore the rollers 134 are perpetually in orientation with the outer shell 131, thus giving even stress thereupon as well as smooth operation, further preventing deformation of the bearing 13 that may lead to locking thereof. Also, the grease held therein is not lost easily, so that the rollers 34 may operate at an optimal lubricated status, thereby lengthening the lifespan thereof.

[0015] While this invention has been particularly shown and described with references to preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and adaptions may be made therein without departing from the true spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A wheel body and a bearing of in-line skate for positioning rollers of a bearing thereof so that stress thereof is dispersed evenly for preventing loss of grease, intrusions of alien objects, and deformation and locking between the two bearing thereof, thereby increasing the lifespan thereof, comprising an axletree at the outer edge of a wheel body, a recess provided at the two sides of the wheel body for fitting the bearings, respectively, and a spacing having a partition provided for reducing production material and weight; and the characteristics thereof are that one side of the axletree is sealed and the other side thereof is in communication with open air with fitting holes provided at the partition of the spacing at the opening, and at the outer edge of the axletree is provided with an axletree cover having corresponding fitting axes for sealing the spacing; the bearing is further provided with an outer shell having a lengthened central axis, a containment ring having concaves and an outer cover for holding the rollers; the containment ring enclosing the rollers is sealed at the opening of the outer shell, and at the outer edge is of the outer shell is provided with an outer cover for covering the opening.

2. The wheel body and a bearing of in-line skate in accordance with claim 1, wherein the lengthened central axis at the two sides from the bearing is free of gaps from joining, thus making intrusions of alien objects that further result in locking improbable.
