BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

[0004] This invention pertains to the Gaming Industry. This invention could be used in many ways but it's best use would be to replace the Big 6 and Big 8 bet. Those bets are obsolete on the current dice table layout.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] This invention would be used on existing dice table felts to improve profitability by generating more players and more bets by replacing an old bet which is seldom used any more by players. This bet would allow players to bet that the next number rolled would be either High (8, 9, 10, 11, 12) or Low (2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING

[0006] FIG. 1. Shows one possible design for bet and where it could be used on existing table.

[0007] FIG. 2. Dice table layout with new bet on it.

[0008] FIG. 3. Design of new High Dice/Low Dice Game.

DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION

[0009] This is a new dice table bet. It gives the player a chance to bet on each roll of the dice. The player can bet High (8,9,10,11,12) or Low (6,5,4,3,2). If one of the numbers is rolled, it pays even money except on the 12 and 2 which pays 5 times the amount wagered. This pay off structure makes this bet unique and desirable. This is a new bet which is exciting, fun and easy to understand. For these reasons, it should generate more players and more bets, which will increase the profit for each table. The Casino's win percentage is 2.7%, which makes it a good bet for the player. This percentage can be increased in the Casino's favor by changing the payoff on the 2 and 12 to 4 times amount wagered. By doing this, the Casino would have 4.3% win percentage. This would be an improvement to the industry standard, which is now being used. This could be a new dice felt (FIG. 1) or a patch of felt with the bets painted on it or that could be ironed or glued to existing felt (FIG. 2). The bets could also be called Small Dice and Big Dice to avoid any confusion with the 2 and 12 bet (which is sometimes referred to as High/Low).

[0010] This bet can also be set up as a new game by itself The felt would have three possible bets for the players to choose High, Low and the number 7 which would pay 5 to 1 (FIG. 3).

Claims

1. What I claim as my invention is a new “bet” that can be used with existing dice tables. The new bet has two parts allowing the better to bet High which would be the numbers 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. If one of those numbers were rolled, the bet would win. If the better bets low which would be 5, 6, 4, 3, 2, and one of those numbers was rolled, the bet would win. If 2 or 12 is rolled, the bet would be paid 5 times the amount wagered. This is a one-roll bet. The payoff structure is what makes this bet unique and attractive to Casino's and players alike. My invention is the design and the bet itself in all capacities, which would also include all obvious possible variations of payoffs and design changes. One possible layout for the bet is shown in FIG. 2 on page 6. This is the most common design for use with the current dice table felt.

2. What I claim as my invention is a new bet that can also be a new game by itself This new game would be a dice table with only this bet and the option to bet the number 7 which would pay 5 to 1. The design of the felt for the new game is limitless. How the bet works would be the same. One possible layout for the new game is shown in FIG. 3 on page 6. This would be the best design but there'could be many variations. In FIG. 3, all the blanks would be filled in the same way as the one that is filled in.
