Article of clothing
An article of clothing has a clothing part to be worn by a user, a toy, the toy being connected with the clothing part, and a connection for connecting the toy to the clothing part so that a user can find the toy in the clothing part, and also when the user wears the clothing the toy can stay with the clothing part.
[0001] The present invention relates to articles of clothing.
[0002] More particularly it relates to clothing for use by children.
[0003] Articles of clothing are known in the art and widely worn and used by population. The known articles of clothing are designed so as to be worn in corresponding situations, zones, weather, etc. It is believed that the existing articles of clothing can be further improved.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION[0004] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide an article of clothing which is a further improvement of the existing articles of clothing.
[0005] In keeping with these objects and with others which will become apparent hereinafter, one feature of the present invention resides, briefly stated, in an article of clothing which has a clothing part to be worn by a user; a toy, said toy being connected with said clothing part; and means for connecting said toy to said clothing part so that when a user wears the clothing said toy can stay with said clothing part.
[0006] In accordance with another feature of the present invention it is proposed to provide an article of clothing which has said connecting means formed so that said toy is permanently attached to said clothing part.
[0007] In accordance with still a further feature of the present invention it is proposed to provide an article of clothing wherein said connecting means is formed so that said toy is removably attached to said clothing part so that it can be held by said clothing part and alternatively it can be removed from said clothing part and used separately as a toy.
[0008] In accordance with still a further feature of the present invention it is proposed to provide an article of clothing which has said connecting means formed so that said toy is detachable from said clothing part, and thereafter can be attached again to said clothing part.
[0009] When the article of clothing is designed in accordance with the present invention, it has in addition to its functions to be worn by a user, an additional attractiveness in particular for children, since the article of clothing is provided with a toy which can be permanently attached to it, removably attached to it, removably and returnably attached to it.
[0010] The novel features which are considered as characteristic for the present invention are set forth in particular in the appended claims. The invention itself, however, both as to its construction and its method of operation, together with additional objects and advantages thereof, will be best understood from the following description of specific embodiments when read in connection with the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS[0011] FIG. 1 is a view showing a first embodiment of an article of clothing in accordance with the present invention;
[0012] FIGS. 2a and 2b are a front view and a cross-section of an article of clothing in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention.
[0013] FIGS. 3a and 3b are a front view and a section of an article of clothing in accordance with a further embodiment of the present invention;
[0014] FIG. 4 is a view showing an article of clothing in accordance with a fourth embodiment of the present invention;
[0015] FIGS. 5a and 5b are views showing an article of clothing in accordance with a fifth embodiment of the present invention.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS[0016] An article of clothing in accordance with the present invention as shown in FIG. 1 has a clothing part which is identified with reference numeral 1 and is formed as a dress. The article of clothing shown in FIG. 1 has a toy which is identified with reference numeral 2. The toy in this embodiment is formed as a small keyboard with individual keys, attached for example to a sleeve of the dress 1. The keyboard can be attached at an outer surface of the sleeve. On the other hand, it can be attached on the outer surface of the sleeve and covered for example by transparent sheet. A user, for example a girl can wear the dress, in particular can put on the clothing part 1 and at the same time can enjoy playing with a toy which in this embodiment is the keyboard 2. She can also produce sounds by playing the keyboard, of course to a limited degree.
[0017] An article of clothing in accordance with the embodiment of FIGS. 2a and 2b has a clothing part which is identified with reference numeral 21 and formed for example as a suit including a short and pants. A toy 22 is provided and attached to the pants. The toy 22 can be formed for example as a toy dog, as shown more clearly in FIG. 2b. A toy dog 22 is located in a pocket 23 which is attached to the pants of the clothing part 21. The toy dog 22 is attached to the material of the pants for example removably. For this purpose for example a VELCRO connection 24 can be utilized, which includes one part attached to the toy dog 3 and another part attached to the fabric of the pants. A child can remove the toy dog 2 from the pocket by disconnecting of the parts of the VELCRO connection and play with it. Afterwards he can put the toy dog 22 into a pocket 23 again and attach it to the fabric of the pants by connecting the two parts of the VELCRO connection with one another.
[0018] An article of clothing shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b is shown for example as a mitten 31. A toy formed for example as a jello-like mass 32 is accommodated in a small pocket 33, for example on a palm side or a back side of the mitten. The material of the pocket 23 can be for example transparent. Therefore, a person for example a kid who wears the mitten can press the sheet which forms the pockets 33 so as to deform or form correspondingly the jello-like mass 32 inside the pocket, in order to make some shapes, etc.
[0019] An article of clothing shown in FIG. 4 has two mittens 41 and 42 provided with two elements 43 and 44. The two elements 43 and 44 are formed so that when a user, for example a child claps hands with the mittens 41 and 42 on them, a sound is produced, for example a squeaking sound and the like. In order to produce a squeaking sound, the elements 43 and 44 has to be formed correspondingly, for example as squeaking producing layers, inserts etc.
[0020] The article of clothing shown in FIGS. 5a and 5b has a clothing part which is formed as a hat 51. A toy 52 formed for example as a little bird is accommodated in small compartment formed by the wall of the hat 51 and an additional flap 53 which is pivotal about an axis 54. A small spring 55 is located between the wall of the hat 51 and the little bird 52. A VELCRO connection 56 can be provided between the flap 53 and the wall of the hat 51. When a user, for example a child wears such a hat, he or she can disconnect the velcro connection 56 and the spring 55 pushes the bird 52 laterally so as to move away the flap 53 and expose the bird. At the same time, there can be a sound generating mechanism formed so that the bird not only moves away from the head, but at the same time chirps, etc.
[0021] It can be seen that in the articles of clothing which are presented here as examples, there is a clothing part and a toy part which is connected with the clothing part either permanently, or removably, or removably and returnably. Also, the toy can produce images, sounds, and both.
[0022] It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together, may also find a useful application in other types of constructions differing from the types described above.
[0023] While the invention has been illustrated and described as embodied in an article of clothing, it is not intended to be limited to the details shown, since various modifications and structural changes may be made without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
[0024] Without further analysis, the foregoing will so fully reveal the gist of the present invention that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily adapt it for various applications without omitting features that, from the standpoint of prior art, fairly constitute essential characteristics of the generic or specific aspects of this invention.
[0025] What is claimed as new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent is set forth in the appended claims.
