FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] This invention relates to an amusement device and more particularly to a projectile toy the toy is tossed in the air by grasping the elastic sleeve at the point distant from the sand bag which is enclosed in the other end of said sleeve and swinging the toy in a circular motion and subsequently releasing the sleeve resulting in the toy to become air borne.

[0002] the objective of this invention is to create an amusement device with the use of a common household materials and/or materials or components which are readily available in the market and are manufactured on an high volume and low cost.

[0003] Another objective of this invention is simplicity of assembly as compared to other similar devices available today.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Pursue of happiness is one major objective in life and toys in general and throwing toys in particular were always a source of joy to kids and adults.

[0005] In many cases of similar devices we find a greater complexity as far as assembly is concerned and as far as achieving the goal of low cost and fewer parts to assemble and availability of those parts.

[0007] The above and other beneficial objects and advantages are accomplished in accordance with the present invention by a throwing toy comprising:

[0008] An elastic sleeve having a first end and a second end. The first end of the elastic sleeve is closed and the second end of it is open. Inside of the first end there is a sand bag.

[0009] The sand bag comprises of 2-12 ounces of sand packed in a plastic bag or fabric bag..

[0010] The sleeve comprises a ladies knee-hi,panty hose,or common household elastic sock.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0011] About 6 ounces of beach sand is packed in a plastic bag and placed inside a ladies Knee-Hi sock

Claims

1. A throwing toy comprising:

An elastic sleeve having a first end and a second end. Said first end of said elastic sleeve is closed and said second end of said elastic sleeve is open. Inside of said first end of said sleeve there is a sand bag.

2. A toy of claim 1 wherein said sleeve comprises a ladies knee-hi, panty hose, or common household elastic sock.

3. A toy of claim 1 wherein said sand bag comprises of 2-12 ounces of sand packed in a plastic bag or fabric bag.
