Abstract

The present invention is related to a strip structure of a net. Its particular structure is formed by the strip, folding on a top of the net rope of the net, with fastening strips formed on each folding end, wherein a female fastening tape and a male fastening tape formed inside along the fastening strips, to be stuck together to fix on the top of the net rope of the net, thereby forming an easy-detaching and easy-replacing structure of the strip.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention relates to a strip folding on a top of a net, and more particularly to a female and a male fastening tape formed inside thereof, which is easy to be separated and, instead of replacing a whole net, replaced with a new strip when damages limit only to the top of the net, thereby saving cost.

[0003] (b) Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Referring to FIG. 5. A convention net A, like a volleyball or a tennis court net, includes a strip A2 stitched on a top of a net rope A1, with a stitch line A3 formed thereof. The strip A2 is pulled to keep the net A straight, thereby forming a touch-net judging line for serving. The strip A2 can be damaged or worn out for exposing the net A to sun and rain in an outside court, or frequently being hit by tennis balls, or occasionally being folded for keeping. When the strip A2 damaged to the extent that a replacement should be enforced, the whole net A shall be replaced because the net A and the net rope A1, being stitched together, cannot be separated. It can be a waste for such a total replacement.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The present invention relates to an improved strip folding on a top of a net, and more particularly to a strip with a female and a male fastening tape formed inside thereof.

[0006] The present invention is to provide the strip structure, which is easy to be separated and replaced with a new strip to save time and cost.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2. The present invention comprises a net 1 and a strip 2, wherein

[0014] the net 1 is formed by a knitted net rope 11;

[0015] the strip 2 is a long strip folding on a top of the net rope 11 of the net 1, with fastening strips 21 and 22 formed thereof, wherein, a female fastening tape 23 and a male fastening tape 24 formed inside along the fastening strips 21 and 22, respectively, and two fixing holes 25 and 26, penetrating fastening strips 21 and 22 as well as female and male fastening tapes 23 and 24, formed on both ends of the strip.

The fastening strip 21 of the strip 2 folds round the top of the net rope 11 to meet the fastening strip 22 such that the female fastening tape 23 sticks together with the male fastening tape 24, thereby fixing the strip 2 firmly on the top of the net rope 11. Referring to FIG. 4. A rope passing through fixing holes 25 and 26 fixes the net 1 on net stands. By pulling the rope to tighten the strip 2, the net 1 thereby straightened to avoid slacking, due to the weight of the net itself.

[0017] The strip 2 can be damaged or worn out for exposing the net 1 to sun and rain in an outside court, or frequently being hit by tennis ball, or occasionally being folded for keeping, thereby a replacement of the strip 2 is necessary in due course. To replace the strip 2, detach the female fastening tape 23 of the fastening strip 21 with the male fastening tape 24 of the fastening strip 22 and then replace a new strip 2 by following the same procedures as described above, thereby saving cost for not replacing the whole net 1.

[0018] The present invention has the following advantages,

[0019] 1. With female and male fastening tapes formed inside the strip to facilitate detaching a used strip and assembling a new strip on the top of the net, a replacement can be limited to only the strip, instead of a whole net, thereby cost can be saved.

[0020] 2. With an easy way of sticking female and male fastening tapes together, a replacement can be done even during a match, when the strip damaged by tennis balls' heavy hitting, without causing too much delay.

[0021] 3. The strip can be stored separately with the net to avoid damages due to folding together, thereby extending the service life.

[0022] It is of course to be understood that the embodiment described herein is merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.

Claims

1. A strip structure of a net, comprising:

the net formed by a knitted net rope;

the strip folding on a top of the net rope of the net, with fastening strips formed on each folding end and two fixing holes formed on both ends of the strip, wherein a female fastening tape and a male fastening tape formed inside along the fastening strips, to be stuck together to fix the strip on the top of the net rope of the net.
