[0001] This is a continuation-in part of application Ser. No. 10/420,793, filed on Apr. 23, 2003.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0002] 1. Field of the Invention
[0003] The present invention relates to an industrial dry/wet dust-collector with innovatory features, and more particularly to an industrial dry/wet dust-collector which can efficiently and quickly collect liquid/bigger solid impurities and tip out bigger solid impurities.
[0004] 2. Brief Description of the Prior Art
[0005] At present, gearbox oil, motor oil, pressure oil, hydraulic oil, metal-cutting oil and the like are widely applied in many machines in factories. These industrial oils, after a period of service, must be replaced by new oils, so as to keep the machines running smoothly, and it is necessary to use an industrial oil/dust collector to dispose the used oils (usually called waste oils).
[0006] Referring to FIG. 2, the parent invention of an industrial oil/dust collector 3 with the U.S. patent application No. 10/420,793 had been invented to overcome the drawbacks of an conventional oil/dust collector. However, the filter basket of the filtering chamber in the oil collecting tank 33 of the parent invention can not store more solid impurities, such as metal scraps, plastic grains, soya beans. Additionally, the parent invention is heavy for a user to operate.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0007] Therefore, the objective of the present invention is to provide an industrial dry/wet dust-collector that can substantially obviate the drawbacks of the parent industrial oil/dust collector.
[0008] An objective of the present invention is to provide an industrial dry/wet dust-collector that can connect with the parent invention of an industrial oil/dust collector or any kind of conventional oil/dust collector to achieve more efficient functions.
[0009] Another objective of the present invention is to provide an industrial dry/wet dust-collector that can be efficiently and quickly operated to suck oil or big solid impurities.
[0010] Yet another objective of the present invention is to provide an industrial dry/wet dust-collector that can be efficiently and quickly operated to tip out big solid impurities.
[0011] Accordingly, an industrial dry/wet dust-collector in the present invention is provided with a room in the main body. A filtering member is provided at one side of the room, and an oil (liquid)-collecting tank is provided at one side of the filtering member. A cover is provided on the top of the main body, and a sucking pipe is provided at the front of the cover or the main body. A dry valve switch and a wet valve switch are provided on the rear side of the main body, so as to efficiently achieve the functions of collecting oil and bigger solid impurities and tipping out bigger solid impurities.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS[0012] Other features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent in the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
[0013] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the industrial dry/wet dust-collector in accordance with the present invention;
[0014] FIG. 2 is a schematic view showing the suction pipe of the parent invention of the industrial oil/dust collector being connected to the dry valve switch of the industrial dry/wet dust-collector in accordance with the present invention;
[0015] FIG. 3 is a schematic view showing the suction pipe of the parent invention of the industrial oil/dust collector being connected to the wet valve switch of the industrial dry/wet dust-collector in accordance with the present invention;
[0016] FIG. 4 is a schematic view showing the suction pipe of a conventional industrial oil/dust collector being connected to the wet valve switch of the industrial dry/wet dust-collector in accordance with the present invention;
[0017] FIG. 5 is a schematic view showing the main body of the embodiment of the present invention being operated to tip out big solid impurities; and,
[0018] FIG. 6 is a schematic view showing the suction pipe of another conventional dust-collector being connected to the dry valve switch of the industrial dry/wet dust-collector in accordance with the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS[0019] Referring to FIG. 1, an embodiment of the present invention of an industrial dry/wet dust-collector is provided with a room 11 in the main body 1. A filtering member 12 is provided at one side of the room 11, and an oil (liquid)-collecting tank 111 is provided at one side of the filtering member 12. A cover 13 is provided on the top of the main body 1, and the cover 13 has a front part 131 and a rear part 132. The front part 131 of the cover 13 can be operated to open or close, and the rear part 132 of the cover 13 is fixed. A sucking pipe 14 is provided at the front of the cover 13 or the main body 1. A pair of handles 15 are provided at the rear of the main body 1. A dry valve switch 16 and a wet valve switch 17 are provided below the handles 15 at the rear side of the main body 1. A movable wheel 18 and a pair of stand members 19 are provided under the main body 1.
[0020] While being operated, referring to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the suction pipe 31 of the parent invention or a conventional industrial oil/dust collector 3 is first sleeved to the dry valve switch 16, and the wet valve switch 17 must be closed. When the switching device 32 of the industrial oil/dust collector 3 is turned on to start the motor M, the room 11 of the main body 1 will become vacuum because of the suction of the suction pipe 31, the sucking pipe 14 of the industrial dry/wet dust-collector can be used to suck solid impurities, such as metal scraps, plastic grains, soya beans, or liquid, such as waste oil, chemiccal solution, into the room 11 to be filtered through the filtering member 12, and the liquid will be collected in the oil (liquid)-collecting tank 111. Then, the suction pipe 31 of the industrial oil/dust collector 3 is changedover to sleeve on the wet valve switch 17, and the dry valve switch 16 must be closed, so as to suck the liquid in the oil (liquid)-collecting tank 111 into the oil-collecting tank 33 of the industrial oil/dust collector 3. Referring to FIG. 5, the front part 131 of the cover 13 can be opened, and the main body 1 is leant forward to tip out solid impurities.
[0021] Referring to FIG. 6, the present invention of the industrial dry/wet dust-collector can be applied to a conventional dust-collector 5 used in a house. The operation manner is the same as that of the above-mentioned, but the dry valve switch 16 must be replaced by a smaller size of connector.
[0022] While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein, and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications which may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
