The look is perceived with minimal effort by interchanging the upper front of shoe with other slides/converters, which may be sold separately and/or with shoes, saving time, money and space.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0001] One basic shoe can be converted into other shoes or various styles, looks, materials, colors, designs and ornaments by removing the original front panel of the shoe and replacing it with another slide/converter.

[0002] The replacement is basically the same size as the original panel, which is attached to the sole in a removable manner with snaps, lock-in clamps, velcro, hooks, fasteners, buttons or zippers. The replacement is substituted and fastened in the same manner with removable slides of the same basic dimensions as the original. (FIG. A) All available in various heel heights such as high, medium and low in wide, medium and thin widths. (FIG. B)

[0003] The conversion is simple, quick and easy. The basic shoe and various slides are a definite space saver for packing/suitcase for traveling. Storage and/or closet space are also minimized, eliminating the need for multi-colors and styles to co-ordinate daytime or evening wear and also saving time and money.

[0004] Converters may be bought with shoes, individually, or in sets of various colors and designs in various materials such as denim, linen, gold, silver, bronze, rhinestone, sequins, satin, silk, lace, lucite, kid, patent leather, brown, black, navy, red, bone, white—limitless patterns and designs. Patterns, materials and ornaments will vary subject to change, pending feasibility, manufacturing, convenience and cost.

1. My claim consists of an improvement in ladies' shoes. I claim a new idea to convert a basic ladies' shoe by interchanging the top front panelslide of the shoe with other slides in various materials in any heel height.

A space saver for packing/suitcase and closet/storage space; also an economic factor. The basic shoe can be converted to many and replace and alter appearances with minimal effort, thus eliminating the need to purchase shoes for every occasion. The look will be considerably changed to blend with daytime or evening wear.
